NH has never been cheap as it's a nice place to live , the good thing is we can make a decent living wage here as the economy has been steady for the duration of my 47 years . If you're North of Concord and not in the "tourist trap areas " housing can be cheap but you'll have more issues finding work as its very sparse .

I’m actually contemplating moving to NH. Depending on where you move from, I think it’s significantly cheaper. I live in MN currently and we get absolutely decimated on taxes and house prices are pretty comparable here

Yeah, but the state makes their money somehow when they don't have sales or income tax..

I’m trying to figure out how the people that live there can afford housing.. unless they have been in a house for several years.
Or maybe many are coming from Massachusetts..

The living wages and the economy is strong and steady in NH for the most part . I'm a contractor that kills it up here without even trying to find work averaging $2,000+ a week during the busy months working alone , I could make even more if I wanted to but I don't need to .

Most of us live on the NH/MA border and just work in MA. Higher salaries, but cheaper homes compared to MA....

Cody. Can you tell us where the citizens work to make enough money to afford New Hampshire.
Also appreciate your honesty. If I look in your area I will contact you.

Thanks for watching Don. There's a lot of people moving to NH from out of state. Many of those are working remotely and have large salaries. If you were looking for high paying jobs in NH, I'd suggest staying within Southern NH.

Not all of Manchester nor Nashua is a dump . The problem is people just drive by to not experience the city , is it what it was 30 years ago ? No , but it's far from being a dump compared to most American cities .

Yes, but MA is facing an issue that NH is not - lack of homes. All homes right now are being bought up by real estate agencies, greedy landlords, etc and being rented out for far above what their mortgage rate is... On top of that, MA is also decimating your checks with the absurd state income tax... Go onto any of the home buying sites and you can see that the homes are severely lacking in MA. A $350k home in MA is a small 2x4, whereas in NH, it is a decent sized home.
Just do what I do - work in MA, take the bigger salary but with more money coming out, and live in NH. Much cheaper that way... Also, Nashua is not that bad lol..
