You're welcome! Violin tab doesn't seem to be as well known as ukulele / guitar etc. just yet, but it really simplifies learning songs. Glad it's of use!

Yes you're right - the numbers correspond to your finger number (index finger is no. 1), and the lines are the strings. E string at the top and G string at the bottom. Let me know if you need any help! 🎶
Tablature is a form of notation that indicates where to put your fingers on an instrument. I don’t think the use of tab necessitates frets, as I’m sure you’d be able to play a bass tab on a fretless bass, right? Just my thoughts on the matter ✌🏼

tbh the tab was a bit confusing, I hope he switch the orientation of tabs in regards in the position of violin strings
