Thank you for looking!
i just got one of these machines..and found your video ..Loved it! thank you for filming this ..great job with the feed back :)
i watched it 3 times
There is definitely a learning curve with washer dryer combos I know from past experience.
My washer/dryer combo won’t fill with water. We have check water supply, filters, pump, and everything tested fine. Any suggestions
@@timcandela704 they don’t fill that it hits the glass very little water is visible. other than that I don’t know maybe yours is defective I hate to say.
It would appear to similar to the Haier combo. Which makes sense since Haier owns GE appliances now.
Just got these so far I love them
Was the cloth very dry? Or still some moisture
I been having them for almost 4 yrs and I just love em
I have that model. It stops mid cycle. How to troubleshoot?
I like this machine. But I have an Error says : Supply H20. Any help ?!
Have you ever used the soak function?
Thanks for sharing
We like ours. How do you pause a wash/dry and unlock the door to add/remove clothes mid cycle? How do you turn off the door lock mechanism? I read to push start/pause and the “Soil and temp”, but did not unlock mid cycle?
Does the cloth completely dry? Or some moisture
Thanks for the info. Can you please comment how that machine has been doing for the last few months? Did you like it or not?
I have one and it’s okay. If you’re one person who only has a few items to wash it works well. However I find it extremely difficult to dry larger loads of things like towels. It takes hours to dry your items.
But does it fold the clothes too?
How do you open the water filter?
Can this be hooked to the sink?
it looks like it does very low noise, please comment on that please
Hello! I got a FC1 error and note sure why? Does anyone know what this is about? Thanks!
Blessings, Your washing machine is GFQ14ESSNWW I would like to know your opinion after long experience. dry well?
Hi you may not see this comment, but I need help!! I moved into my college apartment and they gave me this washer/dryer combo. I’m just now getting the hang of it after watching this video (it was a life saver). I’m just confused as to if you use dryer sheets or not? Please let me know! I know I can put them in if I do the drying separately from the wash cycle. Also, is there a compartment I can clean lint out of? I can’t seem to find one and I’m afraid of the lint from the dryer getting built up. Thank you!
The lint screen is on the front, bottom, right side.....watch out, water will come out of there also. That's where the emergency door opener is also. Sure, put dryer sheets in there, just open it up when it starts to dry.
You do not need dryer sheets.
Set your washer machine to quick wash.
It only takes 3 and half hours for one load.....
How do you get the lock sign off or out of lock mode, it won’t allow the knob to select a setting
How the hell do you unlock the door from not unlocking?!?!?! Wants to dry my clothes for 2 hours.....
I need to know this as well!
It has a built in Safety that will NOT let you open the door during drying cycle. This keeps you from getting steam burns. Great question though.
The MANUAL explains how to open the door during mid drying cycle. The stainless drum gets hot enough to actually burn your fingers or arms. When you want to open the door….hit pause….and WAIT….the safety lock will disengage after the drum has cooled down enough not to BURN you. Unfortunately, this can take possibly 2 minutes until you hear the door lock click. The manual is LONG, but reading it will make the machine use a dream! I wouldn’t trade it for anything in a small space. Also, it takes almost twice as long as a regular wash/dry cycle because it’s not 220 volts like a regular dryer. It runs in a 110 volt circuit ( remember high school science: 1/2 the power input means twice the run time)…and if you pick “auto extra dry”…things will be more dry afterwards….and if you pick “continued tumble”, it will tumble back and forth every 5 minutes or so to prevent wrinkles after the dryer cycle is done..until you open the door. The technical manual writers should put these explanations at the BEGINNING of the manual so people can get the best out of an AMAZING machine!
@@jamesfrederick99 never had that happen to me on any dry I'm just trying to unwrinkle a single shirt there is no excuse for not being able to over ride the lock
Cannot get it open even after the cycle is done for hours???? Any advice
When I push start the word door pops up but it’s a brand new washer
How to open the filter round cap?
Ok me and my roomates got this exact washing dryer and it has had a hard time drying things and i have already cleaned the filter and cleaned it top to bottem could someone please explain/help
How dry is the clothes
How do stop it?
Why won't it let you open the dryer during a dry cycle? The door remains locked even after you press pause.
What can you do when the water hose keep tangling up
But I got mine hooked to my kitchen sink
I've been looking for a demonstration video of this machine can you do a whole cycle please?
I’m sorry. I’ve already stored it in storage. Was there a certain question you had about it I could help answer?
Sorry I didn't reply sooner
I just wanted to know its it really heavy because I'm putting mine on wheels and connecting it to my sink water supply, And what tool did you use to remove the shipping bolts?
@@midnightwolf6134 I bought this used, so I didn't have any shipping bolts to remove. Yes, its quite heavy, so putting it on a furniture dolly would be ideal.
Did you get it to work? I just bought one and it doesn’t dry my clothes completely. I’m afraid I’m gonna have to buy another machine.
how does the dryer work where does the air go and does it have a lint filter
Would love an answer to this
@@zackfedormusici actually found out a while back the air goes out the waste pipe and the lint collets in the filter where it collects during a wash cycle
Does anyone in this thread know if we can turn the sound off? The dryer goes off late at night and is relentless unless you open the door and it would be cool just to fall asleep and do laundry in the morning. Lol
How do you get it to stop when the time isn't finished yet?

