The Malibu connectors are terrible. They are good in dry installations and last through wet seasons. Problem is that when you decide to move them or redesign your light placement these connectors no longer hold contact. As a busy person that only has weekends to do things, these connectors can take up a full weekend if not more when you try to fix them. I'm going to look for the other type of connector you showed here. Great video. Thanks!
Have you seen our blue connector? We really like this one. It's a little difficult to remove at first but once you get the grove you can remove 'em fairly quickly. It is also one of the most secure connectors we have found. You can check it out here ➡️ www.totaloutdoorlighting.com/quick-outdoor-landscape-lighting-blue-wire-connector-moisture-resistant-gel.html We also have a video on it as well here ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/TzqaAHytgA8/v-deo.html
Great job guys. I bought some Malibu fixtures with their patented quick bayonet connectors - had no idea how they worked. Now I do, thanks to you.
Thank you from London.
Such a helpful video.
Thank you Total Outdoor Lightning!
Use copper tubing as a wire nut then dip in flexseal, best method I've found but does require dry time...
Thank you for sharing! We love to hear about how others are solving wire connection problems 🙂
Anyone here ever try the Blazing Snaploc BVS2 ?
electrical tape deteriorates overtime outdoors unless it's outdoor rated of course (dont think ive seen any)
