I miss my Note 7. It went until I took it back without a single scratch outside the case. And my goodness it was the best designed phone I'd ever seen.
That's pretty bad considering all of the best care you could take has been taken and it's still like this. I find it extra ironic because even in person it just looks like the plastic old cheap androids were made out of with a little extra polish on it.
Yeah I bit the bullet and went with an S7 Edge whilst I wait for the next gen phones. I figured since I have a 256GB SD card and GearVR through the promotions, plus $30 Samsung pay and $100 discount on the Edge it'd be waste to go with anything else. It's a good phone but those people who kept saying it's a Note 7 without a stylus need a good slap! The Note 7 was in a different league altogether!
rowee270 yeah definitely. My mother and I went with (and we're a little forced due to a Costco deal) to go with since it had some similarity but we quickly noticed a lot of the things that werent on the edge. it's a great phone and all but the note was entirely a different samsung.
What is the point of buying the jet black version if you buy it for the looks then put a case on it? but if you dont use a case it will scratch up and ruin the look, seems really pointless to me.
+Uzziel Ruiz that thing is now illegal in the United States to bring on a plane. It's a federal crime now. Not a good phone comparison at this point. It's beyond dead.
| Volex Rezoh | if it was going to happen it would had already happened, plus my phone doesn't get that hot while charging only a regular phone temperatures, and it cools down fast as soon as I take it off my awesome Wireless fast charger, and my phone is super fast. 😎
In everywhere except the U.S, iphones are overpriced. That being said, I think the 600$+ flagships are overpriced compared to something like the Oneplus 3 or Moto Z Play.
Overpriced is right whos dumb enough to pay that for a phone ? some of the cheaper phones have much better specs lol I feel sorry for iphone owners they strut around as if their phones are diamonds when in fact their rockin a rock. lol if they only new how crappy their phone was.
Ok what is it with people buying these outrageously priced phones and NOT buying a case or scree protector ( I understand you were doing a test) but it amazes me how people buy these phones crack the screen or scratch it to hell and back and never think to buy a case before they take it out. I have a $200 phone and I have a case and screen protector and it's been fine in the 10 months I've owned it and I've dropped it a couple of times.
This is why I was always fine with phones with nice plastic removable backings. I have a note 4 and never use a case. I could be rough with it and never worry about the backing getting all scuffed up or scratched.
I found the best solution in my situation as i do also own a Jet Black iPhone, was a clear case. I use a case regardless of any color iPhone, since i am afraid of cracking the screen, and i bought a clear case (that was optimized for the jet black), and i have been more than happy. It still shows off the beautiful color and design while also bringing added protection for drops. While it doesn't feel the same in hand as carrying the phone with no case, I have no worries about dropping it. I have also seen that the red and white apple silicone cases look really nice with the phone as well.
+Leibo R Raibstein the entire point of this video is to update people on how it scratches and how much not that it does scratch. We all know that much.
Erica Griffin Ah; gotcha! Seems like any case or bumper is going to scratch it as well, unless it's got a soft liner. Even then, I'd be worried about ANY dirt getting in there.
+Jawad Siddiqi no, silly boy. I just started using this bumper to show you for this video. It hasn't been used until now. Scratches were well already there
From personal experience the scratches at the bottom comes from the camera hump tilting the phone (on the table) :| happened to all my iPhones from iPhone 6 and up
Chris_ Robby is this your job? You try to find apple releated videos and call people isheeps?? What is your problem? People buy whatever they want with their money, no one called you a samshit if you buyed a samsung or any other fireworks-like phones. Fuck off
There's no reason we should have to put cases on our phones. There are plenty of scratch proof materials they could have used. There's also plenty of materials that still look good when they scatch like brushed metal.
u buy a phone for which u need a case so nobody sees your "expensive phone"... btw u said u use the macbook 12 cause of the small size and on the other hand u are using a iphone plus model....
