Dragon Slayer its more complex than you think. you need to build new drivelines to the front wheels, cut a lot of holes for it to fit, new transmission etc
I'm not familiar with these American trucks, but don't they come in 4wd trim too? I'm sure the f-xxx does If the frame is the same you could likely just swap the tranny, knuckles and maybe subframe
loric loppi even if this is true getting your hands on all those parts is hard and expensive. I also think that 4wd was only on the pickup models, meaning adjusting it to the bus length may need welding
Ditch the driver side step. It will look cleaner without it and will make the bus look like it's sitting up higher. And remove the rear fender rubber. Spiked lug nuts would look cool too.
Just weld a small side step tube on. You want SOMETHING there to protect the door, and help hopping in n out. The quick fix is fine for now. All black looks MUCH better. Cancer rust is still under there but fine for now.
Should look into seeing if you could do a small like 2 or 3 inch lift 1. Helps with more clearance 2. Helps clear the tires better for no chances at rubbing 3. Keeps you from have to cut up the new front end if it would rub on it and keep you from damaging it any. 4. It would look badass having a lifted camper bus to pull your cars to events. Just something to think about.
Good work as always, if you havent already bought all your solar stuff, depending on what your budget is from personal experience a petrol or diesel generator to run a heater or air con is a far cheaper option unless you were using it all day everyday. A decent dual battery system with a single solar panel will run a fridge and LED tv. You need a lot of batteries and a lot of solar panels to run air con or a heater. LED stick on strip lights are great for interior lighting with very low power draw.
I'm running the treadwright 33" wardens right now, ive had them for a little over a year now and they still look brand new... However i wanted an upgrade so I bought a set of 35" Claws II and they should be coming in this week can't wait to put them on my new wheels.
Wet dryer sheets takes bugs off of bumpers and grills like melted butter. Trust me. We get bad migrations of love bugs here in Florida twice a year. The dryer sheets never fail.
I love the way the bus looks with those tires! It gave it just a little bit more height and the side profile looks mean now! Post Apocalypse ready! Also, I thought you owned a slider for them cinematic shots? It's a must!
I've been running treadwright Warden tires for the past 9 years. I I had to buy bigger tires because I lifted my 99 Tahoe AKA the short bus 6 in in the 285 didn't look right on my left so I went with 315s from General Grabber because they were a good price.
I got a JDM Nissan V35(Infiniti G35 I've nearly finished 6MT swapping it I need tyres for. The car was sitting for 5 years and the tyres have flat spots in all of them lol.. Learnt that lesson the hard way.
I noticed on one of your first videos that this was from Penn trafford school district, that’s where I’m from! I love seeing what you’re doing with the bus, it is awesome!
Cut the flares but leave the bolt molding if that makes sense. Like cut the flares under the bolts so there's just the rubber ring around the fender but it doesn't stick out.
Red Squirrel yes you can but going from a 27 to 31 won't throw it off that badly. At higher speed it's more noticeable, but even at 70 I figure it'll only be 3-5 miles off
Love the tires!! This thing will be kick ass with the conversion, new bumper, and some light bars! You should totally do a huge one on top and a smaller one in the bumper! Really liked the video, keep up the great work and I’m so excited for the car reveal (even though I think there might’ve been a sneak peek in this video)
Now buy new shocks and paint the frame! will look so much nicer AND it won’t rust. just did it to my own f250, came out great. i used rust oleum bedliner
@Gingium You should do like a couple inch airbag lift, look up Kelderman. They have better ride, they adjust up and down, they increase your payload, and more!
make a rock-slider style side step out of pipe, it'll look sick! those tires give the bus a way better stance. just hope that the rear won't rub when towing
I have a mini schoolie also and I love the tires on the bus. I want to put some new tires on mine also, I am going to go to the bus barn to see what I can get help with...my bus is a food truck in Oregon
Get like a 2inch or 4inch body lift for the bus if they even make one and I don't put a light bar on the bus just put some pods where the lights are on the roof
Should give it some 48' mud tires and give it bigger shocks and get one of those mountain climbing chain's on the front that a lot of jeeps and truck have and put some uv light on top
Does the bus have a limited slip rearend? If not might be something to look into, take our bus up mountain roads with trailer and full size truck on the back haven't had a traction issue yet
Side step in some kind of chrome like finish would be cool. Though maybe it would not go well with the bus. Need a firetruck build...Or a red truck.....:P
A 3 ton jack will lift one corner of the bus. 10,000lbs ÷ 4 =2,500lbs per corner of the bus. If you leave all 3 other wheels on the ground, your 3 ton jack should easily lift one corner of the bus no problem.
When you’re done with the battle van, put the light bars on that bus
drfrenchfry he already did
Build a small little tubular side step! It would look amazing!.. Nothing crazy because i know you dont have tools but itd look great!
ThatRaptorGuy nice 😂
A 3 ton Jack would have been more than enough. You're only picking up 1 corner of the bus at a time.
"AT A TIME
Ilikeboost thats what i was thinking
not-so-smartium
i face palmed when he said that haha
Ilikeboost k
I would like tires
For my non existent car
just use them in pixel car racer
yea...
