..just recently somehow i got a youtube recommendation to one of the videos from this judah clark dude and his bikini-girls. man, i thought things cant get lower then that. but then watching one of your videos again , gives me joy and hope that there are still some humble, talented, caring and creative people in this country. thanks , and keep up the good work....
Yeah guys judah clark is a joke. Hurt my heart to see Kelly Young on one of his vids . She looked like she was pissed the whole time. She's a good woman. Gabe is a good dude. Aaron is probably on of the most sincere humble and talented guys out there.
The little thank you at 14:28 was one of the best parts, I thought I was the only one and crazy for always saying that every time I would take a fish's life! Absolutely love going back through and watching these vids over again!
Easily becoming one of my favorite fishing/outdoor channels. As someone who probably could never get the courage to go spear fishing in anything more than 6-8ft of water its incredible to watch some of these dives in open water. Damn also the clip 6:24 at where you spear the trailing fish so your bud could hit the one in the lead is exactly what I'm talking about, that's absolutely pro.
Had wahoo grilled with hollandaise sauce at a small restuarant on cedar key, fl about 25 years ago. Am 51 now.. it was amazing. I have fished all my life and caught every that is exceptional to eat ( to me ) except for hogfish, tilefish , queen snapper, and a few other deep drop. Best tasting fish I have eaten to this day is that wahoo lighty grilled . Still rare in the middle. Never had it sashimi. Gotta try it. Sorry for the long a$$ comment Aaron
@@KeyWestWaterman Yes sir! You are a great guy. Just gotta laugh about a comment some of your fans , including me , said about Judah Puke. He made sick just watching one vid. He's a moron
we typically look for bait in clear water around some type of structure. doesn't always pan out, sometimes they just aren't around. and sometimes you get lucky. don't watch water temp a ton, but if its abnormally cold we try to find warmer water.
I’d like to see how the back of your boat is set up on different days you go out. Like bartending or A surgeons table everything has a specific place. Reach for it without looking and it’s there. At least I would think it’s like that?! Great video! -Angelo Charleston Sc.

ill be honest it is alot hard than we make it look. definitely one of the most difficult fish to spear! but yes I do run wahoo spearfishing charters in the winter. www.dibsonbottomkeywest.com
The Hawaiian name for wahoo is “Ono”, but we prefer “O-yeah”!😂 Ono means “tasty” or “good to eat”...and that’s perfect for wahoo! So good. Still on my spearo bucket list (caught many trolling)...I’ve shot AT them but not landed one yet. I need a breakaway setup too, it’s very disheartening to watch your gun disappear into the blue when it’s part of the floatline system as a big kingfish, AJ, or yellowtail (pacific) streaks away because the shot didn’t stone them. Hunting bluewater I run 2 of those Rob Allen floats with a big game bungee between them, for less chance of tear-out if I grab float two. Great vid Aaron, thanks for sharing it.🤙

So cool!!! Im not a spear fisherman but i would Love to catch wahoo drifting with live bait or whatever... I noticed you have a larger flashing Fish attractor hanging below the boat... Can you give a little insight on how to make one of those and what parts you use? Is that how u find the wahoo? Or do u look for them on the finder? If u have a related video on how to find the wahoo please include the link. Thanks A!
yea we use flashers, they just help the fish get close, there obviously needs to be some in the area! but I don't make them but you can, anything mirror or reflective. I buy mine from a company called murk crew flashers on Facebook or instagram. I like to support small business and theirs last longer than most!
Question, is the float line attached to the shaft line all the time or do you somehow attach it as you need it? Either way, how does that work? If it is attached to the float all of the time, I guess it is NOT connected to the gun? If it is NOT attached to the float the entire time, how do you attach it after shooting the fish? Thanks.
the float line is attached to the shooting line and the float at all times. when you shoot, nothing is attached to the gun it just breaks away, instead of attaching the shooting line to a line guide. hope that makes sense lol

Why do you drain the fish? Does it attract sharks?
Blood spoils the quality of the meat. Bleed the fish for the best tasting meat.
correct, makes for better quality meat. and sharks can detect the blood. but its not something that sets them off. we deal with it all the time!
@Key West Waterman.. How many flashers do you take with you, and how many have sunk that you lost?
