If it's off center that was probably on me. I find the camera is really accurate, more so then others I've used.

I just got the F1U and I am having issues lining things up - My camera definitely seems off.

@@cindywhite9754 oh oh what does the support say? Did you make the laser calibration?

The Ulta has a camera and framing option. You an line it up in the software with the camera but then frame to see the location on your piece. Calibration is also a good idea if you're experiencing issues.

What does Release Compound vector do? I seen you click on it before processing when doing the Airpod case.

My mouse may have hovered but I didn't use that for the case. That function can break up an SVG into smaller parts so you can edit

Thank you, good tutorial. Can anyone help me with this. I would use F1 ultra to engrave letters to a computer keyboards (plastic) that are blank (no letters on them from factory). I gather this is possible with F1 ultra and i would like to know how to program all the different letters and asign position to the F1 ultra, so that it engraves all the keys on the keyboards precisely and I can just do a batch of them one after another?

That sounds like a cool project. You could use the conveyor for this, a keyboard it a little big for the regular working area. You'd have to create a jig so you can place the keyboards in the same place every time. Then use the camera to help place each letter on the keyboard. You can save the file and the jig to rerun with each new piece.

WHERE in the world can you find material settings for the F1U?? Xtool has NOT added the machine it their materials setting website page - Limited settings in the XCS materials library - EXTREMELY Frustrating! oh! and I DID NOT RECEIVE MY SAMPLE MATERIAL PACK!

Since the Ultra is brand new not every material is in the library but many are there. Make sure your software is updated to the latest version. It's always a good idea to run a test array on a material that isn't listed for the best results.
