Not for the first time i am amazed at the scenery the research and everything else involved posting this wonderful adventure, and not for the first time THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I continue to enjoy you taking us along for the ride around the island. The UK and Wales has some of the most quaint towns and beautiful beaches. What I have noticed is that almost every beach you visit the tide is out! Thanks for taking this Texan along for the ride.
I have lived on the Bristol channel all my life and it seems the tide is always out but I'm assured it comes in twice a day 😀. I put it down to the Bristol channel having the second highest rise and fall of tide in the world. Because it travels so far in and out, the times when you think of it as 'in' are quite short, most of the time it's a long way off. This is even more accentuated on shallow beaches, such as where we live in Weston-super-Mare. The way you say 'the island' has made me smile. Makes it sound like something you would hire a scooter and ride around in day 😀. There again, understandable when the whole of the UK is nearly 3 times smaller than your state! Thanks for watching and commenting, we love hearing from you.
Thanks for sharing your adventure. Great videography. Captured all the good bits of Gower (especially the scene of Caswell Bay through the trees) and, as a local, it's nice to see the area from a fresh perspective. Best.
Yet another great episode with some good footage. I am trying to work out how many more before you complete your journey. The weather looks OK for next week so we are heading down to Devon on Wednesday for 3 nights and explore around there. If the weather continues to be OK we are planning to book somewhere around WSM for a night then off to the Cotswolds for a night and then the shorter journey home. If you are not working or riding around the coast it would be good to meet for a coffee or food somewhere.
Blows my mind some of the roads/beaches/views you find. Would you be happy to drop the Google Map links of the route you took in that video? I'd love to visit some of them..... 🌏🏖 Learnt something today about Mumbles ✔
This my old stomping ground, loved bringing back the great memories of being a teenager on Honda cb250rs and a Z550, those were the days! Though I didn't always appreciate the beauty but then u think I may have been going faster then I should have 😅 I was hoping you were going to go to Mumbles Pier (turn right at apple an down the hill!) Many a fun evening spent at the Pub there🎉
We've been to that pub! What you said about speeding past things is so true of me. Pretty much up until I replaced my old Honda Blackbird with the Crosstourer I was like that. Age and the CT has slowed me down and I've realised there's more to it than just the ride 😁😁
Totally agree, however I've just changed my NC750X DCT (21) for a BMW R1250R (23) And now and again, that devil 😈 on my shoulder like to see the scenery past by at warp speed 😀
@@greatbritishbikingadventures Nah you dont want one of those, you a nice comfy tourer, mmm say a Ducati Multistrada V4S Grand Tour, It is a bit low on power with only 170bhp, but it does come with panniers
@@flexywing Now that's a machine and even has a V4 engine as well. Problem is I don't like spending my holidays on the side of the road or in the cab of recovery truck 😄

John, it's comments like yours that makes it all worth it.
Imagine if the UK had a lovely spring, summer and autumn. Thanks so much for this series. I will be revisiting many times
If only 😁 Our pleasure and thank you

Thanks Arthur, great to hear from you again. Are there any bad bits of Gower?! We think not, we love it, like we do the rest of Wales.
The beaches of south Gower are beautiful , and considering they are right next to Swansea very quiet
It's an amazing area. We're hoping to walk the coast path soon and there will be long stretches of peace and tranquility!
Brilliant great scenery
Beautiful!
