IMO it's a form a gatekeeping to discourage new people to bourbon or hate because they didn't get a bottle and they don't want you to enjoy yours, my biggest example is Midwinter Nights Dram. All you hear in the online community is how terrible any recent batch after like batch 8 is, and "O you shoulda had or get batch 4 or 5". I have recent batchs and it's still very good. I have batch 9, 11, and 12,all phenomenal, and all my buddies who I've shared it with love it (I know Homer dosent like it). And the guys I tend to hunt with also love it? I hate the Henry Mckenna debate, you touched on it, well this one wasnt too god but you need batch X, it was amazing that's why we always hunt because "3 outta 10 are amazing". A McKenna fan actually said that to me. However I always feel like a dick cause I chase different Stagg/Stagg Jr batchs lol. In my defense I don't tell people not to chase Stagg. I think 24a wasbolsid, I think 23c is the best batch since batch 14, but thats my problem batchs 12 and 14 were SOOOO good lol (and that's my Homer rant). Russell's 15 was a given #1, Little Book 8, Barrel Seagrass Grey Label, EHTBP B12, Bombergers 2024 would prolly be the top 5 off the top of my head for 2024. Why would you pay $700 when you can get it on Unicorn for cheaper lol. OHIO SHOUTOUT 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. 🤣🤣🤣 Homer for the titties and middriff out, what a way to close 😅 you can hear the sticking struggling 🤣🤣🤣
It’s a tough decision between the RR15/VVS/HH18. All are absolute bangers and great in their own way. But if you’re walking at me like that at the end then give me the HH18 👑 🤣🤣🤣
This maybe but he has produced a top 20 offense every year he’s been a head coach or OC and a top 10 running offense almost all of those years also. So it works and Norvell trust him he worked under malzhan at Tulsa years ago