MH S it really is not that big! I was regretting my online order until it came on friday. I got used to the size quite quickly and comparing it to my iphone 5 its crazy that I used to use that sized phone, i dont even have big hands. Its just a little bit bigger than the 6 but compared to the 5 its quite big. But you get used to it so quickly really, so i dont think people will ever stop buying it
Samuel Torres Samuel the thing is that the S7 EDGE has a 5.5 inch screen and is quite smaller in size, even the Note 7 with a 5.7 inch is smaller in size and it's all because Apple knows people will buy their crap that they released the same phone as iPhone 6, it's like Nokia before its downfall would release N73, then N73 Music edition and finally N73 Internet edition lol they changed the color with one and button in the other lol and that's the same with Apple they are releasing a rebranded iPhone 6 since 2014. I for one would take the upgrade programme or not buy at all
I used an iPhone 3G for 4 years which has a 3.5-inch screen. Then I got the iPhone 5 (4 inches). Back when the 6 Plus came out, I thought that I would never like a Phablet size phone. I tried out my friend's 6 Plus and I was hooked. I can't ever go back to any phone screen that's LESS than 5.5 inches.
Anyone remember when drop-testing was a thing? Now they can't even stay in a pocket without minor damage. Both manufacturers and reviewers tend to get stuck in loops in which certain properties become all important, like thinness. I'd rather have a thicker phone that can roll with the punches. Beauty and strength don't have to be mutually exclusive.
This painting suffer more with a case because particles are trapped between the cell and the case and this produces an effect of sandpaper or abrasion, is better to treat you carefully without case.
I've had mine for 3 weeks and it's fine. People are just overly dramatic. Black luxury cars show scratches and those are way more expensive than an iPhone. Mine has no visible or deep scratches and it looks amazing.
Here is what to do, soon as you take it out of the box, put a full body screen protector on it, then put it into a slimline see through case and there you go! It will always look gorgeous and scratch free! And you don't need to worry! There is a great looking see through case on Amazon that even has jet black glossy edges so it just looks like it's the phone on it own with no case on and obviously it's see through backing 👍🏻
I have owned this phone for a little over a month. My experience with it is pretty nice. I currently use a blue Apple leather case and a black leather sleeve from Harber London. Also the phone itself is wrapped in a Ghost Armor clear skin. I like using the phone naked so I mostly have it in the sleeve. When I want to be a bit more "careless" with it then I use the case. Its pretty cool how my experience with the phone changes quite a bit depending on if I use the case or the sleeve. In a way I like the feeling of having to be careful with my phone cuz it gives me a sense of satisfaction that I have this premium luxurious device. With the iPhones I've had in the past, I've never had that experience since they didn't have the jet black option. Just wanna add this comment cuz the majority of people I see on UA-cam who review the iPhone don't seem to share my opinion.
+Hirudin no, but seeing what happened to it just in and out of my pocket, I'm totally sure that would happen just swiping it across a table or having it rub in any way!
Erica Griffin after over a year I'm finally using my s6 edge naked. I love its rear side but haven't seen it except when swapping cases. Don't you think that we only keep them pristine for the next owner? That's sad, don't you think?
DON'T GO FOR THE MATTE BLACK! Yes it scratches a lot, but I LOVE mine all scratched up. It looks like a stainless high-end watch, it's supposed to be scratched. Not to mention the grip of this finish. The aluminum backs always make me feel like I'm gonna drop it. The Jet Black has such great grip. Stick with it, without a case!
He does have a point, although I wouldn't have used those words. At this price point, Apple could have done a little bit better on the materials used. If Gorilla Glass prevents (the majority of) scratches, Apple could have used something like that for the back. The GPS problem seems to be something more people are suffering from. My neighbor recently exchanged her 7 Plus for a new one because of it, but she now has a 7 Plus that has frequent signal drops. There should be an OTA to address both GPS and cellular issues, but I don't think it's been released here yet. Maybe it fixes yours though, if you've been able to get the update.
Hi Erica. Great review. I got the 7 plus matte black and I love it, unfortunately my phone has a receiver issue. As soon as I took it out of the box and set it up I heard the crackling on the receiver when I placed my first call. After many headaches with Apple they finally agreed to swap it out for another one. How is the call quality on your phone?
