I got to see Mircea play at USC last year and he has been one of my all-time favorite players ever since. His playing is so free, expressive, confident, filled with joy and demonstrates a crystal clear, authentic connection to both the instrument and composition. Bravo, Mircea! This made me feel so happy to watch and listen to!
Bravo! That was such an incredibly intense performance on such a world class guitar! The composer, guitarist and the guitar all came to life. Brilliant!
Great performance!! you cant go wrong with the compositions of Nico Rojas. He wrote quite a few gems for the classical guitar that combine Cuban Filin (jazz influenced) music. Before Brouwer there was Nico Rojas!!
I get what you're saying. When you hear Ñico Rojas' version of this piece you want to dance to it, the guajira rythm and overall feeling are very prevalent. That doesn't happen with this rendition. Also, I think that the powerful in-your-face sound of this Ramírez sort of gets in the way of the voice differentiation, especially in the second half of the piece.
Who on earth gives this a thumbs down! Obviously not a guitar player. This is simply fantastic playing.
this is what I want to hear again! many, many times! BRAVO!!!
a very catchy dance like piece ,and well played ,the guitar sounds very nice too .
A difficult melodic music performed with an excellent technic and nuance. The performance was so energetic. Thanks for uploading.
That was incredible! Love the beautiful 1a too! Brand new classic"
Nice to seee that Jose Ramirez is still making fine sounding guitars decades after their Segovia heyday.

2020 model? Well, it's good to know Ramirez is still making good guitars!
Super ! :)
AMAZING MIRACLE
Super Super! Que rico!
супер!!!!!!
Mircea justifies his indulgence from his own playing by just playing so freaking great.
That guitar Looks large in size
lacks of flavor.
Explain
too schematized.
and when attempt to add feeling it is forced

It's an insult to musical instruments and music.
