I'll be honest, I've been watching your videos since you first got the mog and had that disaster with the company that built the shell. Watching you putting the interior together looks like a shit show... Looking at it today, I'm impressed, you've both done a great job. I'm glad I didn't post a negative comment at the time, I was very much an armchair critic! Congrats to you both, what a great build you have ended up with.

9:41 most new fridges nowadays have hardware that allows you to flip the hinges to open either left or right. I've got a feeling yours comes with that. It only takes 5 mins to change..

I came here for the bed lift system, which I had a concept brewing in my mind - would love a parts list and sources of providers for that. I also love how you’ve done everything about the composting toilet, but needs a drop down cover for when the shower is in use, rather than a plastic sheet. Lots of well thought out detail in this van.

Looks like you've proven me wrong when I thought your 240v fridge would chew all your power. Happy to admit my error of judgement. I did warn you about that Merbau timber and its leaching tannins though. :-)

  • @mikebysouth105

You've both done a great job. Extremely impressive. However, for safety purposes, fire equipment should never be near the stove or near the fire risk. It should always be near the door. If you get a fire near the safety equipment, you might not be able to get it. And you want to be fighting it from near the door so you can get out if need be. The only exception is an area like the bed that has to pass the risk area to get out. That might be worth having a second small extinguisher there to reduce the risk of getting trapped. Otherwise, fantastic.

Great to follow you both on your adventures. Love it and thanks for sharing with us all. I have a question about the electrics cupboard. What is the device on the ceiling, the round object. Smoke detector??
I have a concern from your spear fishing video back on my birthday in January.
The orange power cord used to power the induction hub. If what I saw it was a long red cord coiled up on the table. This is a no no. The cord can heat up as when power goes thro the coils it produces an electric field. This heats the cord and reduces the power given to the appliance. I suggest you use a short cord. Hope this helps.
Otherwise we really i joy your trips and feel envious!!!

I did the same thing covering my toilet in my wet bath. I also have made covers for my acrylic windows that could be scratched by a bunny's ass. I'd much prefer safety glass windows.
