- Ever wondered how we transport our yachts to Boot Dusseldorf? Watch our documentary 'How to handle a Princess' to discover the journey of the Princess 35M from the Mediterranean to Dusseldorf in 2018.
That's awesome!
Made my spine tingle.
Hi aquaholic
@Viking Hoping that the opportunity might present itself at some stage :)
Hi aquaholic, where else could you be than watching the newest princess video?
AQUAHOLIC hi love your channel. You are my favourite youtuber
Nick: Go check out Princess' video. Tell them Aquaholic sent you.
Everyone: it will be done my lord
Got directed here by Aquaholic, not disappointed I might add, she looks huge out of the water, beautiful boat.
Aquaholic deserves a bigger boat. I think all brands should chip in and get him a nice 100ft yacht.
Brilliant! A proper gift for Nick!
Just like what aquaholic always says... “EXCELLENT!”
I was Sent here by a recommendation from Aquaholic, brilliant video and the effort and attention to detail of everyone involved in that project is formidable
thanks for the recommendation Nick.
Princess Yachts, you owe Nick from Aquaholic a favour after his recommendation for this vid....bringing you thousands of viewers!!! Have to say....very interesting....whole way I was like, is all this worth it to have this one boat, but what a boat it is!!! The effort and attention to detail for this is awesome!!
As soon as I read your comment, my hairs stood on end!, just goes to show how much Princess love doing what they do best!.
Aquaholic sent me here and well worth watching a excellent behind the scenes look at Princess yachts 👍
Sent here by Nick(Aquaholic). What a great video, love to see some more similar videos..
Well done Princess. Love your fleet up to 40M. A factory tour and build process are fantastic. Thankyou
Amazing video. Always wondered about the logistics of moving boats to the show. Thank you Princess and the teams involved, a world class professional operation and a fantastic looking yacht.
Fascinating stuff. Hats off to all involved in that spectacular move.
very nice video! Was sent here by Aquaholic. Now I dream of a review by Aquaholic of this beautiful ship! Providing the generous owner would agree, of course! The ship can't get better publicity than from Aquaholic. :)
So pleased I scrolled through that.
Great video amazing to see behind the scenes Good to see a familiar face Mr Paul Bailey who always made us welcome
Absolutely amazing! Thank you for posting this.
Awesome video
This is crazy!
Thanks for the recommend Aquaholic!
VERY impressive. Nice work to all the teams and experts involved!
Aquaholic said "go there", so here I am.
Great vid, directed here by Nick @aquahloic
Brilliant video.
A real insight into top end logistics. I really enjoyed this VT.
Nice topic, i allways wondered! Great Video!
Great job lads,well done!
A great video - boat builders need to produce more content like this. Shame about the SIX mid-roll ads during the video though
Loved it... Come from aqua
A fascinating video.
I am proud to say i was there
Fascinating! ✔️
Impressive!
An interesting little documentary.
Fantastic insight, thanks. But 'flagship 35m', what about the 40m? Cheers for the heads up nick.
phenomenal documentary!
Im gonna own one of these beauty's someday idk how yet but im gonna put 200% in to achieve this goal
Fascinating, what does it take to board a boat like this at the show?
Bravo Zulu to all involved!

Looking nice.
Ok, but how are other boats brought to the show? Is it that hard for other manufacturers as well?
Btw, I am also here because of Aquaholic’s recommendation :)
They come the same way but motoring them selves up river. Then hoisted out by Big Willy. This was just to big of a boat, and they did not want to put hrs on the enginges, since it was a customer boat.
Morten Sorby thanks for the explanation :)
There is a Ship who Ship Ships! wow
Thank you to the owner of EL GUAJIRO 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What a smart idea to decide to set up a boat exhibition in a city with no seaside! Compliments germans!
You had the sound of the mains firing up but the volts indicator is for the generator. That’s a completely different noise 6:33
Wow
Finally Jenga is useful
I didn't listen to Aquaholic, I found you through UA-cam. Impressive project management and demonstrates the expenses involved in marketing these big boats. Wouldn't it be cheaper to dish out colour brochures with a 50 Euro note tucked in each copy, instead of all that fuss? ;)
😍😍😍😍
Princess does make the best yachts though
Hi there, it must have cost as much as the boat itself to transport it to the boat show.
Question. For what reason exactly, would the owner be enticed to provide is yacht for this. I cannot think of any reason why. Can some answer please genuine question
The only person who can answer that is the owner. However Princess are a fantastic company to by a yacht from, I bought one from them myself and their customer service is second to none so the owner will have a great relationship with them. Also another incentive is it came out of the water in February and princess obviously lifted, serviced, cleaned, anti-fouled and detailed the whole boat free of charge and that is not cheap on any yacht let alone a 35m one!
Yeah free servicing under the waterline cleaning, inside and out cleaning which would be probably £60k and maybe some future favours.
I know this is sad but I would have liked to have seen it being cleaned up and detailed, and having the stand built around it.
So this is how you ship a ship
But does the Boot Düsseldorf actually take place this year?
It was in January so yes. This video was for the 2018 show.
OK - I'll take 2 of them.
Why don’t they just move the show to somewhere on the water....seems like a lot of ridiculous work and expense...
Interesting name. In America it would translate to rustic, boorish.
In Cuba it would translate to peasant.
Why not motor this hatch all the way?
v40 👍
Putting blocks under the vessel whilst it's hanging above you by the straps , That's what seperates men from the boys
Come on people, everyone to work! We have to pay for the luxuries of the millionaires.
Complete noobie here, wouldn’t a yacht of that size not be able to make that trip on its own, without the need for all that loading/ unloading?
As said in the video, they don't want to put hours on the engines. And doing this trip in the winter might not be such a good idea
LOL. 250K potential customers? Doubtful!
Has the corona virus has got a say in all this? Unless it'll be a social distancing boat show, which sort of defeats the whole purpose of having such a public event.
Short answer - NO
Longer answer - Boot Dusseldorf takes place in January, before coronavirus was identified as such a major issue as far as 2020 is concerned, but the video is about the 2018 show anyway, as it clearly states in the description.
why dont they just drive the boats from a to b on their own engine and why dont they just build the hal lat the river with a BIG pier with a BIG crane on it ??? this is just waste of time and money.!
it aint much without the Dutch
Pretty interesting. Too much face time and not enough of the actual movement.
I wouldn’t of borrowed my 12 million pound boat are u mad
