Don't need any of the products this channel is reviewing, but still love the channel. Weird, right?
She's probably got the most entertaining monitor review channel (SpawnPoiint is probably the best even though he rarely reviews displays). I like the colors in the background and she's got the most informative yet not boring review channel I've seen.
This was such a detailed and well written review. Thank you for giving us such quality content
This was such a detailed and well witten weview
Thank you for giving us such waulity wontent
No intro, just right to the point, I really like that!
This is my very first monitor, I will have to say I'm blown away by it. I switched from using a 4k 65 inch sony bravia. Gaming mostly on Xbox series x, wow amazing, watching imax enhanced marvel movies on Disney, beautiful. I'm falling in love with monitor the more I use it.
for such money you should :)
Enjoy it :D
What setting do you use
@@NinjaNick7 I literally turned it on and the picture looks so good I've never tried changing any of the settings.
Still rocking the pg35vq here. Absolutely loving it after 2 years.
That was a fun monitor as well. Things have improved a bit in general, but somehow we never saw a new version of that :(
Likewise, though I had mine for 1 year so far and using it every day like it's the first day. I'm only going to upgrade when a similarly sized OLED is released with higher refresh rate and higher HDR levels. That will take a while, so chill back and relax for me.
Awesome and very in depth video Nada :) This monitor is something that I would hook up my entire tech arsenal to (PC/MacBook/PS4) and I would never leave the comfort of my chair whilst switching devices
My cat loved this review. My dog jumped with joy. I found it informative.
Man your camera is so good. I've seen this monitor irl and it looks even better on this video somehow.
Love how your videos are always straight to the point and relatively short. Keep up the great work. My C can’t do 4k yet always good to be up to date for when i do my upgrades.
I bought this to replace my LG C1 48 and guess what? I returned it that evening. It was a serious step down from the OLED gaming experience. I PC game mostly before anyone asks.
I upgraded to a 48 inch C1 a couple months ago. It is going to be hard to beat.
Lg oleds have been ahead of monitors for a while. Most of these monitors are too expensive for their features
@@SuperSavageSpirit Just checked the price in my region, it was 1200€ and one retailer had 5 returned PG32UQ's on sale (usually not a good sign of the quality). I bought my LG C1 for 1000€.
@@MrMeanh the lg oleds are often less money and come with hdr, bigger screen, hdmi 2.1, and obviously the oled screen. Unless you need something very small no reason for a monitor currently
The only thing that can beat the c1 is the upcoming qd oled and G2.
A really awesome review! I’ve had mine for 10 months now and I love it
This was fantastic and everything I needed to know. Just bought this and needed to justify to myself that it was a good buy before it arrives and now I am satisfied hahah.
Any issues yet? Did you have to update the firmware? Mine is arriving tomorrow 😬
I keep looking and I'm amazed at each new viewing. I think that the experience with such equipment gives you unique, unforgettable experience.
I LOVE the fidelity of your data and test and everything thank you!!!!!
I've always been surprised by ASUS monitors. They are the only brand I've ever purchased that I've never had to RMA for dead pixels. And I tend to get the cheap models.
Thank you and congratulations for the review, it was the most complete I could find about PG32UQ.
Nice video. The monitors continue to improve. The PG32UQ almost nails it. HDR 600 is nice, 1K is the target I'm looking for. It's still early, hopefully this year🤞
Something between the PG32UQ and PG32UQX for ~1500$ sounds good to me ;)
Might as well get $1300 OLEDs - C2 42" or Alienware 34" - for HDR600 gaming and content consumption.
Since last year's C1 48" is now under $800, I feel like any non-"true HDR1000" LCD monitor over 1K is pointless. LCD HDR is better suited for high-end 2K+ price segment where 2000+ zones of FALD can be properly implemented.
My favourite tech UA-camr for ever. Love from heart. This Asus is a beast. I really need this
Anyone that’s here. Holy mind blowing this monitor, I chose to spend the extra $.
My stipulations were HAS to be 32” and HAS to max out (above and beyond welcome, but not needed) my PS5.
I’m playing 4K/120 on this and compared to the 4K/60hz I was playing on my LG UHD 65” is night and day comparison. It came down to 2 monitors and I was scouring for scouring for something to beat the M32U. While I think M32U is great especially for the price it’s at. It really came down to me. I’m already spending $750 on the M32U why not spend couple 100 more and get a noticeable better picture.
Glad I did and it’s thanks to this page! Love it!! God bless!
