That's a tough note to hit when done live. She did struggle a bit to reach it because that is at the top of her range. But as you said, she has a great voice.
I think, she sang that high note "safe"! The one she did in the video can fail, was more risky. In the life version she sang it, so she can end it definitely. In the video, she could try several times. Same on the song "Edge Of The World" (the "What is at the end of liiiiiiiiiiiiiife?" one): Starting safe, seemingly struggling, but then a boost at the end of the note!

Oh, you see a lot of it if you dive into the Japanese rabbithole. Metal didn't, it moved to the south east and was taken over by petite but extremely capable women 😅 Mainly Japan but several Asian countries are part of the supply chain.
Judgement Day wouldn't be my first pick as an introduction to Lovebites. I like more keychanges, while this follows the same most of the song and chugs along at the same speed. Holy War, Set the world on fire or Solider Stands Solitarily live would been a better pick IMO. Maybe one of their "Epics" like Swan Song inkl Chopin intro, Frozen Serenade... or Empty Daydream. Seriously underrated band, that I feel are being ignored by elitist, for being too similar to the classic 80s bands.

I think the issue is that the enjoyment Lovebites fans receive from the band, is primarily from the enjoyment reactors receive through being impressed by the difficult things they play, but to become big (like on music streaming services), people have to like the music apart from reactors being impressed. Yet the music has to be written to impress the reactors, because the reactors are currently sustaining the band. None of this is probably fixable, but don’t know. Maybe on the next album they can do some different stuff, like by boosting Fami as a new selling point. 🤷♂️
I don't think Asami lost the key, but that last note is at the very top of her range, and she was having a little trouble hitting it. She usually does hit it, but occasionally, when she's tired or strained, she'll hit it a little flat.

Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in

In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward.

If you try to think or analyze the band's BPM, songs, and music based on traditional concepts of a metal band, I think your understanding of Lovebites will be limited and one-sided.
This heavy metal band continues to evolve.
They don't stick to one genre of metal music.
Sometimes it blends different metal music genres together, and sometimes it blends classical music.
They have a variety of genres of metal music that they think are good, and they have the skills to perform them live.
Sometimes their songs are on the border between metal and hard rock, and if they call it metal music, then to me it is metal music.
LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 11 June 2018, LOVEBITES won '🏆BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.
"Bloodstack open air 2018(Aug. 10)" also participated.
On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.
Asami (Vo) of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm "Download Japan 2019(March 21)", singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do!)", which gave the band their name.
LOVEBITES performed as a support band for "Arch Enemy's China tour at the Shanghai show on March 23 and the Beijing show on March 24, 2019".
LOVEBITES participated in "dowload Festival 2019(June 15)".
And Asami of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm Download Festival UK 2019, singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do!)" again after Japan.
LOVEBITES join DragonForce on UK tour 2019(Nov. 2-14).
On 2 December 2019, LOVEBITES was the support act for the Tokyo leg of Halestorm's Japan tour.
On January 10, 2020, a headline show was held at the venue "The Colosseum™" in the resort hotel Hard Rock Hotel Singapore Resorts World™ Sentosa.

On 17 August 2021, LOVEBITES took an extended break after the departure of their leader, bassist Miho.
The remaining girls organised an audition for a new bassist from around the world and recruited a new bassist called Fami(Ba).
Fami is a five-string bassist who can dance, sing and play and has 695,000 UA-cam subscribers.

That's a tough note to hit when done live. She did struggle a bit to reach it because that is at the top of her range. But as you said, she has a great voice.
I think, she sang that high note "safe"! The one she did in the video can fail, was more risky. In the life version she sang it, so she can end it definitely. In the video, she could try several times.
Same on the song "Edge Of The World" (the "What is at the end of liiiiiiiiiiiiiife?" one): Starting safe, seemingly struggling,
but then a boost at the end of the note!

They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. Sometimes they use typical Japanese melodic lines which are included in ENKAs_ melancholy ballads singing by Japanese women. Only their can do it. Obviously they draw a lot from British, German and American metal. All this makes their style unique.

Oh, you see a lot of it if you dive into the Japanese rabbithole. Metal didn't, it moved to the south east and was taken over by petite but extremely capable women 😅

Judgement Day wouldn't be my first pick as an introduction to Lovebites.
I like more keychanges, while this follows the same most of the song and chugs along at the same speed. Holy War, Set the world on fire or Solider Stands Solitarily live would been a better pick IMO. Maybe one of their "Epics" like Swan Song inkl Chopin intro, Frozen Serenade... or Empty Daydream. Seriously underrated band, that I feel are being ignored by elitist, for being too similar to the classic 80s bands.

I don’t think they are underrated. I think the issue is that the enjoyment Lovebites fans receive from the band, is primarily from the enjoyment reactors receive through being impressed by the difficult things they play, but to become big (like on music streaming services), people have to like the music apart from reactors being impressed. Yet the music has to be written to impress the reactors, because the reactors are currently sustaining the band. None of this is probably fixable, but don’t know. Maybe on the next album they can do some different stuff, like by boosting Fami as a new selling point. 🤷♂️

I don't think Asami lost the key, but that last note is at the very top of her range, and she was having a little trouble hitting it. She usually does hit it, but occasionally, when she's tired or strained, she'll hit it a little flat.
