I knew this piece when RaelNYC included it in an imagined non-existent Genesis album ("Autumn Storms"), and I thought it was Steve Hackett. On 3:02 this sounds like a reference to the final guitar solo of "Every Day" from Steve Hackett (1979). It sounds like a Genesis 4-pieced piece if Steve was on "And Then..." from 1978, some keyboards also sounds almost like Tony Banks on that period (on studio).
And who today is playing a guitar like that? It's fabulous 😢😊
i'm so amazed to hear Rutherford composing such a track !! Hackett or Collins would not have surprized me but MR !! wow !!! love it !
Loved it since I bought it in 1980. Simon Phillips' drumming is insane
Pure class; superb drumming from the Master; ethereal keyboards; sublime Bass and pedal work plus outstanding lead work from MR.
Simon Phillips is the only other drummer I've heard that can "swing" just like Phil!
Still have my original vinyl copy- love Simon Phillips drums

One of the best LP’s I own with Chris Squire’s Fish out of water
Simon Phillips.
Need I say more?
Doing his favourite time signature to boot - 6/4. Sublime.
@@harnois756/8, actually. But who’s counting-lol?
@@pajamasflannel Well yeah, but I was listening at 78rpm.
Fantastic 40
Years plus vinyl still in loft
