The Ultimate Girls' Night Out in LA with Helen's Wine Shop: Chef's Night Out
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 жов 2017
- Helen Johannesen, owner of Helen's Wine Shop and beverage director of Jon & Vinny's Restaurant Group, takes us out for the ultimate girls' night out in Los Angeles. The night begins with lots of drinks and seafood at Son of a Gun and then moves on to Lucques in West Hollywood, where more wine is consumed (as expected when you own a wine shop). The group then heads to Luv2Eat Thai Bistro for crab curry, crispy pork, and more. The night ends back at Helen's apartment, as any good night should, with grilled cheeses and rosé.

The grilled cheeses weren’t burnt enough
Didn't she say grilled Jeezus?!? Oh yeah, and I love a little dog hair with my burnt af grilled cheese. LoL
I laughed out loud to this. Goddammit. Hahahaha.
It's gotta be black and crunchy all the way through! Pfft... layer of charcoal on the grilled cheese, dishwater boring grandma's night out, a freaking *rosé* like it's not candysauce... what the hell, yo?
The ultimate guide to everything wrong with LA
Clicks on video ---> sees like:dislike ratio ---> pauses video to read the comments for a double whammy of entertainment XD
This guy youtubes
"it tastes like rolling down a hill in summer" ....and im out.
IKR this is where you need Action Bronson to be like "this tastes like waking up new years day in a candycane crackhouse without a hangover with fifty extra bucks in your pocket and the blunt you didn't smoke still in your right hand"
Came for the wine, stayed for the cringe
I went to culinary school with fern. She was one of the top students so seeing her succeed and being in a lot of different UA-cam shows isn’t much of a surprise.
Fletcher seems like a great dog.
He really does!! If I had a dog like that, I would give him treats all the time. He would get ham, carrot, small fish, tomato, cheese, sirloin and also crab!! But if he bite me in the hand he get no crab for 1 week. :(
Yeah you can really tell he's a great dog from the 2.5 seconds that he was in the vid
Yes he provided a bit of taste or hair to those grilled cheese sandwiches.
If you have to ask someone if they're famous, then they're probably not famous.
This one's gonna be a no for me, dawg.
That ending killed it for me. Thanks.
Work hard play hard .. in your own time...
Wow.
yeah what does that mean exactly
work hard at work and then i don't care what you do outside of work
Pretty fucked. That gives me a red flag as to what the management is like in these businesses
I clicked to see the like/dislike ratio. I was not disappointed
Where is my pizza guy frank?
My man!!!!
Omg I’m literally obsessed with [...]
Noooope
Whenever I want to feel better about my own life, I watch this for a pick-me-up.

Thought this was chef's night out? Where are the chefs??
Wow I don't think she burned the grilled cheese enough 😂
Can't believe I made it through 4 minutes of this shite
*Congrats, I couldn't watch longer than 3min! You have my respect brother watching this shit 1min more!!*
dont watch it then
barnaboy101 then how would we know if it was shit if we never watched it?
The joke is on you then. You missed grilled cheese sandwiches and the dog.
Is it possible to tell you’re going to despise a person after hearing them speak only 5 words...? The answer is yes and this video is proof!
Laychay day teegray hahahahahahahhaaaaa
Can the San Andreas fault just break off please
Best thing in this episode was the tuna ball w/ avocado and the Dog 🐶
Did anyone notice she pet the nice dog and processed to make the grill cheeses hahaha "grill cheese a la fur" also she needed help to make 4 grill cheeses lmao that or she was afraid her girls would hit on her dude ha!
It’s so sad because it seems like none of the ladies night out equals the boys night out. We have to find women that can have more fun than the ones that they have presented. Women are bad ass.
OH, but the women chef's of Copenhagen know how to kick it! - ua-cam.com/video/vfHgiFb98Gs/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Munchies
This is as painful as watching Serena Dai in Eater videos. And, y'all, that's saying something.
"Wine is so much more then what's in the glass... Wine can bring people together"
And... Im out.
That avocado tuna ball looked lit tho
Chefs night out = burnt grilled cheeses smh
How can you be so boring with such a great concept?
New record, made it 53 seconds...peace
Could they be any less a Chef? wow look at those dislikes. People really don't like Winers Night Out lol
Ok... the dislikes are justified.
Yeah girl keep it professional...lol lol lol that's funny!
Possibly the worst video munchies has posted lmao i stopped at 8 seconds i couldn't take it

And the next day, we all had loud farts and diarrhea. Hehe girls night.

My kinda ladies night. xx from Montreal
Can't she see the grilled cheese are burnt.
How did I know this would have more dislikes than likes before I even clicked it?
I actually came to this video from another video, because it even had hate in the comments on that video.
AMAZING AWESOME LOL LOL LOL
I just skipped forward to Fletcher! BUT WTF did she call say Monterey Jack is Verizon American cheese!!?
you telling me wine is better than pepsi? no way wine is better than pepsi!