Is it just me or is the phone, like, okay? It still looks sexy as hell. I can't even see the abrasions when she didn't flash a LED over it. After a month, too? It's actually much better than what I expected.
+Big Mo that thing is contraband now on US flights. It's impossible to buy. I don't have one and won't ever again. No one will. It's over. No point reviewing it but please check out my send off video I made for the Note 7.
Never say never. Samsung still has a few thousands (if not millions) lying around somewhere that were produced but never sold plus the few millions or so that are being returned without ever failing. They will end up on the black market soon enough if not already for $hundreds off.
I always use my phone with a skin on it. That way I don't have to worry about scratches. I love matte finishes on phones. Stay away from shiny glossy glass and stuff. I am currently using a blackberry passport with a carbon fiber skin on it and it looks amazing
Dharkos that's literally only because samsung has many model options. some very cheap, so people with not a lot of money can buy a cheap samsung from walmart. that's why so many are sold.
Great Review, I like your videos, I am now a Fan, I just Bought Jet Black IPhone 7 Plus 256GB, I normally don't use cases, But I really love this phone and want to keep it looking beautiful, I am not concerned with reselling it, I will keep it after Upgrading next time, After all I am a UA-camr and like Tech stuff and want the latest and gratest, good luck to you on your channel
Android is an OS, it is an App Store, it is an ecosystem. It doesn't matter that many companies sell Android phones. People that like Android can choose phones from $50 to $800, that is choice and that is good. The Android ecosystem is destroying Apple in the marketplace, worldwide. I can say that in USA, many people view Apple with contempt and absolutely avoid their products.
I like your stuff-would like to see more videos on random topics like the one you did with your husband and friend about your kuerig;that was good 👍You're always great! Thanks!
She asked for comments. This is a silly video for clicks. Apple is using the same frame that's Three years old now & upping the price to a $1,000. If this was any other company, people would. e complaining! She's even talked about competition being overpriced. Common sense says use a fucking case on a glossy iPhone.
Scratches after a month? Really??? You guys get upset about scratches and I've been using the same old phone for over 5 years and while luring over these new ones but guess what? I can't afford them cause I have other things to pay for and it just boils my blood to see people who know nothing abtech owning these beasts.... You guys do tons of giveaways but the winner is always some ungrateful bastard. I feel pity about myself and the fact that it's always gonna be a dream to own or even touch one of these devices. Life is just sad.. 😖
+Erica Griffin Better with matt black but I don't think changing it will necessarily mean the hissing sound will go away. My niece had it on her iPhone 7 plus, went back to the store and kudos to the staff, with no argument they replaced it immediately. Unfortunately the replacement was also hissing and we have been reading that this could be dangerous and maybe a symptom of the problem that caused the explosion that injured a mans face in China. I saw the original Chinese video and you could see how the screen exploded back in his face, he even had bits of glass embedded in his skin as well as burns on his hand and face. After seeing that we decided it was safer to return her replacement phone for a full refund and she bought a different brand. It's not generally known but Apple use the same battery suppliers who supplied Note7 and it does make me wonder what really is causing that hissing sound. Anyway, be careful, don't take chances, don't charge it unattended and take it back soon.
There are numerous cases out there that are a form of clear that will still show off the nice color. This ranges from a $15 case at Best Buy to a $60 case you can find on amazon. I feel like it takes no more common sense handling than any other nice object one might own that they don't want to scratch, whether it be jewelry, a watch, or a tablet, whatever.
Who cares about scratches it feels so good in the hand its not slippery like the raw aluminum colors. But like she said if your going to resell it use a case. But really the scratches cant be seen by other people at all only when a lights on it and your inches away from the phone. I love the feel of this phone, hopefully next year apple nails this metal polishing process down so its less prone to the micro abrasions. Good video erica.
Girl...I first wanted the matte black and ended getting jet black. Now that I have the matte black I terribly want my jet black back...I regret switching to matte.
And I am like you with the whole micro scratches...I couldn't STAND THEM but I realized how you can't even see them unless one is scavenging for them with a flash light.