I want them to sell them lol
I will put it on my 03 Dodge Dakota for you
Looks way better and it's nice to know treadright makes the old school bf all terrains and mud terrains
10:23 Nice truck
Skalman Oz 5:51 aswell
Jean-Jean Plays how about 2:44 in the corner?
Mazda B2200
In the beginning of the last video aswell
That's the new project car or one of his friends car
Finally
Following the first goals
Next all wheel drive
Making it four wheel drive is thousands of dollars and is kinda pointless unless actually offroading.
Dragon Slayer its more complex than you think. you need to build new drivelines to the front wheels, cut a lot of holes for it to fit, new transmission etc
I'm not familiar with these American trucks, but don't they come in 4wd trim too?
I'm sure the f-xxx does
If the frame is the same you could likely just swap the tranny, knuckles and maybe subframe
swap the miata not this thing
loric loppi even if this is true getting your hands on all those parts is hard and expensive. I also think that 4wd was only on the pickup models, meaning adjusting it to the bus length may need welding
Ditch the driver side step. It will look cleaner without it and will make the bus look like it's sitting up higher. And remove the rear fender rubber. Spiked lug nuts would look cool too.
ScoobyDigits I agree except the spikes
Spiked lugs would be killer on the bus!
Sparks 1013 I mean on the rear wheels the front they might stick out too much unless you get the stubby variety.
Thats ok, then people really know to gtf out of the way : )
*0:10** "To a velickle"*
hahaha i rewinded to that cuz i missed it the first time lmao xD
PAKTRA_PRODUCTIONS WATCH_DOGS HAHA
Hahaha I just noticed that
I love the way the back tires look! As long as there is enough clearance around the wheel wells I'd keep them like it is.
I handled your tires at work yesterday!!
Thank you!
I’m surprised you even did the tires. I work at Discount tire myself and we never touch retreads
Looks so insane! Love it, now it needs a phat light bar above the windshield
Undercoat the wheele well and use Berliner on the step board
talk about filling up your wheel well. DAYUM. look awesome ging! keep up the good work.
I like how he didn't even try and hide it in this video, can't wait to see the full thing tomorrow. I'm stoked
Sorry caleb, this is a list of every time you see the mysterious mazda. 2:41-2:57 3:05 5:32 5:44-5:53 11:24 and 11:49
Would it not be better if you got tires that give better mpg?
Finally back to the Adventure Bus. Love all your videos!!!! I also think the new vehicle is a Mazda B-series pick up....
TheNamesSecret the car is in the last video, the rallycross one so yeah everyone kinda know what it is!
Just weld a small side step tube on. You want SOMETHING there to protect the door, and help hopping in n out.
The quick fix is fine for now. All black looks MUCH better. Cancer rust is still under there but fine for now.
The adventure bus is getting adventure-y now. It looks 👌
Should look into seeing if you could do a small like 2 or 3 inch lift
1. Helps with more clearance
2. Helps clear the tires better for no chances at rubbing
3. Keeps you from have to cut up the new front end if it would rub on it and keep you from damaging it any.
4. It would look badass having a lifted camper bus to pull your cars to events.
Just something to think about.
Thank you for supporting gingium tread wright will definitely be looking into your tires in the future
Do the yellow lines on the bus bother anyone else?
Kota Coleman yup
Yes
Yeah should touch that up. Using small brush to put some black paint would probably be ok. Would stand out less.
Y’all are so fucking annoying
He shouldn't have used plasti dip lol
You know what I just want to point out how much gingium has come far because he’s mostly done everything himself the welding wiring and I love that
A 4wd conversion would be super cool. I don't know how realistic that if for this build though
Good work as always, if you havent already bought all your solar stuff, depending on what your budget is from personal experience a petrol or diesel generator to run a heater or air con is a far cheaper option unless you were using it all day everyday. Bus looks great. Pretty stoked on that red drift truck in the corner.
*Oh yeah! Finally some adventure bus mods!*
Tyres are awesome. Can’t wait to see that front end conversion
Well. Seeing this project I couldn't allow myself to leave your channel without subscribing. Awesome work man and truly unique project!
LOVE THE BUS AND CANNOT WAIT FOR THE FRONT END SWAP!!
An air locker in the rear axle would also help a lot for the mud/sand/whatever the adventure bus might encounter :)
Those tires are awesome! I'd love a set of those on my budget wrangler build.
Looking really good!! You should check out a small lift for the bus. The back definitely needs it. Maybe some airbags? Should be pretty cheap.
LOVE the tires! Maybe put light bars or spotlights where those yellow lights are up front?
I've lifted lots of buses and tow trucks with a 3 ton jack, it's fine.
I love the way the bus looks with those tires! It gave it just a little bit more height and the side profile looks mean now! Post Apocalypse ready!
Also, I thought you owned a slider for them cinematic shots? It's a must!
Just cut about a half to one inch off of the rear flares and they should look perfect. Fab up some faux rock sliders to replace the running board.
THE NEW TIRES LOOK SUPPER KEEP IT UP YOU ARE DOING A GRATE JOB!!
Almost there... You need to add 4x4 to it!
