Painting Wojtek - Poland's Beer-Drinking, Battling Bear of WWII

- In this video, we'll paint up Wojtek, Poland's legendary beer-drinking, fighting soldier bear! In the Summer of 1942, soldiers of the Polish 22nd Artillery Supply Company took in an orphaned bear cub while stationed in Iran & named him Wojtek, or "Happy Warrior." For the next three years, Wojtek would travel everywhere with the men of the 22nd, even officially joining the unit at the rank of Private before the Battle of Monte Cassino in 1944. Wojtek served his adopted country by helping to carrying heavy ammunition crates through to the war's end when he went into a well-earned retirement at the Edinburgh Zoo.
Today, we'll paint up this lovely 1/35 bear figure from Mantis Miniatures in the likeness of the legendary Polish fighting bear.

After war polisch soldieres were re-visiting Wojtek in Edynburg's zoo.
Schocking vistitors they were going through bariers of wojtek securement and giving him beer and cuggarets which he also ate.

Just stumbled on your page as I’ve been getting into painting custom 1/12 scale figures recently and was looking into trying 1/35 WWII as I’m obsessed with WWII. What brushes do you use? I’ve been so scared of painting eyes on faces. Also fun bit of info, my buddy and I love the story of Wojtek and named a bear companion in a game we play together after him. Lol. Love your content.
i like the paintjob but i don t have money to spend on that type of brush i gust discovered you and i will say that i am pround that i made my first 2 models and yea you said it once this hobby is expencive but i like the finished result by the way are there any rusian models of tanks and aircrafts