Thanks for the review. After you reviewed the BenQ Mobiuz EX3210U and mentioned this monitor I had to go back and look through your videos to see if I had somehow missed it (UA-cam does sometimes not notify you of channels you follow). I personally ended up buying the M32U but I do still like to see what reviewers think of the comparisons. Keep up with the great videos.
This was meant to go live way earlier, just didn't get around to it :) M32U remains a good choice too, especially for the price.
Thank you so much for giving me such a great opportunity.
Thanks so much for the review! I liked how you compared this monitor with the M32U, which was the monitor I was planning on buying. It was also as if you gave a compare and contrast between the two, and that’s exactly what I needed to hear today to make a decision of which I’d like to buy here in the near future. Always great to watch your videos; keep it up!😊
Funny, I am in the same boat and I think this wonderful video just pushed me over the line to get the Asus.
Been looking forward to your review on this one. This seals the deal, so now I just need it to come in stock! Thank you :)
Hope you'll like it! :)
@@TechTesters Got one and have been using it for a few weeks now in a dual setup with a new M1 Pro Macbook Pro and a ITX gaming PC. It's absolutely brilliant! Probably the most flawless monitor I've ever used, and I've used a LOT ranging from cheap gaming monitors to iMacs and colorgrading Eizo monitors. Not a single issue with backlight bleeding, the color reproduction once calibrated is near perfect - Even better than my $3000 Eizo monitor. The only issue is the overdrive mode. Works perfectly fine in games but when running on OD 3, then you get a strange effect around text when scrolling. Once you turn OD down then it goes away. And tbh I haven't felt any difference between the OD levels in most games. So I can either just keep it turned down or just setup two profiles on the monitor - One for office use and one for gaming. Would be nice with a small firmware upgrade to improve it, but the monitor is worth it's price.
Very good review with relevant comparison ! THK.
Nice monitor and nice review as well! I'm just using 22 inch and that's make me grateful because monitor up to 27 inch always have a class and some details for gaming and also content creator, just imagine to have this one in my setup.
Just wow, you'r the best , I bought it cuz of your review and really a good monitor. thanks a lot ❤
Enjoy it!
Well , greatly detailed review as always. Going to be really in making decision.
And gonna rewatch that sick Jackett video. 😁
Hope winter comes soon again.
Never had the opportunity to use an expensive and high caliber monitor before but damn this looks amazing! Also great review with a lot of details even though I don't really understand some of the stuff it's still very detailed explanation!
Awesome review! I'm still thinking of the EVE Spectrum 4K; (now called the Dough Spectrum 4K), love the glossy look or this one. BTW , you are one of the more attractive good reviewers out there. Lol.
I was looking for a review for it all day today, I read lot of reviews that says it dies or arrives broken normally with lot of problem, Im gonna watch this review and see
Great and accurate review! You should share these amazing wallpapers!
Thanks for the great presentation and review of this gaming monitor and also for the tips on how to choose a perfect monitor!
Thanks for the detailed explanation
Love your monitor reviews
sweet. think i found my next monitor. been waiting for something like this as it pretty much checks off all the boxes for me. I do wish the HDR brightness was a littler higher though. thanks for the review.
then why not get the pg32uqx
@@samuelkdu cuz its $3k that's why lol.

Thank you 😊
Honest review like always. It's a worthy monitor.
Thanks for the informative review.
I really like the spec of this monitor, the only problem is I can't really afford it :(
Always great to watch your videos; keep it up!😊
This would have been an "OMG i want this now" 3 years ago.
As we have OLED coming in smaller sizes, the price premium is not worth it.
OLED is nice..... but they don't get that bright. 4k screens are the norm as well as high refresh.... high HDR is next for gaming
@@TheInsanitiesedge Hmmm, for movie watching and TV series watching HDR is nice. But as a monitor people don't care for HDR cause the whole industry on that front is broken or literally sell fake HDR products (AKA HDR400).
And who wants to sit behind a monitor with 1000nit brightness whole day. Good way to become legally blind when you reach 40.
Plus HDR on OLEDs don't need to get 1000nits bright to achieve about same contrast as IPS technology, measuring from black to white contrast.
Super blacks on OLED has a bit advantage to win HDR contracts levels back vs IPS technology.
Yeah, too late to sell 4K for one thousand bucks. They should not cost more than 700-800.
@Nisco Racing naw it don't. I have plenty of OLED displays and tho the darks are gorgeous, on my HDR10 monitor there is no competition lol.