Why did you sell it?
Can the washing time be changed to less than two hours or even less?
I have the same question, too
My washer says “CanCELED” and I’ve never used it!!! Please help me 😅
Anyone else notice when he changed the dry setting, the spin speed reset?
Oh and for everyone out there stop wasting money on detergent and softener, simply use about 2tbls of baking soda "much cheaper and does the same job" and use distilled vinegar for the softener. You are welcome!
What do you do when the door doesn't open and say cf1

Unplug it, wait about 10-15 minutes. The machine will not open until it cools down. Then turn it back on to see if it can open but until then don’t Force it. There’s an option at the bottom of the machine where you clean the drain out, where you can pull on the white piece and the door will open like an emergency opener. Be cautious though because some water will spill out any time you open the drain.
’Drying issue. My clothes are moist wet after being in the dryer for over an hour and a half
I have the same problem. Can't seem to fix it.
Hello can anyone please help me. I have one of these and for some reason the lock symbol keeps flashing along with the start button. It won’t let me switch settings and everytime I try to switch settings the lock symbol flashes. What’s going on and how can I fix this? I need to wash and dry my clothes 😢

Of course we wanna know why you sold it
This was something I bought with the intention to resell on my eBay store.
Is it noisy when spinning? Thanks
Mine is super noisy. Even when I choose the lowest spin option.
When the washer/dryer combo are not drying properly what's going on with it I have one in my apartment it's been checked but still not drying clothes as usually
Also they take forever 25min means an hour
How do you open the pump drain at the bottom? Can you do a video on that? It says to use a coin, but it feels sealed shut.
You might have to use a small slotted screw driver (not “Phillips” head) and get a small bucket or bowl ready when you open the round door, because water will come out. There is also an emergency dryer door release, and you twist the interior knob counter clockwise to remove the trap (coins, key, paper clip, animal hair) which went through the cycle
It’s really an AMAZING machine, but you have to read the ENTIRE manual (if you don’t have it, GE has the entire manual online)
Same problem! I’m trying to open and feel like I’m about to break the plastic cover!!
Well, after trying many methods, I did snap it apart partially… but I found out all you have to do is insert something and press downwards with it because it’s got a hook latch type of closure. When you press downwards it moves the hook off from latching internally. Wish the manual explained a bit more how to open this 😢
Too add to this after trying many methods as well, insert a small coin like a nickel into the slot and the door will release and open
This takes forever and doesnt even heat the clothes, it “spins”. Thanks for raising my electric bill with these 6 hour clothes washing marathons ms landlord
wait what ? is this a new unit ? or
The “tumble dry” feature just spins with no heat to prevent the clothes from getting wrinkled in case you’re not ready to remove them immediately from the dryer. I’m not sure if this is why yours takes hours to dry
😂😂😂
Is this ventless?
no vent on the back its a condenser dryer system there's a water box on the top left that collects the residual water
Why does it take 2 hrs?
It runs on regular 110 volt household power (not special 220 volt like standard dryers require)…1/2 the power in means twice the time for the run cycle. Also since it doesn’t require you to have a vent to the outside, it take longer to evaporate the heat rather than simply put a hole in your wall and vent it outside ($$$)
Why won’t they unlock? You can unplug it and it still won’t open
The MANUAL explains how to open the door during mid drying cycle. The stainless drum gets hot enough to actually burn your fingers or arms. where the vent on dyer to clean out the lint
The round door at the bottom right of the machine. It doesn’t require an “every load” clean out like regular dryers do…most lint goes down the drain. But once per month use a small slotted screw driver ( not Phillips head) to open the door….have a small bucket or bowl or ver thick towel to catch the water which will also come out. Unscrew the filter to find any coins, key, paper clip, animal hair that went through the cycle
There is also a pull for emergency release of the dryer door if you can’t wait for the safety drum cooling off (as much as 2 minutes, to prevent burning your fingers or arm) to release the door mid cycle
@@josephdebes3060 thx vm for the info on the unit
My clothes stopped drying this week
The only thing I know what is wrong with this machine it's takes to darn long.
My set is always on quick wash...
If you time this washer dryer is awesome.
Takes multiple long ass dry cycles to get shit dry
These things are awful. You can fit like 5 items of clothing in there at one time and that's often too much, it takes 2hrs to clean it and the dryer is substandard to where everything is damp. Door stays locked randomly keeping clothes hostage. And its loud and uses a LOT of electricity. The cheap trick by every slumlord in America. "Look! A washer dryer combo in unit! Brand new!"

It shake like hell
Try choosing low or medium spin…it still vibrates, and I put hard foam rubber under the feet and between the unit and the wall…vibrates usually for 2 minutes 3x during a cycle
Anything that makes such claims, can't be great.
You will never get your clothes again
😂😂😂
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY
Takes multiple long ass dry cycles to get shit dry
Choose “auto extra dry”…/also it runs on 110 volt circuit in the USA ( not the usual 220 volt regular dryers use) : 1/2 the in going power, twice the drying time. Also since it doesn’t require a Vented hole in your wall, it has to EVAPORATE the water and pump it out through your drain
