Since Heiter must have asked Frieren about mana suppression, it must explain Fern's first talk with Frieren at the end of ep.1 on the cliff. "Mr. Heiter says I'm practically invisible. That's a very good thing, isn't it?" Frieren wondered to herself how Fern could know so much at such a young age. In ep.2, during the 4 year montage of time with Heiter and Fern, Frieren is drawing a circle around Fern. This is likely the boundary she's showing her to keep the mana suppression within. It's 28 episodes, so almost halfway there. Btw, ep.12 and 14 are quite memorable as well. They both get my eyes leaking.

These small call backs to these episodes really come full circle cause I do remember those interactions 🔥 I thought Kraft was going with them but I realized that wasn’t the going to happen when we started getting those flash backs with Hieter. Fern is the goat I never realized how powerful she it 🔥🔥 and yes! This show never fails to make me tear up lol
