Bibhash Sarmah We increasd air and fuel flow very slightly. So this will not have an effect on power or fuel efficiency unless your vehicle idles a lot.

Now you can give them a lesson on how to adjust.
You can adjust idles in throttle cables, if you turn the air screw counterclockwise you are making the fuel mixture lean and it cause piston breaks,you can only adjust aircrew unless you are using a programable ecu😁 i work in Yamaha as a chief mechanic.

That screw is made of plastic and its broken on my bike. Please someone tell me where can I buy it. I tried to buy but its not available anywhere.
It's a very difficult to source screw. Only Yamaha Authorized dealers will be able to provide.
Worst case scenario, you have to replace the throttle body.

It's the v2 model and has fuel injection system. For a carbureted engine, there will be a fuel screw.

While running around 40 to 50 km speed
Bike gets knocking or missing issue at the same time eco indication also gets off.
Low speed and high speed no issue.
Please solve this problem.
Replace the spark plug and see.

What does this control, the fuel intake or air ?
Just opens/closes the throttle slide to maintain a certain RPM. The AF mixture in always maintained by the ECU.
bro, i have fzs v2, problem is sometimes bike dont start until i have to give throttle, even after i recently changed battry, ant air screw, so can u suggest me what to do?..

Clean the throttle body, replace the spark plug and also clean the injector.
Check if the temperature sensor is connected properly with the plug.
Clean the fuel tank and fill fresh petrol.
If all this doesn't help, it can be due to a choked fuel filter inside the tank. Then you will have to remove the fuel pump and clean everything.

Like in carburettor dont you have air fuel ratio screw and idle rpm screw. I see that below the throttle body there is a small nut which can be used to adjust rpm as well. It has to be adjusted with a hex/allen key. I am confused on why there are two ways to adjust rpm. Can you please clear this ?
EFI engines have the computer (ECU) which constantly measures the air intake temperature / pressure (throught MAP Sensor) and the exhaust oxygen levels using the O2 sensor. Based the the pressure, temperature, oxygen levels, it decided the amount of fuel to be mixed in the intake air using the injector. This process happens extremely quickly and the ECUs are capable to running 50-100 cycles in a second for achieving the perfect mix. So adjustment of af mixture is completely out of question as it's preset inside the ECU.
The only thing that's adjustable in our non-ride-by-wire throttle bodies is the idle RPM which is shown in this video. For bikes that have ride by wire, the idle RPM is also company preset and cannot be altered.
I have a problem with my fazer 2.0 just changed the battery recently because I a haven’t used for over 4 months after the battery change and when I start the motor bike it is automatically revving really hard I’m glad I put it on neutral other wise it would have run off. Anyways is there any way to fix this ?. Thanks
Let it fully warm up for like 5-10 mins and see what's it behaving like. If it still keeps revving, see if the throttle cable is stuck, else check the idle screw.
Turn your handle left and right to check the throttle cable.

bro my bike is fz ver 2.0 after first service they raised idle rpm from 1.5 to 2 after soo many days i changed it to 1.5 is any problem is there in that and fzs idle rpm is 1500 know?

Felix Lopez No change in mileage. Idle RPM doesn't play any significant role in fuel efficiency.

Bike not starting can be due to a different reason. Increase the RPM by rotating counter clock wise for around 5-10 rounds and start the bike. Then again start the adjustment.

Is it the same on the 2nd generation (2016) FZ150i ? I don´t have the manual unfortunately. My bike seems to idle at a slightly low RPM value and I wanna try increasing it but no idea how to get it done.
It's on the right side of the bike in Fz16 v1.
How to get top speed in 1/2/3 gears
Replace AirFilter
Replace Sparkplug
Change Engine oil
Clean and lubricate the drive chain
Inflate the tires to correct pressure
Whack open the throttle in every gear till you redline and ride it like you have stolen it.
But always ride safely and never over speed. Make sure you do everything in a controlled environment and not on public roads .

Hey man,so i tried this on my r15 v3 bs4,and turning it clockwise or anti clockwise (atleast 3-4) turns didn't do anything,the rpm was same.

Something is stuck inside, service your throttle body. Start by cleaning the TB, follow the video in my channel to DIY.

Bro my fz v2 rpm increase to 2_2.5k while turning fully right. I noticed that the accelerator is being applied automatically while checking the round thing below rpm screw.how to fix this bro? Do I need to change the accelerator cable??
Adjust the throttle cable freeplay and your issue will be resolved

@@MototechWanderer any screw that will increase rpm on turning clockwise is idle screw, there are 2 screws on my R15 Fi , one is for controlling air (rpm increases on turning anti-clockwise) and one is for opening throttle idle position (idle screw)

You right bro...standard idle for this motorcycle is 1300-1500 rpm. But, why many people set it on 1200 rpm?
They are in false notion of saving fuel with a low idle. It's a myth unless we idle the engine for hours.

I have question for you Bro, maybe you can explain it to me... My FZN150 engine idle always decrease when it going hot condition and it sounds very disturbing me (it sounds like something knocking from engine). Is it normal?
@@bagassriindrantoro6807 the drop in RPM is absolutely normal. The ECU has a temperature sensor which raises the RPM when the engine temperature is low acting like a auto choke. After reaching operating temperature it drops to normal idle RPM.
As far as sound goes the head is a lil noisy after heatup. Also clutch bell noise is present in most Yamahas. It's kind of a characteristic of Yamaha engine.

How to make the bike run rich and not lean
This is a closed loop EFI ... Can't change the AF mixture by any means except reprogramming the ECU.
This screw is broken in my fzv2. Can't adjust it now and it's in lowest possible position and due to the same reason bike stops in traffic.
Either try lathe on it. Last option will be to replace the throttle body.
Take a second opinion from the service center.

- My bike's RPM adjusting screw is damaged as you can see in below pic.
Can any pl suggest solution on below..
1. Can I get switch installed or I need to replace FI?

Place an order with Yamaha for the screw. It can be replaced.
Abe galat idle speed set kar rhe ho.. always maintain 1400-1500 RPM nahi to battery ki life 2 saal se zyada nahi rahegi.
1300-1500 RPM ... Book me mentioned hai. Wahi set kiya.
@@MototechWanderer always use Tachometer device, not the bike's one because that is not digital as there are only lines blinking on it.
@@AnkitKumar-qb7rw I work with the approximation of the bike's tacho. Each blinking line is around 200 RPMs.
