Good info. Question. If I put in for a group hunt and I am a team leader but my team bails out, can i still be awarded the quota hunt and just go by myself?

Don Juan Yes - your application would still be included in the lottery and if successful, you would be awarded apermit.

Tony, I am over 65 and would be hunting on my own land. I am assuming this is only for public land. Do I still need any type of license, and a quota permit? Also, do I need any type of deer tag for archery, shotgun/rifle, or muzzle loader hunting on my property? Thank you.

Larry342516 You definitely do NOT need a quota permit, because they only apply to hunting on wildlife management areas. And because you are 65+, you do NOT need a hunting license or related permits
