Do u guys look Chinese? I’m curious if we share same ancestors? We are the Hmong who originated from the miao from China, immigrated to Vietnam and Laos and Thailand.
What language do U guys speak?

Though, I do not think Han and Miao are the exact same, I do believe that, in a sense, we came from one originality. The Miao are Chinese by nationality, as I am American by nationality. I also happen to be Hmong-American. Does that make me the same exact as the Hmong in China? Yes as in, we most likely came from those groups originally. But no as in my direct relations come from Laos. Hence the Thai&Laotian mixed in our language, I probably have a Thai/Laotian mix in my history somewhere.

I loved the scene of a Chinese village. People and dress look similar to India's north easterners. The background music is very soul touching and soothing. Also our north eastern music has similar texture and tenor. Indians and Chinese historically contributed to each other's culture in significant ways.

In the beginning there was not China, clans raided around in what is China today. The clans were divided over the south, north, east and west China. And those fighting to gain control of the country completely. China is the name of the first emperor of China who managed to gain complete control over land areas north, south, west and east China.

Hmong/Miao started from the lands that now China owns only, before we migrated to any other parts of the world, the South East lands of China were the land that lived by Hmong/Miao, and those lands that Hmong/Miao had lived weren't own by Chinese until the Chinese ppl took it away from Miao/Hmong. So how were/are we orginally Chinese? And of course there is a big history about Miao/Hmong but it still doesnt mean that we orginally Chinese.

I think this vidio is taken in southwest of china, i"m from southwest of china nowadays very few places like government has supporting the people here to buid our houses sometimes they give mony directly to the villagers to let them build their houses . people from the east china don't even know this kind of places exsist . the east china and south of china is so developed compare with the west of china . but I understand the government ,western china is having disadvantages in development because of the geography , all the western region s always mountainous or desert ,but still the government is trying very hard to develope the western china ,the railway from Tibet to Sichuan and from Tibet to Qinghai are good examples of their hard working . the road from our town to my village used to be a ruffroad but now it's like high way . I thank our government and the communist party of our country

I went to this village a few years ago. It's a really remote place, and life there couldn't be more different city life in China.
It seemed like everybody in the whole village was drunk the whole time. Or just incredibly happy??? Was a great experience though, apart from the fact that there was only one restaurant in the whole place, it had one dish which made me really really sick for days

My guess is people tend to be happier in smaller groups/tribes where there is not a huge gap in wealth and where there isn't a culture of mass consumption where you're always wanting more "stuff" to fulfill you.

I understand where you're coming from. I just wanted to make sure you clarify because there could occur a lot of different speculations and, bottom-line, misunderstandings. I think the better word to replace "perfect" would be "better." I understand that we have a lot more freedom here and people are seen individually, however we still are unequal in many different ways. But I see your point. In the end, just have to be proud of who we are, no matter where we are from. :D