Love my OLEDs, but I'll be keeping em for jus TV.
@@TheInsanitiesedge And QD-OLEDs are almost here, i am very excited to see how Sony will take up that challenge. It already has me over to go for Sony's QD-OLED over the new LG OLED for 2022.
It is said and known that Sony handles some stuff on the software end exceptionally good.
Thank you so much for review
Good solid review!
Awesome review, thanks!
Awesome review!
1000:1 contract ratio? No FALD? This isn't an HDR monitor. They can call it HDR all they want but it isn't.
Hdrnt
I call it semi-HDR. Not bright enough and not certified as true HDR but it shows in the display properties. I actually can't tell the difference with it on or off unless I'm in VR which ruins it. But it is 10 bit.
@@GreggRoberts fair enough. I use the LG CX 48 but will switch to the 42" C2 when available and price drops a bit.
@@mohamedahmed1023 and for desktop usage? Im using same too for everything
@@oppi263 yes, I use the 48" for desktop. Think 42" will be more manageable.
Wow. great detail review
Beautiful monitor and great review!
Thanks for the informative review.
I really like the spec of this monitor, only problem is the price.
Where I live, I could get the 48" LG C1 for a lower price, so it's really hard to justify this. I'm better off getting the OLED TV for gaming, and just continue using my old monitor for work.
It's just not the same. I have a couple of OLEDs and they're amazing as a TV or game panel, just not for desktop use :(
Hi Garry, the price might be better and the overall HDR is better but Techtesters reply is correct. Using a 48" OLED panel also has a few drawbacks that are worth considering.
1) Depending on were you sit, a 48" is simply too big so you would have to have a much deeper desk
2) Although OLED tech has improved a lot when it comes to normal content consumption and console gaming if used with normal desktop programs like windows you will experience burn in as there is a lot of static images.
There is some more issue as well but my best advice is to watch a video Linus did on his channel on the pros and cons of early adoption with regards to OLED and the LG specifically
This for desktop usage? I already have c1s for gaming
@@andremostert8630 alienware has announced QD-Oled monitor with warranty of 3 years that include burn in for around 1300 USD, so im fairly sure they know there wont be any burn in cases with this new tech for a long time, and there is nothing stopping you from buying new monitor every 2-3 years while still in warranty lol
@@filip.a. Yeah, sure... But that was only announced in January last month. Its also not a apple to apple comparison to a traditional OLED now is it? With most things in life, context is everything and u obviously missed it. You will note that the reply was based on the LG OLED that our friend Garry mentioned. That specific OLED is not good for desktop use at all. QD was spicifically designed by Samsung to compete against LG OLED, the same monitor tech Alienware is using. So not to sure why you added a "lol" at the end there but I'm almost sure it wasn't meant to be one of those "gotcha" moments right?
awesome review! first video of yours i see
great review of this monitor
I finally know what monitor to buy now :) Thx .
Seems awesome! would love to own something like this for work and PS5 gaming.
I have the 43 inch version of this (PG43UQ). It's pretty nice. Paid 999US. Has to be FPS mode.
Unbelievably gorgeous! Oh, I like the monitor too. She is so 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanjs for info. Is so important for me
I've spent the past six years using my 65" 4k tv as a monitor and was fine with 4k60...until I wasn't. I had planned on buying a monitor for a little while now to get those extra frames out of my GPU. I bought this thing and I love it. Didn't want to spend three grand on a nicer screen, but I also didn't want a smaller 4k screen. This was a nice compromise. Additionally, I'm personally pretty happy with the HDR 600. This does everything I need it to and man I do love finally playing at 155fps.
How is the color uniformity? In the video, I can almost spot the inaccuracy on the color tests.
Finally propper input labeling 2:03 🎉
Great Product at a reasonable price. I’m sure that the true cost of mine LED technology isn’t $2k USD more ….. realistically wholesale pricing might be a few hundred $ dollars at most to implement , so I feel mini LED technology will become more of a mid-tier standard this year rather than a super premium high-end feature with a much easier to stomach pricing 🥰👍🤩. Great work Nada & Techtesters and looking forward to your next video 🥳🏆
From where come from the statement that last firmware reduced response time by 5ms ?
That's some impressive color gamut coverage for a high refresh rate panel
Great review. I have a LG32850B. I really love it. I use it for work, games, and movies. Maybe you could add these perspectives to a review for an all-around monitor, such as the PG32UQ. Eventually, I'll go up to a 4K ... but I want that RTX 4090ti FIRST!
