My favorite is Thought I Was Dead because it connects Like Him and draws out the meaning behind the mask featured on the album cover. I find it very interesting that he's not wearing the mask in the video. I'm still trying to piece it together but the mask is off during Like Him. And though its a bit of an identity crisis, i think he's saying he's ultimately happy with who he is. Though his mother asks for forgiveness, Tyler doesn't deem it necessary. Everything happened for a reason. Ultimately, the mask is the ghost. Tyler says he "turned to a ghost" though on Thought I Was Dead. Not that he turned into one, though. I'm still thinking on this as well. But yeah, i think the album is fascinating. Its early but it feels like an all-timer. Congratulations to Tyler. And thank you for your vulnerability and transparency.

Then, he drops a transitionary record (Cherry Bomb, Chromakopia) in which he experiments with a large variety of styles and tries to find his new sound. The reason Chromakopia is getting so much hate is the same reason Cherry Bomb got so much hate, Tyler's audience is accustomed to the IGOR/CMIYGL stile, since that is all they have heard since 2017, but Tyler wants to change, to grow past this sound.