@Erica. You could take out Apple care plus, then you have 2 accidental damage covers, so in a few months time if it gets really bad or before next year selling device on, you can pay the accidental claim excess to Apple and get a new replacement device without scratches .. consider it a jet black insurance policy .....
Thanks for the followup video, scary micro scratches are scary. If I get one of these, it'll be in a clear Spigen Crystal Shell Case from the moment I get it. I love the Jet Black, enough that I want it even though it needs to be protected. Lol
This looks more like a disguised promo for certain cases or bumpers than anything really serious. My S6 Edge+ doesn't scratch under normal conditions, but dropping it might fracture the glass. A lot of these things really come down to how you care about your phone. Any microabrasions that are only visible when magnifying are mostly a total none issue to me even when not relying upon a case. Glass fractures are covered by my insurance, pricey but in case of a glass phone worth it unless you want to carry a broken phone around until the end of contract.
Glad I switched my order to the Black Matte from the Jet Black Delayed my shipping even longer, but wasn't sure I'd like the Jet Black anyway, looks cool in photo's but thought it might look like cheap plastic and it seemed to in the store. Plus you have these scratches to deal with. I saw a video where just putting it into and out of a case will put scratches on it.
Now I regret buying the Jet Black. Not because of OCD but because of resale value. I just ordered a protector for the back. I'm glad I got an Otterbox Defender.
In reality,no one ever stares at the back of their phone all day lol Thats why I always get a folio case for my phones. Folio cases always do the job for me when it comes to protecting my phones, even the cheapest of leather folio cases last for years lol.
Why not put a tempered glass protector on the back ? It protects from the scratches, and glass is a nice feel, although it's sure it is not metal or the polished feel that the phone has but it helps it looking pristine as the first day !
Probably because I've used a case since my first iPhone, the 3GS, continuing to do so doesn't seem annoying. I'm still particular about which color iPhone I choose and Jet Black is my favorite by far. I'll keep it pristine in a case and very much appreciate it's beauty when I do take it out.
I'm sorry, but I'm not buying the claim that the scratched up phone from that tweet is the result of normal usage.
TheInfamous yeah it looks like he slid it across an ice skating rink.
He probably used his iPhone as a hockey puck as well and made a video about it. Like TechRax
Dude's a liar. Haha!
Apple warned you that it scratches easily except the facts that its scratches easily
TheInfamous Yes, & but (well) me too
Damn what did that guy use to clean off the fingerprints? Sand paper??
This has convinced me to get jet black. From what people have said before I expected it to be a lot worse.
Same. Tell me how yours goes. I hope it won't end up too bad at the end of two years
John Smith Hope so too. My plan is to keep it 2 years then sell it to upgrade again.
Everyone knew it was going to scratch, there's even a warning about it on the Apple website. May as well put a slick wrap on it.
SPDTDL Or just buy one that doesn't scratch?
SPDTDL you mean dbrand?
+Sajjad Zulphekari Slick wrap is their competition.
gm92845 not really a competition anymore
Nice try, not gonna buy none of that Slick Wraps/D Brand bullshit.
this phone is not for people who have OCD
like myself
You'd probably die after week of owning this phone.
You can just buy a screen and back protector + a case to make sure it doesn't scratch at all
The back protector scratches and erases the iphone letters from the back when you remove it, even worse.
Diego™ You can buy a case with microfiber lining on the inside.
I miss my Note 7. It went until I took it back without a single scratch outside the case. And my goodness it was the best designed phone I'd ever seen.
Xavier Robinson true, I still put a full body screen protector on mine but then had to return it shortly after :(
Javier Cervantes I hate putting anything on my phone. Lol. I'm gonna get the s8 hbu
Xavier Robinson for me the soft keys drove me nuts. I sent mine back because of those
Erislandy Valdez I guess I've been using Samsung for so long it doesn't bother me
Max Power I wish I would've kept mine then exchanged it for an s8
These micro-scratches would still drive me nuts.
