Phil, I am looking to do a similar project to yours to install on my PC-21 (ua-cam.com/video/9obnxp3Rfn8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=NSpagnuolo), although I saw some Arduino projects, it seems your's is simpler and does all I expect to do. Therefore, I have two questions (or requests,if you will) Can you share the hardware and circuit diagram you used? Where did you get the sound files from? I searched for two weeks and I was not able to get a single-engine turboprop sound (I understand you are using the twin-turbo, but maybe the same source may have a single engine). Thank you.
I also had a single turbo prop sound but using my audio editor I overlaid it again with a slight doppler effect to give the impression of a twin. It was fairly successful. However, I acquired another sound sample from a relative in Canada of a Twin Otter starting up at Vancouver Harbour. This allowed me to play around with the samples to the best effect. Limited in reality by the small speakers but it is the best I could get without increasing weight into the model. Of course it is also subject to scale. I did a similar thing with my B25 Mitchell video ua-cam.com/video/uZeuKjcSeTo/v-deo.html where I added sound samples with a doppler effect. The module is from Mr R C World online.
Thank you for your response, Phil. What I am looking for is what it seems was the first file you were working with, which is the single-engine turboprop sound, Can you share that with me, as well as your circuit schematics? @@PhilFord51
The module is factory created with surface mount tech. 30mm square. It is supplied by Mr R C World who you can find online. You can download from my website here: wimbornemac.org/club-info/download/category/5-open-tx The file will be available for two weeks @@richardraimondo612
Sounds great, where can these be bought?
Hi Phil, I liked your project so much that I immediately purchased the same module from Mr rc. can you help me find the sound for single turbo prop?

Thanks a lot, Phil!. I already downloaded the sound file, and I am looking at the RC World site for the board.@@PhilFord51
