    U're a master in the art... please tell me what materials do I need to start painting?

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  Рік тому

      Thank you! At the beginning you should practice to draw A LOT. And then you can sprincle in some colour mixing practice (cut out some colour our of a journal and try to mix it as best as possible). Then you can try simple compositions and practice shape and colour on these smaller and simpler paintings. I would recommend you to start with oil paint...if you are serious and need the time to blend you will not make it with acrylics, oils are far easier to work with.

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  2 роки тому

      I`m using here Winsor&Newton water mixable oil colours (link you will find in the description box of the video). I am bascially using my "standart palette" consisting of titanium white, lemon yellow, cadmium red, raw sienna, phthalo blue, dioxazine purple and lamp black. I mix e.g. all the greens just with lemon yellow and phthalo blue adding more colours when I need a warmer/colder/lighter/darker green tone.

      To be honest - I am not a fan of people copying my work and selling it as their own work. Or would you like me to copy YOUR work and sell it? Come up with ideas of your own...practice hard...and then sell those paintings - this is much more rewarding because you sell not just a copy of someone else, you sell a part of yourself, a part of your imagination - MUCH better :-))))

    your camera is playing weird tricks with the colors. I thought as closer the objects are the darker they should get but the water never changed...🤔

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  Рік тому

      The water is simply just reflecting what we have in the sky - and as we have a pretty cloudy sky I need to reflect this into the water. There is no rule that water gets automatically darker the closer you get to the foreground. The objects, trees, people etc. THEY will have more contrast...less of the colour of the sky in the shadow areas - do not mess this up :-)

    • @jecacava8823

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  Рік тому

      @@jecacava8823 I meant that you should not get it wrong when you paint water! Water is not per se darker the closer you step towards the viewer - that was my point. To me it sounded like you would paint - therefore I just tried you tell you how its done right. And - I have NEVER ever deleted any comment on any of my videos. And I will never do so except for obvious spamming, trying to lure people into clicking on a dangerous link. But any other comment is welcome! I have nothing to hide :-)
