When I first met Dennis (taking lessons almost 10 years ago) he didn't sing, didn't want to sing, didn't think he could sing. I told him that Jerry Portnoy had told me that his greatest regret was not trying to sing. Jerry is almost alone in having a successful career as a blues harp player without being a vocalist. I think Dennis took that to heart. I'm glad he did!

Thanks!! All part of being a good musician, to me, that's my goal. Of course I want to play the harmonica well, but that's the beginning of being a good musician is learning your instrument...then just learning how to make music on the instrument AND learning how to make music in general.