That's pretty bad considering all of the best care you could take has been taken and it's still like this. I find it extra ironic because even in person it just looks like the plastic old cheap androids were made out of with a little extra polish on it.
I wonder if car polish will remove the scratches 😂
Darius Andrey Do you know car polish actually might work very well. But it might be more super slippery.
Darius Andrey I always wanted to know if polishing would fix the scratches.
paint correction lol
no matter how many times you polish a turd....
+JagStang77 Its still a turd...lol
I miss the Note 7 :( Seems nothing can replace it, not even the S7.
shudidesai moto z force
shudidesai same ;"( so many things on the note 7 aren't there on the edge
cross ur fingers for thi s8
Yeah I bit the bullet and went with an S7 Edge whilst I wait for the next gen phones. I figured since I have a 256GB SD card and GearVR through the promotions, plus $30 Samsung pay and $100 discount on the Edge it'd be waste to go with anything else. I am glad that i bought matte version!
Artem Aliev yeah me too. This would drive me insane!!!
Artem Aliev That scratches bad as well. Very bad.
matte black wears off its matte finish quickly
I'm glad I bought no versions
No it doesn't. Mine is still perfect.
if need to use case then what's the point of jet black...can take any colour
Imran Khan Buy a case with a clear back.
full body glass protector it doesn't necessarily need a case
Clear cases look freaking awful, there probably are no worse looking cases.
+Ralph Körner I didn't say clear cases, I said full body glass protector..
Would you rather show off a scratched up phone or would you rather protect it. There's no point of showing off your phone if you can't take care of it
What is the point of buying the jet black version if you buy it for the looks then put a case on it? but if you dont use a case it will scratch up and ruin the look, seems really pointless to me.
Dharkos silence my young one
she said the one she has has weird gps issues
You know they have CLEAR ones right????
I still haven't scratched my sexy All Glass silver titanium Galaxy Note 7 and I have no case on it. 😁
+Uzziel Ruiz that thing is now illegal in the United States to bring on a plane. It's a federal crime now. Not a good phone comparison at this point. It's beyond dead.
Erica Griffin I don't fly✈, so I'm good. 🤣
***** my phone is fine, I'm not scared, I had it for a month, and I take a shower with it almost everyday.
| Volex Rezoh | if it was going to happen it would had already happened, plus my phone doesn't get that hot while charging only a regular phone temperatures, and it cools down fast as soon as I take it off my awesome Wireless fast charger, and my phone is super fast. 😎
Daniel Jones stop hating, and get on with your day, 🤣 it's my phone, so don't worry about it.
considering the rip off prices apple charge for their phones this is unacceptable.
***** I mean very overpriced
World Top10 it's well overpriced
World Top10 no. When I had the note 7 it was £200 less than some of the iPhone s
Eric Green not over in the UK. Don't be that isheep
In everywhere except the U.S, iphones are overpriced.
That being said, I think the 600$+ flagships are overpriced compared to something like the Oneplus 3 or Moto Z Play.
Ugliest phone in the world for three years in a row. Now THAT'S an achievement
Agreed 100 percent. S7 Edge or LG V20 are much nicer looking phones, and feature microSD slots too. Apple is butt ugly and overpriced.
Overpriced is right whos dumb enough to pay that for a phone ? some of the cheaper phones have much better specs lol I feel sorry for iphone owners they strut around as if their phones are diamonds when in fact their rockin a rock. lol
if they only new how crappy their phone was.
People are so whiny! Jet black looks beautiful, and you REALLY have to look for the tiny scratches to see them. Get a bumper case in which case
1:05 What were those tables made out of? Brillo Pads?
og229 That was hilarious!
40 grit sand paper
I'm sorry but i wouldn't consider the way you used this iPhone normal usage you took extra precautions with it .....
Ok what is it with people buying these outrageously priced phones and NOT buying a case or scree protector ( I understand you were doing a test) but it amazes me how people buy these phones crack the screen or scratch it to hell and back and never think to buy a case before they take it out. Paying a thousand dollars to babysit it. lol I miss space gray.
Dante Bradley you can just buy matte black you know.....
