  • We visited the Louvre museum in Paris in under 3 hours. We saw Mona Lisa, Raft of Medusa, Winged Victory of Samothrace, Venus de Milo, Psyche Revived by Cupids Kiss (total of 22 pieces of art). After, we grabbed a bite to eat with Vincent au Petit Vendome (near Place Vendome) and got to see the Arch of Triumph wrapped installation by Christo & Jean-Claude. Enjoy!

Hi thank you for wonderful videos with so much information and clarity. So, for Louvre I should buy an entry ticket priced at €22 and again skip the line ticket separately, which is priced differently on different websites? Thanks in advance for your answer.

I remember being in the Louvre in the 60's (yes, last century 😉) and I was just as overwhelmed by the collection. So if you want to see something in particular you must rush, with eyes closed, to that specific painting or sculpture otherwise you will be exhausted before you reach it. Not physically, but there is so much to see and all beautiful.
You have made an excellent video on this subject. Thank you very much.

We bought a guided tour online from the Louvre website before coming here yesterday. Anyway, I made sure I clicked on the English tour. Today, we learned I booked the French tour. There was no way we were going to wait on a physical line to get a refund, so we just wandered the museum. We had a great time regardless, and yes we got lost as well. Try finding a bathroom when you really need to go. Finally, don’t miss their restroom Angelina.

As many times as I’ve visited the Louvre, and as much as I’ve planned my route, I almost always end up turned around and completely lost! What‘s the fastest way from the entrance to the Mona Lisa. I want to see it first and then enjoy the rest.

Can I ask what time you visited the Louvre as it looked less crowded? Like what day/time is the best time to go and visit?

Hi! We’re visiting Paris on Nov. Trying to book a timed ticket in the Louvre website. I wanted a skip the line. Is that the skip the line ticket and the museum ticket? Or do i have to buy a separete ticket that says “skip the line” like in viator, then buy a museum ticket? Love your videos! Very helpful in our planning!

Love your videos but small correction, Psyche and Cupid by Antonio Canova not Vanova.

I don’t get that art installation either, Antoine. It does look like a termite tent.
