I have it in 35mm. Most gold plated watches have that cheese gold look to them but somehow Tissot has managed to make this one look like solid gold and not cheesy. That alone makes it a win in my book.
@@Sturnburn772 nah just an opinion. Either go gold or if you can’t afford it choose an other metal. Nothing special or insecure about it. But I guess by your reaction you would choose this tacky solution. In my country gipsy communities would prefer that option as well

No. For certain cheaply finished "cheese gold" watches, maybe. But this is a high quality PVD finish and nothing wrong with wearing it. I was in Milan and visited the Tissot store, to see the this watch for the first time. I tried 35mm Gold, Ice Blue, and White dial, to be honest I was so hooked to it. 35mm looks so damn alluring on both thin and thick wrist. I loved it but unfortunately I hadn’t enough money by the time to buy it that I still to this day regret it.
I bought the 35mm gold auto and it was the second watch I ever purchased (my first being Junghans max bill auto) and both from your store! I will say you the service you provided was awesome and I can tell you care about your customers - all in all, I love both of my watches and whenever I wear this one, it scratches the itch for that gold rolex datejust, VC 222, and an AP all in one package; if they made a real gold version, I would honestly buy it since Tissot already makes great watches
To me, there’s something special about the 35mm version of this watch. Maybe the crown size is more proportional? Like others commented, I don’t necessarily think of myself as a gold watch guy, but I do love the look of this version of the PRX.
Never liked full gold watches + PRX (Regular Steel Bracelets) never looked right on my wrist no matter how much I wanted them to. BUT after I tried the Gold just for giggles (quartz) I INSTA-bought it! AND the moment I heard about the Powermatic gold announcement I sold the Quartz and now I own the Gold Powermatic (40mm for me) There is something so special about the PRX Design in Gold... that I wouldn't have known I needed until I saw it on my wrist.
Hey, I’m looking to get this same watch also in the 40mm, a couple of questions? How’s the gold plating holding up? Is it a scratch magnet etc? Thanks.
@FreezingFaces The usual desk scratches, nothing major. I'm always careful when wearing it. The gold coloring is done excellently, and I don't think the color wearing off would be an issue with this watch.
The other day I was thinking on my next watch… wanted something fun, I have a watch for every occasion, but not for pure fun situations… ended up buying a mido powerwind gold pvd, and is my new watch for fun situations ( having fun with my friends at a house, going to the gym, swimming pool situation, etc ). I think some times watches are just a fun thing and this watch makes me feel that way. I mean, we all know it’s nota real gold watch, the point is having fun with it…
I have seen this watch and permit me to say that the gold plating is of a good quality and looks like real 18k material. It is not a cheap gold coating that is obvious from a distance.
I wish Tissot would focus more on the Tissot Ballade. Maybe introduce a smaller Version / different dial colors / open heart version. The Watch is absolutely beautiful
I'm pissed they don't offer a fluted bezel option in full steel. +$100 for the bezel would be more than fair, and not offering the option in gold PVD would help prevent a lack in 18K PRX sales.
Ugh, i really need to go and try these on in person. Tissot's Gentleman 40 looks good on my wrist, as does something like a Casio Duro. But that smaller 35mm looks just showy enough without being too gaudy and bulky (since it's gold) -- I wonder if I can pull it off. Probably doesnt help that I dont know my wrist size ... 🙃
I got the green in 40mm but I’m really wanting to get a 35mm which would suit my need for a smaller more formal watch. I just can’t decide on the Gold 35mm or the ice blue 35mm. I have a feeling I’d get more use out of the ice blue (waffle/Auto), but the gold looks so nice and elegant. I just think it wouldn’t suit me cause I tend to be in a leather jacket than an office suit. Owning the green PRX in the collection I can at least be sure it’s an accurate watch, looks and feels high quality and just has a great bracelet. Even though the bracelet is predominantly brushed it flickers in the light so well and is much bling than you’d think. And the polishing is were it will pick up those pesky little hairline scratches a polished watch gets. However this can be removed on most polished surfaces with good polish for stainless steel. I’d love to hear people’s opinions. Would a 35mm gold suit a make in his mid 30s who tends to mainly wear jeans and t-shirts? The ice blue is clearly the winner for your everyday watch. Thanks for the upload. Great as always ❤
I have a 6.6in wrist and we don't have any Tissot stores around us at all, so I have to cold buy. I fear the 35mm is too small, and this video didn't actually show a 40mm on a wrist. Recommendations.

We talk about 80 hour power reserve, how many winds of the crown should you expect to achieve maximum wind? Also I'm of the understanding that you cannot overwind these two so watches? Is that correct?
few years later if my prx timing are off by few seconds, instead of nudging the regulator screw a few notch, i had to throw the whole movement away for a new one
@@INSANEFAME why? Swiss made doesn’t mean what it used to and I don’t really care if the watch has an integrated bracelet or specifically designed automatic movement.
