- NASA astronauts and scientists are among those in this educational parody of Psy's popular music video. "NASA Johnson Style" was created, written and produced by the Houston center's co-op students who volunteered for the project " to inform the public about the amazing work going on at NASA and the Johnson Space Center."

Exactly 10 years ago, when we were about to go back to the moon. Obama eliminated all space operations and turned NASA into the Climate Change Agency. Now things will be different, and I hope that at some point in the next 6 years we will return to the moon.
Just a little fact: Without NASAs subsidies, SpaceX wouldn't be here today (over 2bln NASA has invested). So the cool SpaceX stuff is actually cool NASA stuff.

@BEENESS Yes and no. Initially yes, but with the Artimis project it seems that SpaceX is just one of the bidders, and with commercial crew flights probably coming, it looks like they're much more of an independent company these days.

The SLS is useless, they should pay SpaceX for Spaceship
I legit wrote an essay about this haha, SLS development has cost more than a third of the entire Apollo program, adjusted for inflation. Starship is 770x cheaper per kilogram, bringing SLS's $15,374 per kilo down to $20 PER KILOGRAM. How much longer are they going to waste money?

The interns have made a bunch of fun music videos but THIS one is the best. It is getting a little dated but man I must have watched this at least 10 times over the years. Gotta love all three astros for playing along. Clayton Anderson is such a gas.

I kept watching and waiting for this version to "blow-up" on the internet and be part of the "2012, Year in Review", Gangnam Style collection; but it was never on any media outside of the NASA webpage. Sadly, when news came about Curiosity, WPIX, NY referred to anyone interested in the rover news and Mars as a "space geek". Has the world gone mad? More interest in "Personalities" with no substance! Thankyou for this Great parody! It makes the space program "fun", with education. Watch over & ...

I had to add this to favorites, and give it a thumbs up. I don't even care if it was made at taxpayers expense, it's better spent than most of what the Gov't does. (Public relations, and mentioning that our daily lives, everyone on Earth, are improved by what NASA does.)

I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid. Sadly for me, my brain wiring repeatedly proved I'd be a much better fit for composing the music that might enhance a spacey backdrop. Good thing I was already a Vangelis fan. 😜😅 So my musician self is sitting here appreciating both the science and music nerdiness that went into this hilarious parody. 😁😁😁
