Himmlisch abgefahren.
Ausgewählte Tonträger: Hedvig Mollestad Trio: «Black Stabat Mater», Rune Grammofon, 2016 / Hedvig Mollestad Trio: «Evil In Oslo», Rune Grammofon, 2016 / Hedvig Mollestad Trio: «All of Them Witches», Rune Grammofon, 2013.

Just discovered this now. Amazing.😮❤
Hedvig and Mary Halvorson have to be two of the best guitarists working these days. Though Mary is a lot more cerebral and jazz-based, both are very exploratory and doing a lot to expand the instrument and its possibilities.
Don't forget Ava Mendoza - another creative original force - this would be a great Trio line-up
It sounds fantastic...great Norse tone. The Rypdal heritage is safe.
You nailed it! Love the Rypdal aesthetic!
Terje Rypdal, you have some great successors!
Best new discovery for me musically fantastic, damn she is talented like frank zappa, I am tripping out without drugs
Right?
It`s going to get loud! Earplugs at the cashier! Swiss concert promoter take care about their audience. Funny introduction. It`s the music that counts! A mixed bag full of Jazz, Fusion, Psychedelic and tons of musical skills.
I bought two albums before seeing this live performance…Absolutely blown away from the outset by this trio, now going to have to buy the rest of the releases Headphones on, feet up, glass of beer to hand, Im away on another planet!
This music makes me happy.
Love the hollow body
Super! Passionate! Real!
fantastic band, needs to be supported! :-)
This is insane. Was Sonny Sharrock reincarnated as a Norwegian woman?!? The whole band is crushing it; bass player is amazing. Cool to see so many positive comments from people digging this vibe.
Dette er bare helt RÅTT!!!
Yeah❤
Fabulous as always. Come and play in Newcastle when it is allowed please.
Excellent tone all around! Great energy.
Tone tone tone...Just massive!
Woavooooo....or how shall I put it? Tremedious good
Amazing trio. Awesome original guitar work. Gets a bit samey after a while. Do they write and rehearse tracks note perfect or is a lot of this essentially jamming?
Danke für die Huldigung! gezeichnet: Der Gott des Halles!
What an amazing band!
What a fun 👍👏👏
This is just epic good music :)
'' REAL PROGESSIVE JAZZ / ROCK FUSION '' ( '' EPITOME statement of the art '' )
So exciting to watch this band perform. They and their compositions are like one organism, expressing something at once diverse yet very unique and special.
You got a new fan, from Mexico
Intricate music with cosmic influences. Not unlike her compatriot Terje Rypdal.
Yes , and i whis they make a record with terje before it gets too late :)
Fantastic video! Keep it up!
Oh, and credit to the drummer too for keeping that driving beat
love it!!
Fantastic.
Super!
Unfucking believable...
Yeah! They just ooze in that perfect pocket in between.
superb.
Does anyone know what goes into this tone and musicality from a theory perspective? How are they creating such a varied but consistent aesthetic? Is it the use of certain modes and scales/chord voicing? I am struggling to get a handle on what they are doing. It's like Allen Holdsworth but a bit more trippy and not so compressed. Just fantastic
Some of the jazzier bits remind me of John Abercrombie. But the overall rock feel is U2, plus King Crimson, plus John McLaughlin.
And the guitarist is pregnant this video
Underbart bra❤ 37:43
Eexelent music! But whwat about the cat?
Noch nie so unvorteilhaft bekleidete Supermusikerinnen gesehen