Thank you :D I'll think about talking a bit more about general usage, it's easy to assume that people probably know that those general things work well on most 4K monitors.
RTX 4090 TI is 8 k forget about this ASUS 4 K it is out of date, it will still work but it wont be 8 k , they r just trying to sell off old stock not kidding .
@@madmad8582 lol, do you have any idea how ridiculously far away we are from 8k being mainstream?
Great review, thanks.
Glad you think so! :)
I will give 5 stars because it looks fabulous. I'm looking for a 27-inch monitor, but I wouldn't mind if I won it 🥰
Nice review
Great review. I'm waiting for a review of a monitor with a QD-OLED panel to see how it compares. The LG C2 TV is also quite interesting...
Hopefully April, but we'll see xD
@@TechTesters Do take your time reviewing the OLED panels. The burn-ins are a real issue when used as daily desktop monitors.
Dang very beautiful monitor meanwhile me with my 1366x768 monitor :')
Thanks for the review!
Your comparative table lacks PA329C for comparison with PG32UQ. As for me, they are very similar.
PA329C is targeting a very different kind of user. It's a 60/75hz monitor where the PG32UQ is 144/155hz. The PG32UQ has HDMI 2.1 while the PA329C only has 2.0 and the list goes on.
looks great!
Good video, but I would wait for a monitor with at least 1k brightness. HDR (when done right) is amazing.
Great looking display!
Good review
What do you think is better? This monitor or the Eve spectrum ? I don’t know which one to choose.
Looks amazing I got a 27gp950 though last year and it’s also great with hdr
27gp950 is overall the best 27 inch 4K gaming monitors actually ! That s why you can t buy it now XD and that s why no one can review it properly
@@lalicdalibor1367 I got 2 and there so amazing
I have the GN950 its the exact same specs as the GP950 but no HDMI 2.1 unfortunately. Now im wondering how the GP950 is versus the PG32UQ
@@yaboyskeet634 unfortunately the contrast calibration is better calibrate on gp 950 and you a better local dimming on it than gn 950

I bought this in November last year for £849! It is a good 4k monitor..
Goede review
Do you know what type of mount I should buy because the one it currently has is too big
Rock it up!
Does this monitor have 16:10 aspect ratio. When will they make 32 inch monitors with a 16:10 aspect ratio?
Hi! This PG32UQ can I use to watch Netflix?
Hi I bought the Alienware 38" monitor after your review last year and absolutely loved it. Tragedy struck when I cracked the screen corner and luckily found someone to take it off my hands. But now I've come to a point where I have to decide. Have you tried the new LG 34GP950G-B 180 hz with the better dimming and HDR performance (I found it open box at Best Buy for 35% off), or the 4K LG 27GP950 for the same price as the open box ultrawide? I really loved the alienware, but in all honesty, for my mostly-FPS usage it was a bit of a waste of real estate.
If you haven't checked them out yet can you please weigh in? Your reviews are excellent and more informative than the "average Joe" reviews that don't really offer any insight, or the ultra-techy ones that offer too much crap that doesn't matter to most people. I also find it odd that you gave the Alienware such amazing praise and then don't have it in these lists but you list the lesser-impressive LG 38", and the Alienware is selling for 30% cheaper than the LG... almost always!
My monitor went totally black and I can't use the osd, because the screen is black. You said something about an app you can download and use a keyboard and mouse. Where can I get this?
Damn that monitor is so good
Is there a big visual diffrence with this & the uqx?
Upcoming Samsung G8 will be the go to soon. I've seen it on pre order for £1300.
samsung isnt branded as a gaming monitor
@@buddhabob64
I don't know what you mean. A monitor that is high hz is great fpr gaming. What has branding of any kind got to do with anything other than to lure in people who know zero about them like fake 1ms ratings and HDR 400.
Very informative ;)
Would this monitor be good for colour grading or other professional work like video editing?
Does you know if this monitor works with PS5 VRR Implementation? Great video and thanks in advance
It does. I own it and the ps5
Is still this monitor a Good choice? Or maybe the new lg oled 27 is better? Thanks
Oled is nicer, but has its own concerns for monitor use (desktop burn in)
@@TechTesters I am really confused about getting pg32uq I have read some people said it’s had some quality issues what is your advice about this monitor, and what other monitors I can compare it with