I think matte black is a good replacement
Hi I know. I personally like Space gray the best.
Hollicat I liked spay gray.
Matte black way better than space gray.
This is why I was always fine with phones with nice plastic removable backings. I have a note 4 and never use a case. I could be rough with it and never worry about the backing getting all scuffed up or scratched.
Member when glossy stood for cheap?
I meember
Darkseth88 glossy plastic not glossy metal.
insainllama Too bad the glossy iphone 7 feels more like plastic than it feels like Metal.
Darkseth88 feels like glass to me
It still does. :D
Meemba phones weren't for looks but for function? I meemba
I found the best solution in my situation as i do also own a Jet Black iPhone, was a clear case. Erica Griffin Ah; gotcha! Seems like any case or bumper is going to scratch it as well, unless it's got a soft liner. Even then, I'd be worried about ANY dirt getting in there.
The heavy scratches on the bottom of your phone is because of your bumper case. Silly girl.
+Jawad Siddiqi no, silly boy. I just started using this bumper to show you for this video. It hasn't been used until now. Scratches were well already there
Jawad Siddiqi You're an idiot. The phone scratches easily, period.
trollz and lolz
From personal experience the scratches at the bottom comes from the camera hump tilting the phone (on the table) :| happened to all my iPhones from iPhone 6 and up
Lol, wow so many salty people in the comment section. No wonder people say it's cancer.
who even buy this model, pay a thousand bucks for a shiny piece of wack that will scratch in no time....
Lol isheep
Chris_ Robby is this your job? You try to find apple releated videos and call people isheeps?? What is your problem? People buy whatever they want with their money, no one called you a samshit if you buyed a samsung or any other fireworks-like phones. Fuck off
Dany McJackson bought* not buyed
I do:)
I brought it...partly because it's the only easy way to differentiate my 7 Plus from my 6S Plus.
There's no reason we should have to put cases on our phones. There are plenty of scratch proof materials they could have used. There's also plenty of materials that still look good when they scatch like brushed metal.
Its like once you use the jet black version, its not virgin anymore. But goes like having had 7 kids in one week
Using my iPhone 7 plus, matte black. Couldn't be happier 👌😌
u buy a phone for which u need a case so nobody sees your "expensive phone"... btw u said u use the macbook 12 cause of the small size and on the other hand u are using a iphone plus model....
+Pinson this phone is smaller than the laptop is it not?
Erica Griffin great answer xD
Pinson it's not like the iPhone is the size of a Mac monitor
+Pinson and your point is??
I don't care about the content this time but...
I REALLY LIKE THE QUALITY OF THIS CONTENT!
thumbs up totally!
I've been Pro iPhone since the first model but people need to stop buying this huge 5.5inch brick otherwise apple will keep on shoving out crap
MH S it really is not that big! I was regretting my online order until it came on friday. I got used to the size quite quickly and comparing it to my iphone 5 its crazy that I used to use that sized phone, i dont even have big hands. Dunno. It´s an Iphone. Do not use without cheap china cases.
This painting suffer more with a case because particles are trapped between the cell and the case and this produces an effect of sandpaper or abrasion, is better to treat you carefully without case.
why would I want to get this beautifull phone and then hide this beauty in a fucking case? it's ridiculous
michal234486 I think there should be some transparent skin, otherwise it would be stupid to leave it unprotected
this phone is beautiful it's very goddamn ugly how can I even hear this XD
Clear case / bumper or deal with the scratches.
I just don't understand why Apple released this. They could have worked on the materials and texture. No way Jobs would have approved it.
tbh ive had my iphone 7 jet black for two weeks without a case, and absolutely nothing has happened to it at all
I've had mine for 3 weeks and it's fine. People are just overly dramatic. Black luxury cars show scratches and those are way more expensive than an iPhone. Mine has no visible or deep scratches and it looks amazing.
Look at it in very intesive light. You'll see scratches. Theyre are not dramatic, but mine also has a few of them.
