Imagine actually watching the game and seeing the context of the incident. The only reason the incident unfolded is because Palmer was down on the ground for nearly two minutes after his Achilles got stomped on. Something these pundits keep failing to mention.

Nothing wrong with his celebration but that’s called youthful exuberance from someone with very little playing time in the first team. Players naturally level off from pure straight emotion like that. That’s the reality.

I only saw a very short video and at the time thought it looked bad on all players involved Jackson, Madueke including Palmer. But now I know that Palmer was on the bench, it is even worse for Palmer. When Palmer is not on the pitch, there should be another designated penalty taker. If it is the captain who went to fetch him to calm everybody, it was not a good decision. The referee should have distributed some yellow cards. Yeah, Palmer never misses but they were already leading. Why not giving the chance to someone else?
The fact Steve Bruce managed my team Newcastle still frightens me. He just had a noncommittal uninterested approach to managing us.

Steve Bruce is one of the worst managers in premier league history... his opinion on anything football related is worth absolutely nothing.
He talks about being selfish as a player, but he was both lazy and selfish as a manager too. Newcastle had to pay him off to get rid off him because he was inept and didn't even put in effort and was full of excuses. He's a clown.

@@danielrobins6497 a 40% win rate with lower half Premier league teams, with smaller budgets and squads etc, was not given the opportunities other undeserving managers were given, like solskjaer, like villas boas and other untried foreign managers! Given that he gained 4 promotions from the championship, and was ultimately given an impossible job at Newcastle, I think the man deserves a bit of credit and respect!!

Don't be an ass. First of all, he's the designated penalty taker. Secondly, he's in the golden boat race. Lastly and most importantly, Chelsea need a better goal difference to sit above Man u if they win their game in hand and why should Chelsea's best PK taker give the penalty away to the second best because we're winning. If anything you should be annoyed at the players arguing with the designated PK taker by the manager. This is pure hate if you ask me.
@@davidsampson3845 It's a team sport dummy, a team effort, with a hatrick u can give others a chance to score, forwards need goals to boost confidence. Chelsea was winning already he didn't have to be like that, plus he already had bonuses for three goal, let others have that as well.