I've been running treadwright Warden tires for the past 9 years.
I I had to buy bigger tires because I lifted my 99 Tahoe AKA the short bus 6 in in the 285 didn't look right on my left so I went with 315s from General Grabber because they were a good price.
Look really good love the fitment expecially in the rear.
can’t have enough videos of this thing
The fender flares HAVE to go
Bigger diameter messes up the speedometer btw
That would make sense... probably need to recal it. (is that possible? No idea how that works tbh)
Red Squirrel yes you can but going from a 27 to 31 won't throw it off that badly. At higher speed it's more noticeable, but even at 70 I figure it'll only be 3-5 miles off
Start the truck build it will be youre best one and push your chanel im sure you will get to 500k with this build! Sooo hyped
Love the build.. but I think some 26 inch Alcoas would look sweet on it
Fabricate some side steps and perhaps change the drivers seat to like some really comfy seat with an arm rest and electric controls out of a RV
Keep the steps. U need em just clean em up, with. Awesome
Get white letters on bus tires gives it such a awesome look😍🔥
I think u should make a new simple one for those steps with metal pipes
The frunt of it right now looks good don't change it
Now buy new shocks and paint the frame! will look so much nicer AND it won’t rust. just did it to my own f250, came out great. i used rust oleum bedliner
Also cannot wait for the front end swap, it’s weird seeing a 7.3 front end and hearing a 6,0
Can wait for that Mazda B2200
Awesome tires! Cant wait new front of bus
You should fab your own sidestep and that's some nice tuck in the rear.
Gingium you should take the rear fender flares off because if you do it would make it look more lifted in the back with the new tires
*New tires look so good! Can't wait to see front swap! So hyped, and also amazing video!*
Thank you
You just made my day by commenting this! You are the best!
Ya; them tires a awesome! Now to make it 4x4
So pumped that the bus doesn’t look like a baby deer anymore. Also, can’t wait for the front end swap. Gonna look sick!
Once my dad's overlanding VW bus is finished I'm very interested to see if that or your adventure bus would go further in certain areas
Looks good! I like how beefy they look.
Those tyres look amazing and you could make a step from the old one
When you get the front end conversion that thing is going to look soooooooo good keep up the work
My cousin and I have a Obs ford 7.3 f350, these tires would be awesome on the new dually rims were getting
They look absolutely amazing and make a roof rack and ladder for the buss😍😍😍
That'll happen eventually!
Make a tube step!! It would give you more fabium experience and it would look sick!
Lift kit time for the adventure bus
Tires look great
Add grass and somewhat of a porch on the roof of the adventure bus
Since you can weld now, remove the sidestep an d build your own tubular step for the bus
@Gingium You should do like a couple inch airbag lift, look up Kelderman. They have better ride, they adjust up and down, they increase your payload, and more!
Time to full send the bus and offroad ths shit out of it now
Nubz weight reduction and lighrbar
2wd tho
Eurobeat pre runners are 2wd. Desert racer school bus
Robert Smith yeah i was joking but its all good :)
Now u just gotta put Maguire's gloss on da rims & tires & she'll be ballin.
make a rock-slider style side step out of pipe, it'll look sick!
those tires give the bus a way better stance. just hope that the rear won't rub when towing
The Lex Luthor-look you've got going on still looks damn good on you!
New competition.....how many 'awesome's' can you fit into one vid.
I have a mini schoolie also and I love the tires on the bus. I want to put some new tires on mine also, I am going to go to the bus barn to see what I can get help with...my bus is a food truck in Oregon
At 0:13 trying so hard not to say 'meme review'. Video was brilliant as always. Keep it up.
Get like a 2inch or 4inch body lift for the bus if they even make one and I don't put a light bar on the bus just put some pods where the lights are on the roof
The tires make it look SO BADASS
Remove the step and replace it with a bar ( weld 2 brackets on the bar and bolt those under the door)
Should give it some 48' mud tires and give it bigger shocks and get one of those mountain climbing chain's on the front that a lot of jeeps and truck have and put some uv light on top
well done Caleb, well done.
Don't forget to recalibrate your speedo if you went up in diameter size. It'll affect the speed a little bit.
I need those tires for my school bus that I bought because of you!!!
Build a roof rack for the bus plus a ladder for the back it would be so sick!!!
Wow 😮 tires are nice 👍 on the 🚌
I love all these builds!
Off-road build is sick man..
Does the bus have a limited slip rearend? If not might be something to look into, take our bus up mountain roads with trailer and full size truck on the back haven't had a traction issue yet
Side step in some kind of chrome like finish would be cool. Though maybe it would not go well with the bus. Need a firetruck build...Or a red truck.....:P
looks awesome, the rims need a bit of a refresh tho
A 3 ton jack will lift one corner of the bus. 10,000lbs ÷ 4 =2,500lbs per corner of the bus. If you leave all 3 other wheels on the ground, your 3 ton jack should easily lift one corner of the bus no problem.
You should do amp research steps that come down when you open the door. Just tiny little steps. They hold lots of weight too!
The wheels look dope on the bus
Remove the step. Add a tubular style step. It'll look great with the new bumper you're getting.