Matthew Lozano micro scratches! a day is enough to have micro scratches on that phone.
dont compare a phone to a car.
luxury cars get protective films on them to avoid those problems.
Tez PLP and iPhone gets protective screen protector too!
Here is what to do, soon as you take it out of the box, put a full body screen protector on it, then put it into a slimline see through case and there you go! It will always look gorgeous and scratch free! And you don't need to worry! 1:07 I can only see that happening if your tables are made out of fucking sand paper.
Seriously lol
My matte black iPhone went straight into a Tech 21 case. I love the feel and the look.
I've seen people scratch it from just unboxing it.
I'm with the people that think it looks cool. The scratches give it personality like the old iPods. Still a great build and looks awesome.
iphone 7 plus jet black charming 😍😍😍😍😍
The Tweet, were the "tables" they were talking about table _saws_?
+Hirudin no, but seeing what happened to it just in and out of my pocket, I'm totally sure that would happen just swiping it across a table or having it rub in any way!
That looked pretty bad, I'm surprised.
Thanks for the vids!
I mean: thanks for filming stuff! :)
Are you shining the flash of note 7 the devils phone
+Nojus Skrajunas S7 Edge, actually
Devils phone because it lights up get it fire devil... my life is sad;(
Nojus Skrajunas it's funny how idiots who always post dumb comments about the note 7, doesn't even know what it looks like...
Nojus Skrajunas Nice catch lol
The devil's broccoli
This video has convinced me to upgrade from an iPhone 5S to a iPhone 6S :) iPhone 7's look like too much hassle
Renaee Selina only the jet black variant. The rest are the same.
Do you see in what kind of world we live? We care about the scratches on a stupid phone cost 1000$. Sad!!!
+Leonardo B you actively seek out a video about scratches to take time to complain?
Leonardo B totaly agree

Just get the naked skin from slick wraps
Nethir Osman i did but when I first took it off dust in the air stuck on it right away 🙄
On the skin or the phone?
Nethir Osman the dust stuck on the skin
Don't put a skin as there are many reports of when removing the skin from a JB the lettering comes off
Alex S what does a JB have to do with anything?
Appreciate this video, it came in handy. The case rec'd was a nice surprise.
I would get a naked skin, they are gorgeous!
Is it just me or is the phone, like, okay? It still looks sexy as hell. I can't even see the abrasions when she didn't flash a LED over it.
After a month, too? It's actually much better than what I expected.
Why the hell did they even make this.
Karl Piper people are buying the hell out of it. That's why.
Karl Piper because it looks dope.
To make fool people fool again to buy shit
Marketing strategy, sell the same phone over again then actually release a new design next year.
Thank you Erica once again for doing a follow-up. You are amazing!
So are we ever going to get a part 2 for the Note 7 review??? I've been waiting for a while now
Big Mo it got recalled, remember
+Big Mo that thing is contraband now on US flights. It's impossible to buy. I don't have one and won't ever again. No one will. It's over. No point reviewing it but please check out my send off video I made for the Note 7.
Never say never. Samsung still has a few thousands (if not millions) lying around somewhere that were produced but never sold plus the few millions or so that are being returned without ever failing. They will end up on the black market soon enough if not already for $hundreds off.
How about the Pixel?
+Wilvin I don't think airlines as going to change their rules for it though its almost a federal crime to take it on a plane...
ZenFone 3 Deluxe has a nice all-metal construction looking !
omg i cant stand the fingerprints... tho the color is beautiful. I want a coral blue iphone 7 plus (rip note 7 ;_;)
The S7 edge is coming in coral blue in the near future.
So I'd suggest you wait if you want it.
I got the Jet Black 7 Plus because i like shiny surfaces
How much would you be willing to sell it for? I have been thinking of going iOS. I assume it's unlocked?
+RiceCake2000 it will be new in box and never unwrapped so I would expect full price for 128gb but I won't sell to audience. Only locally.
RiceCake2000 same I am going to Apple store tomorrow to get the black one .

