Does this work like conventional pedals, amp sound the when pedal pressed effects are engaged, I'm looking for something that lets me use my amp then access sounds sepratly
Love the sound and concept of this unit... really want to get one! One question I have tho... when all pedals are off does this unit still alter/colour the tone of your Amp? I'm concerned about this because I use a Roland JC120 with a Fender Jazzmaster for extra clear clean tones and wouldn't be happy if this unit when bypassed messed too much with my amps tone! Im concerned about this because this is exactly what happens with the PodGo, due to this I never use the PodGo in conjunction with my Amps (PodGo is great to plug straight in to a PA or an interface, but not to a guitar Amp in my experience) ...hence I'm looking to buy a Plethora X5! Any info would be much appreciate, thanks 👍🏼
UK launch price of circa £400 looks pricey when compared with Line 6 Pod Go. No drives and very little in the way of amp modelling and cab sims. A fairer price would have been £299.
The thing about this is that you can get that Toneprint tones from TC in one pack. If you consider the TC pedals price this will not be that expensive. But of course, there's always other option that can do your thing.
Did you hear the tracking on that harmonizer? I would buy it just for that. Oh yeah, and legendary tc sound and build quality. And TC flexibility. And TC forward/backward compatibility. It's not a cheap plastic gadget that's going to fall apart in a year.

Finally, a good sound demo on this product! 👏🏼
Awesome video. Tight, clear and well demonstrated 😎❤️
Excellent demo.
Was the keyboard sound with the octaver already a board or did you put the sounds together ?
Thanks

That’s correct
Just bought one ne it’s super convenient if you want just great pedals but not a full modeler like Helix etc
How can i name the boards
You can do it using the TC toneprint app

You can use FX loop i your AMP
Apparently there isn't an off button?
@@mattgilbert7347 theres a true bypass so just unplug the 9V cable. It’s no different from your other pedals.

yeah but 299 would be too cheap compare to the TC Pedals
and with "little" bit more cash... you would get the Hx Stomp [499pounds] .. i thinks for what it gives its too pricey

You gotta be kidding right? This thing costs $800 where I am and buying all the pedals it includes would cost $2000-$3000.
You can find it used for that price now two years later 😊
A bit too Pricey

Hard disagree. This is the same price as a single strymon pedal and does infinitely more
@@WhiteWolf-- Joseph you are so right, but man those strymons are amazing too though lol.
Most TC TonePrint pedals are over $100. So all of them and five at a time for $450 seems pretty reasonable to me.
