I've been using this torch out here on the farm for months now, and I absolutely love it. I use it up close on low, then can crank it up to see anything and everything on the farm. Olight crushed it with this one 🔦

I'm going to pick up the green version of the Baton Turbo while the sale is on. It will make a nice companion for my Warrior Nano. One with more throw, the other with more flood. They are almost exactly the same length and they use the same battery.
Please, try the 16340 from Baton3 or 4 in that extender and see if they work! I have 5 of them for my Baton 3&4 Premium. It would be awesome to work on Baton Turbo!
@@Snapper314 thank you. Ive got some feedback that the 550mAh from Baton 3 does not work, the + pole is smaller... Anyway, i intend to buy more powerful 16340, around 1000mAh. Or maybe Olight 16350 will be soon available! Thanks again.
Hows the Baton turbo go uo against the wurkkos ts12 since both lights use a sft-25r emitter and have smooth polished reflectors and are very compact. I'm a huge fan of both but would love to see them side by side.
@@PardonMyEnglish I'm surprised it's a very nice light. I'm a big olight fan and have the Baton turbo on the way but my ts12 with the sft-25r and a 14500 vapecell h10 is really powerful I will be surprised if the Baton turbo throws as far only because most of my non olights usually have more output cause olight sets the lights up to be close to child friendly cause of some of there customers complain about the light getting hot 😆. But I bet the olight will have longer turbo runtimes and all they usually do I'll be surprised if it doesn't.
@@onedirection3510 sadly, i dont think its possible. The head is huge compared with Baton 3 or 4. The case should be very thick, losing the portability.
In my experience the base is easy to clean. The only issue I’ve had with an Olight charger was that the status LED on one didn’t work. It came with the original Obulb years ago but all the others I’ve used work fine. Hope that information is useful and thanks for watching!
@PardonMyEnglish I asked Copilot and this is what it said: Typically, a red light on the Olight MCC cable indicates that the device is charging, while an orange light might suggest a different status, such as a lower charging current or a different charging phase. Once the device is fully charged, the light usually turns green.
I have a question. Would you be interested in buying a new Wuben X2 in copper? Or a Nitecore edc27 UHI? My wife bought me an Olight Warrior mini 3 so I’m not going to carry those other two. I’ve actually never carried the Wuben. I strongly dislike it.
@@PardonMyEnglish No problem. If anyone is interested I’ll let them go for a good deal. The Wuben is just going to sit in my closet if not. I would love to recoup some of my money. I would let the Wuben X2 in copper go for $60.
@@PardonMyEnglish I had a really bad experience with the olight arkfeld so i bought a workkos light similar to the baton ..half the price after coupon . it is bright and so far i am pleased with the results
I think Olight hit a home run with this light.
Agreed

But the light was released like a day ago with reviewers getting it a few days prior?

Nice beam and 2 mins on Turbo 👍🏽 Thx for the Review.

Good competition for the cheaper and longer throwing wurkkos ts11
And for 10 bucks you can buy extension tube to use 18650 batteries. Much longer battery life if wanted. And Anduril 2.0 UI.
Wurkkos TS11 doesn’t reach its Candela or lumens claim based on ZeroAirs review, to likely the Baton Turbo will out throw that light
It's competition for the ts12 since both the baton and ts12 run an sft-25r emitter and both run a polished smooth reflector no tir.
👍Nice James. Just one correction it will work with other 18350 batteries, just wont charge them.
Oh that’s great! Thank you
Damn that thing throws..
Nice Little Light
Ordering the OD Green version.

Good idea. Unfortunately I don’t have any 16340s yet.
I just tried this and IT WORKS! The 16340 from my Baton 4 works perfectly in my Baton Turbo with the Sleeve!

Have one on the way. Has anyone had problems with the charging system? Does the magnetic charging base easily get dirty & hinder charging?

Does anyone know what it means when the led on the mcc is orange (not red or green)?
Woah, I haven’t seen that yet but I’ll try to find out.

Does it use a glass or plastic lens?
Glass, I believe.
Does it get the same output with CR 123?
Good question. I’ve heard that it is less but I cannot confirm since I don’t have any CR123s
@@PardonMyEnglish Well on that note, I’m wondering if it would take 16340 3.7 V? 🤔 if so that might bring it back up to comparable output.
Good thought
can you lock it?
Great question. Yes, it does have lockout! Hold switch for 2 seconds to both lock and unlock.
olight is usually overpriced item compared to other similar items
What alternative to the Baton Turbo do you prefer?
