This makes me happy, seeing my Hmong people living peacefully and enjoying the simple life. Also funny, they use that instrument at night to flirt with girls. It's a very thin metal piece that is split in two sides, making that sound when it is flicked.
I was in this EXACT village 9 years ago. Because of the lack of restaurants at the time we had to knock on someone’s door to ask them to prepare a meal for us. They refused to accept any money so we had to leave it on the desk and run. Time flies , they even have air conditioners now , amazing
Our people (Hmong/Mong) are a generous and kind people. We will feed you without any monetary compensation. In China, the Han Chinese call us Miao-Tzu (grass seedlings) that they can never kill, as they tried to kill us for the last 5000 years.
In the beginning there was not China, clans raided around in what is China today. The clans were divided over the south, north, east and west China. And those fighting to gain control of the country completely. China is the name of the first emperor of China who managed to gain complete control over land areas north, south, west and east China.
