Those little WW2 Jeeps really tamed the Black Bear. Just be sure your brakes are as good as a 2016 Jeep. My brakes went out just before the steps ln my Grand Cherokee, it was pucker time and hand brakes all the way down., Great video
I might consider a 4WD with an automatic for use here in Maine but my wife and I lived in Utah for 25 years and we STRONGLY recommend a manual for use in the Mountain West.
Love your videos Currently building a willys truck for these exact same trails would a stock t90 and dana 18 and 5.38 axle gears be low enough crawl ratio to be comfortable on these trails? I know you are running a 4 speed just wondering?
what are u running for fuel systems. my kids and i have been at every place in this video, but never in my 79 golden eagle. im dying to do the Ouray Jamboree but am skeptical with my Weber set up. any input would be hugely appreciated...Jeoff
yah I Ride The blue patina Jeep, and the red Jeep both have stock engines with the original Carter WO carburetors. The blue Jeep has no issues at all. The red Jeep has vapor lock issues.
I love it, the old Jeep will never die.
What a beautiful trip!

Most of the flattys in this video are bone stock. Stock carbs, 6 volt.
jeep is life
Very spectacular. I have covered similar sections myself. A definite no-no for the inexperienced, lest he has a death wish.