I always use my phone with a skin on it. That way I don't have to worry about scratches. I love matte finishes on phones. Stay away from shiny glossy glass and stuff. I am currently using a blackberry passport with a carbon fiber skin on it and it looks amazing
Zero scratches on my black S7 Edge... Ops
Nawaz Waseem you Samsung users always try to make your phone relevant
because samsung is the most selling phone manufacture in the world?
Dharkos that's literally only because samsung has many model options. some very cheap, so people with not a lot of money can buy a cheap samsung from walmart. that's why so many are sold.
Also zero cells in your brain.... Ops
Cal Joseph You must feel really rich though spending that much money on a phone that costs $60 to make lel? :'(
Great Review, I like your videos, I am now a Fan, I just Bought Jet Black IPhone 7 Plus 256GB, I normally don't use cases, But I really love this phone and want to keep it looking beautiful, I am not concerned with reselling it, I will keep it after Upgrading next time, After all I am a UA-camr and like Tech stuff and want the latest and gratest, good luck to you on your channel
IPhone sucks
*grabs popcorn*
Charge Final Impact Shoulda saved that popcorn man, no one gives a damn lol
iPhone does suck. That's why iPhone 7 sales are poor, and Android has an 85% market share and growing every day.
Lol what bullshit stats did you read that from lool
Android is an OS, it is an App Store, it is an ecosystem. It doesn't matter that many companies sell Android phones. People that like Android can choose phones from $50 to $800, that is choice and that is good.
The Android ecosystem is destroying Apple in the marketplace, worldwide.
I can say that in USA, many people view Apple with contempt and absolutely avoid their products.
Dave Satay Wtf did you just say? Android is an app store?
I like your stuff-would like to see more videos on random topics like the one you did with your husband and friend about your kuerig;that was good 👍You're always great! Thanks!
Matte black looks much better
Anshuman Jain Work your ass off kid.
Well, you can just go to the store if you wanna touch one.
Don't sell your soul for an iPhone....
+noventay4 no we can't...
lol thats nothing Ive seen iphone that are rusting and you can see the brain lol
How does the iPhone 7 Jet Black differentiate from the iPhone 5Cs, concerning scratches?
Girl...I first wanted the matte black and ended getting jet black. Now that I have the matte black I terribly want my jet black back...I regret switching to matte.
And I am like you with the whole micro scratches...I couldn't STAND THEM but I realized how you can't even see them unless one is scavenging for them with a flash light.
This makes me feel a bit better after getting the Gold. Though I still want the matte black.
InternHits mine is coming soon. preferably november. 🙃
Main reason why I got the gold! It arrives on the 21st. But I guess it would be worth the wait if you're getting matte black.
Even with a case on it scratches from all the dirt and dust that get from the apertures.
Lol
I think matte black should be the choice. Iphones are beautiful without a case which also adds bulk.
scratched my jet black just by cleaning it with a fiber cloth.. rushed to the store to get a case. swapped with a gold one and my life is better now
Buffing compound for knives (or even toothpaste) might help buff out the smaller scratches.
The micro scratches look like glitter xD
Pretty good looking bumper!
Last time I was this early the note 7 still existed
I actually like that finish. looks nice. I'd tear it up
Now I regret buying the Jet Black. Not because of OCD but because of resale value. I just ordered a protector for the back. I'm glad I got an Otterbox Defender.
the red apple case should be gorgeous for jet black
where did you find that exact wallpaper, and is there a 2k variant?
In reality,no one ever stares at the back of their phone all day lol Thats why I always get a folio case for my phones. Folio cases always do the job for me when it comes to protecting my phones, even the cheapest of leather folio cases last for years lol.
I'm glad I went with the murdered out matte black 256GB iPhone 7 plus
Should I use it with screen protector on the back?
I really enjoy your videos.
Why not put a tempered glass protector on the back ? It protects from the scratches, and glass is a nice feel, although it's sure it is not metal or the polished feel that the phone has but it helps it looking pristine as the first day !
I really hate cases and I'm glad that I got the matte black 7 Plus. I would be really paranoid with a Jet Black.
This also happens to the glossy candy shell case, tons of scratches after a day or two. Not the best design.