"LADIES NIGHT, WHAAAT" jesus...
Well, the food looked good.
So.. where was the chef?
I want to throw up extremely slowly...
Why so many dislikes? They all seem pretty rad
IT'S A LOCKDOWN BABY
I like to drink a bottle 700 yards from my house in a valley so I can shoot the bottle from my porch after! #458socomsuppressed
Behold the next Mass shooter...☝️

Jeff Williams
My great-great-great granddaddy was harvesting this lands while your Grandaddy was starving to death overseas.
avocado toast of wine tasters here
i'm a lady and love wine and food. but this was just so dull
For all these chefs night out, I wonder if they'd go all out on drinks like that if munchies weren't paying, that stuffs expensive
btw restaurant people really do take care of one another. discounts all 'round.
definitely the most boring one so far but to each their own! CHEERS!
美味しそなwine🍷
ultimate boring ass night out in LA.
I think its cool. Stop the hate, at least they enjoyed in their own way.
who would have thought not having a top lip in LA was a thing?
that 'lobster roll' looked like pureed leftovers
Comments so funny
Vice needs to stick to there Brooklyn home base
"A Jew from Brooklyn" needs to learn the difference between "there" and "their"
the hate is real
i bet you could give them "mad dog" and they wouldnt know the difference
wants me to watch bbq Pit boys
Lol why is her friend dressed up like Fred Flinstone?
Damn, her boyfriend looks like he lives under a bridge.
SHE BURNT THE GFRILLED CHEESES
none of these people like each other or have any friends
HAHAHA a Munchies video with more Dislikes than Likes .....wow, and i can see why!
They look well tipsy in the ending
LOVE THIS
Chef's Night Out, featuring: No Chefs
Jesse Powers there was one chef in the beginning... but they left without her and just screamed "snacks snacks snacks!" When she was there....
This was a little harsh on the eyes like peeling s onion those grilled cheeses sheesh
Hah she burnt them
They don't take their time with the wine, its like they just smell it for the camera and then take a quick sip. Repeat till your, like, drunk, right? And yeah, I also immediately switched from the video to the comments bahahaa wtf is a wine expert?
WHY SO MUCH DISLIKE LOL¬!
I honestly feel bad for Helen, as this was hands down the worst Chef's Night Out of all time--future or past.
Not the best one munchies
What's up with americans always using huuuuuge glasses of wine :)
Reading the comments here feels like a case study on why Hollywood chooses to make movies that fail the Bechdel test. Yikes, such hate.
Following a wine expert instead of a chef hurt this episode, since cooking is so much more visual and thus suited to a video series. I'm sure the wines she picked were good, but a glass of wine looks like any other glass of wine. Next time, if the main person is a wine person, there should also be a professional chef in the cadre who does the cooking at the end.
Idk, dude. I don't really think it had anything to do with whether they're chefs or not, but it was their whole attitude and atmosphere as a whole that made this hard to watch. Felt like they were trying too hard to conform and understand cultural concepts. The first minute had me cringing my heart out, why the heck do they care about military jargon? Sure as hell hope they weren't going to start saying "Hooyah" in a public bar.
This is a very insightful comment.
I have no heard of the bechdel test before. Indeed it's a shame only half or of the movies fail that test.
Watching these girls talk was a horrible experience. I'd never pay to see something like that.
No, honestly what got me was when they hit the bit with the chick in the backseat drawling "when I go to your house I feel so *daaangerooous*," because... wait for it... we pass a nonalcoholic stripclub on the way there. Seriously? And then charcoal briquettes while she claims to be a home cook. They didn't even try to pay attention to the wine, she uncorked a freaking rosé and that was the only thing. It's not a good show. I know a shitton of women who rock a night out but these are not them.
one of the most pretentious CNO yet...
This isn't even close to my real favorite mafia. and i like wine tests .
alex lol
high key lovved this episode tho
Brit Marling's brief appearance is the only saving grace in this steaming pile of horse sheeit
I just cringed out of my shoes.
jesus christ, why all this hate?
I have second hand embarrassment for these broads
haven't even seen the video, but seen the amount of dislikes. should i watch it??
let it play while you read the comments trust
geez... kill me now
super lame, and what a missed opportunity to show the business. instead we get burnt grilled cheese.
They have had better episodes
sharing a plate? what are you, a girl?
Is it really chef's night out if none of them are chefs?... I loved the video from Copenhagen you guys just dropped, but this one is just flat out boring. Their disconnection from the complexity of the craft shows through in every scene. The thing that makes this show special is the insight you get from the people who've attained a certain height in the restaurant industry showcasing their favorite places and expressing their passion for food in a city they love, after working to the top of that industry, in that city, after being inspired by those places. This is just a group of mildly obnoxious people restaurant-hopping in LA.
She is literally one of the most influential wine professionals in the world.
