Years ago when I toured it, our guide from the boat to the cellblock was an older gent, who had been a guard at the prison when he was a younger man, it was his last summer doing tours , we felt so fortunate to be in his presence & pick his brain a bit. The audio tour was really worth it!

I don’t know why, but that prison looks so creepy, but that’s so cool to look at a prison from the 30’s-60’s. It has so much history and I would like to go there to experience what it was like back then. The gift shop looks cool.

It’s kinda sad that some kids had to grow up near this prison there is even a quote of one of the cell guards daughters “to this day I have to sleep with lights on”
I'm so amazed to find out Alcatraz was a real place, I thought it's only a made up map by Call of Duty Mobile, it was my favorite map and it's unbelievable the details were 90% accurate to the real one.
Imagine hooking up to a hotspot while there and catching a dub on the actual rebirth island, lmao dork shit I know but the COD franchise’s lineage of titles and gaming in general mean so much to me that I know it’d be an out of body experience.

The only historic site in the United States that is better in my opinion is Mount Vernon, George Washington's home. Alcatraz is awesome.
