You channel is a national treasure! I usually use the lore from 2e and 3.5e but to have a complete overview of the different writers your work is majestic
Ive played that the abysal, infernal, celistial, primordial and draconic languages are more mystical in nature. They are the casting lamguages for arcane magics. The actual "words" pronounced are less important than the idea encoded into the pronounciation. If you are an arcane caster, you will be speaking one of these mystical languages. Or for a hedge wizard or natural born sorcerer, a pidgen mixture of several. Good lecture, keep it up.
I played with this idea as well. Arcane scrolls/spellbooks 40:20 were draconic, divine ones were celestial, infernal, or abyssal depending on source and/or alignment. I assumed that abyssal was really demogorgon's language which others had to learn because not following orders hurts while the various beatic creatures just learned enough celestial to get by.
I've found very little of the lore that comes from 5e is worth mentioning since its so watered down compared to 2nd and 3rd. 4e isn't much better but its got some gems in it.
I started my lore journey in 2000 with 2.5e. All the lore I’ve learned since I’ve slotted in as necessary when not directly contradictory, and when contradictory I go with the old stuff.

Awesome video I hope we get videos on as many layers of the abyss you can get to

Been waiting for the next video for weeks. Glad its out.
I’d love to see a full video on Pale Night! There aren’t many videos on her
Another lore banger 👏
So deamons are next...like expected!
I really hope that the Yugoloths come after them. The rule of three demands it, after all.

Interesting subject :)
Great than You continue this series!
I hope you talk about the hierarchy of the abyssal demons.
After you do all the demon lore you should try a blood war lore
Nah; the Blood War is lame af
I think it’s meant silver doesn’t do particular harm to them in first Ed rather then they are immune if a weapon is silver.
Dope
2nd edition is the only truth.
So, when a demon has olestra, they can develop a "sudden, uncontrolled planar leak"?
I hoped you will talk about all the 666 layers of the abyss.
Probably since he covered the layers after giving some info on devils first with demons will be the same
That’s a lot of videos lol. I’ll probably try to cover the big ones though.
thought demons could enter sigil?
They can, the limitations were only from 1st edition, before they had come up with Sigil.
