Welcome to the family. I get paid two ways. Tin (Shred/Steel) is the stuff we throw off in the pile. We are weighted when we enter the yard and then weighed again when we leave. Enter weight - leave weight = total dropped. At Jeff's area: each bin is on a scale. When we throw the stuff in he is entering the weighs on his computer. You might hear me say - are you ready or is the scale zeroed. This means we are switching the type of material. Jeff does forget to enter things sometimes because we gab and goof off but he alsways makes it right. Hope this answers your question.
Sometimes the old stuff is better than the new . I see many newer appliances from lg and Samsung that look like only a couple of years old. People get rid of things because they don’t like the look of the old, I bet many regret they got rid of the old stuff might still be working but want the eco friendly internet driven crap. Most o that stuff is made in China and not designed to be repaired, just disposable.
I dont in case someone wants to salvage the car. They would need a new battery anyways (that is normally what is wrong with them). So I take what I can and leave the little wire just in case.
All 6 Burger King restaurants in our area , decided to replace their coolers and fry-vats. Someone gave their district manager our business card,and we went to all of them and turned them in today!! Realize bank today!!
