I personally thought that this video was quite entertaining. Who cares if he "kill stole". The good thing about this video is he played his hero in an unorthodox way and did it very well. When it comes down to it, he still beat people who were ranked at a similar level, won the game, and it turned into a very entertaining video. What is so wrong with having fun in a game, that is why you play after all. What bothers me is all the hate in the comments just because he doesn't fit into the cookie cutter build. Great video IMO, keep up the good work.

for those saying this is scripted, know that you can build mine groups just like unit groups for broodmother or chen. You can select which groups detonate instead of nuking the whole pile. it is pro - but you can do it.

At 5:15, multiple bombs are exploding and none are being selected and he's disconnected. He's not a good techies, he just had his whole team able to help him blow up certain mines at certain times.

***** Lol old school Techies was just like that, back in Dota 1 when the Detonate button didn't exist at all. You had to do it all manually by binding certain traps to certain number keys. Thanks for bringing back such good memories :D

To me, there's always a delay between any 2 mines exploding, no matter if I assigned them to groups, manually selected them or when using Techies' built in manual detonate... But, as I mentioned before, even if he's using a hack to blow up mines, he's not when it comes down to team fights. And you have to admit he plays much better than your average Techies when he's team fighting - chasing enemies down, placing his mines to damage enemies while the battle is raging, not suiciding up first... He really plays well!

By using control groups you don't need to have your cursor on the bombs. If you're really good with Techies you can set just a certain number of bombs in a stack to a control group and detonate them only. This guy isn't using scripts, as you can see he actually uses force staff himself.Raptor767

Overall ok gameplay. Carrying with techies in public games is very fun, but you wouldn't be able to do that by far. Those players just walk into the bombs. With zeus on team. It's embarrassing to call yourself best techies if you're owning bots, practically. Although the gameplay was ok, numerous plays wouldn't work out at high mmr, like pushing people into bombs with force staff. They tend to turn a lot and it's extremely hard to get an opportunity. Not to mention that high mmr players will never engage a teamfight in the open versus techies like that. The truth is that you ks-ed a lot and if they had a good bkb reliant carry, you would be down in 2 seconds.
They did, At one point in the mid lane they tried taking out the mines. Then techies just pushes one of them into the minefield and blow him up. Later, when they are pushing mid, they clearly have detection, as creeps are trying to kill mines, making them blow. That's why Techies is placing mines behind trees, so they won't see them.

Yeah we can't see the bomb below the flag but we can see that flag itself without any true sight items and avoid it. Plus flag has 200++ cd and 100++ cd after flag dissapear. They can't possibly place more than 1 flag at different place because cooldown is too long so necronomicon still usefull for check another remote mine at lane or bomb at high ground because necronomicon can walk. And yeah killer doesn't need to be carry but last hit any hero he met at teamfight even he is not a carry? come on bro think about it again, how about our carries? they are doomed. This guy is using a script that detonates only the neccessary amount of remote mines to kill someone automatically. notice how he places tons and tons in one place and they blow up without him doing anything
who knows, maybe you are right. 0:53 he blows up axe, detonates at least 10 mines, which is 6k damage (-magic resistance), axe has little below 2k health. He does detonate few mines even after axe dies, if it was a script I don't think that would happen tho.
Sure he did well in this game but please god, techies players, do not mimic this playstyle. I cannot find a way to justify farming ancients as techies over having any presence whatsoever for the early game. The eul's and forcestaff are fantastic and he used them really well. But the bloodstone? Dont buy bloodstone. It's garbage. Yeah it gives you mana but mana management is like the one thing you'll actually be doing with your time on this hero that isnt put mines in places. Dont do dis.
Well, considering, allready having soul ring and mana boots, getting bloodstone is quite easy. After getting euls, aghs and force staff, you are going to get travels anyway, might as well take a cheap bloodstone at that point. Helps you survive, increases your mana regen and gives you another deny if suicide is on cooldown. Also heals your allies if you need to suicide mid fight.
Okay, if you already have your eul's, forcestaff, ags, AND the game is still going. Yeah, bloodstone is alright then. But too often you see it as a first item or before one of these way better items, and even though you already has soulring and arcane boots it is still another 3100 gold.
Ks and last hitting hero is different. Ks is mean when some one war one on one with enemy hero than u come and kill that guy. That call ks. Read the dota forum. If many war that not call ks. It call last hit. People sick of ks and i hate ks !!!!
This guy is not that great. He sits in the back and steals kills with his ult mines, and the Zeus never uses his W to check for them. The enemy team never focused him once. The enemy team also had a shit draft. The only reason he is number 1 on dotabuff is because he makes some of his games that he lost not count on the website. Anyone can take one game where they did really well, take out certain clips and make it look like you're a good player.
