Where do I feel free and alive? In a yoga class; enjoying a good oat porridge in a cafe on my own; watching tennis; reading to my child; on holiday; driving to work.
The collective of humanity and the Earth now going through the dark night of the Soul. For some this takes many years. For my self this was a period of 8 years. Turn within!
I have stayed in a very toxic and unfulfilled marriage because of society’s expectations. My belief that I must stay in this for the sake of my child. That I mustn’t even think about having another child with another man because of the disgrace. But now I’m ripping that belief apart.
Thank you for sharing such a deeply personal reflection. It takes immense strength to begin questioning and breaking free from beliefs that have held you back. What has helped you start this process of redefining your path, and how do you envision creating a more fulfilling life for yourself and your child moving forward?
This was a very positive message to me. I’m truly blessed to have access to helpful information. I’m grateful for you! I’m taking time for myself as I move forward with my life 🌹
Yes I’ve reached milestones. Buying a house being one of them. But how deeply unhappy I’ve been. How deeply disappointing marriage and house has been. Got the ‘wow love your house’ from so many in society. And I thought for all my life that was important. Fact I was in an unloving toxic union was secondary.
It’s so insightful that you recognize the contrast between external validation and internal fulfillment. What steps have you been taking to focus on what truly brings you happiness?
@@betterliffe yes external validation vs internal validation is an important distinction. What I think of myself and what makes me happy vs what others think of me is very different. And what is been really important to me in all this is not passing down to my child that what others think matters. I’m becoming more and more authentic. Coming out of my shell. Not judging myself.
My dream to have a happy and fulfilling marriage with children was killed off. It all became a tick box exercise. My beliefs were limited and were in line with my family of origin.
Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable part of your journey. It sounds like you’ve done some deep reflection on the expectations placed on you. Have you found ways to redefine what fulfillment looks like for you personally?
@@betterliffe well I have a child and would love to give her a sibling. Because of the abusive nature of my marriage I haven’t been able to have another child. It would be wonderful to have a second child with someone I love. And to live peacefully with my child that I have
How can I get in touch with my inner child My inner child have not grown up due to lots of abuse mentally and emotionally and always been holding myself back That's the real question
@johnnygonzalez544 Thank you for sharing such a personal and profound question. Reconnecting with your inner child, especially after experiencing abuse, is a deeply important and often challenging journey. The fact that you're asking this question shows great self-awareness and a desire for healing. When our inner child hasn't been able to grow due to trauma, it can manifest in various ways - difficulty trusting others, fear of vulnerability, or struggles with self-worth. These are natural responses to protect ourselves, but they can also hold us back from fully experiencing life and relationships. Some steps you might consider to begin nurturing your inner child: - Practice self-compassion: Speak to yourself with kindness, as you would to a child who's hurting. - Engage in play: Reconnect with activities you enjoyed as a child or always wanted to try. - Journaling: Write letters to your younger self, expressing the love and support you needed then. - Inner child meditation: Visualize comforting your younger self in guided meditations. - Creative expression: Art, music, or dance can help process emotions non-verbally. - Seek professional support: A trauma-informed therapist can provide valuable guidance. - Join support groups: Connecting with others who've had similar experiences can be healing. - Practice boundary-setting: Learn to protect yourself in healthy ways. Remember, healing isn't linear. It's okay to have setbacks - they're part of the process. The key is to be patient and gentle with yourself. We'd be happy to discuss this further if you'd like. We could explore more specific strategies or resources that might be helpful for your unique situation. Would you be interested in continuing this conversation privately? If so, please let us know, and we can arrange a way to connect more directly. You're taking an important step by addressing this. Your inner child - and your present self - deserve all the care and support in the world.
My dream is to have a 2nd child but society would say have it in wedlock with your husband. But my husband has been a swine and our marriage is finished saved as to name. I would love to have a child with someone else

Jung would have called that synchronicity ;p

why would you voluntarily bring a child into this current world???
@@zoradanyne9181because it’s my desire. Something innate. But not with this person. My true inner self says with someone I truly love.
