I got mine a couple weeks ago, run it a few times so far, I love it! Swapped out my safariland for it, and im glad, lower profile, more secure mount on the belt, more adaptable. Haven't had any hot spots as of yet, but im running an inner padded liner like you. Also at a negative cant too. Worth the money for a lot of capability.

I keep going back and fourth. Been using the same basic mid ride for 12 years and my friend suggested the safariland leg shroud. Then I discovered this, and I can’t make up my mind. My only concern about this one is the threads coming loose on the belt, whereas safariland loops through the belt. Is that an issue?

Just ordered the True North adapter.
I’ve been running the Safariland flex mid length with QLS.
I think this is going to be a much more streamlined set up. I just hope the True North is not too rigid for me.
My Safariland always gave me hotspots.
    We’ll see

Man, I don't know about this. I just got mine a couple days ago and have had a little time with it. The thing is a solid block of aluminum lol. While it's nice that provides a slight more amount of rigidity, it makes it more uncomfortable in just about any dynamic situation at all. I haven't yet tried to slide on the ground, but even just grabbing the bottom of the holster and pulling it outward I can already feel that solid block of aluminum digging into my hip bone. Imagine if that happened because of an impact or fall - I'm thinking shattered hip. I think there's a reason the Safariland setup is made of polymer. I'm willing to give it a bit more time to see if it improves, but so far the comfort has been a definite negative over my safariland setup and I'm definitely worried in the back of my mind about doing something that causes an injury just due to its pure rigidness. 😬 I find it weird nobody is talking about this. (sitting, getting in and out of cars, etc… is also a similar issue)

So you can't just mount an RTI wheel to the MHA and you have to buy an adapter??? I thought the whole point of the MHA was that you could mount any of the popular 3 hole pattern quick detach systems??? Sounds like just another way to squeeze more money out of you

So, one thing I haven't heard anyone talking about is interference with safariland holsters and how close the holster is to the MHA so much so that I have a hard time getting my thumb in there and breaking the ALS when the holster is mounted on the lowest position. The screws on the safariland holsters also keep it from being flush with the plate when mounted directly to the plate. So you essentially HAVE to use the QLS system with the MHA. I didn't plan on using different holsters with the MHA but it's not a deal breaker. I just gotta go find an FDE QLS kit now.

@@MrRyryrose @chris Johnson ive been using mine for almost 2 months now, and i can say its definitely more comfortable than the ubl. (It takes up less space on the belt and doesnt create a hot spot) the one slight drawback that i have is that without the leg strap you do get slightly more holster flip. I do not recommend their brand leg strap. They are too thin and the extra bracket rubs on the leg. They offer the vastus system which in my opinion is far superior as far as comfort and securing the weapon to your body. If you dont plan to run a legstrap or change the cant of the gun, i would say stick with the ubl. (Side note. Taking the positive cant away does make it harder to draw from inside the car using the MHA compared to the ubl ) these are just my opinions, overall im happy with it.

Anybody know if this is compatible with the Safariland (Model 745BL). I’m trying to run a Safariland mid ride height holster on a 1.5” belt (I’m done wearing an inner/outer belt setup). Using the standard UBL has too much play, and causes the holster to slide behind my hip. When I mount the 745BL clip directly to a mid ride holster, the ride height is way too high and makes it difficult to clear my armor.

Quick question man, I attached a QLS plate to the MHA and the locking plates with the three prongs that feed into the back of the plate aren’t and cannot snug down all the way. It’s like screw, MHA, rubber, QLS plate, triple prong. I can’t get get them to not pop out and it’s screwing up the QLS/holster pop in. Like I was forced to get the vax, has it made me stupid here and I’m missing something simple?
