Have you been to either of these countries? If not, which would you visit first?
Boquette then Trinidad - most beautiful places 😍
Although I am retired military, I have not traveled much. After the pandemic, I dont even know if we will. Our travel plans are restricted to UA-cam. Before the pandemic, I wanted to travel to eat local food and to learn more about the slave trade. I was born in Panama, but I think my roots after family enslavement are all over the Americas, and I wanted to explore them.
Papa you have to come to Colón for real west indian vybz🤪🇵🇦🥥
@@JulitoBn Doh worry, ah comin! 😁
superb video here, well done
I spent 3 months in Tobago doing sea turtle conservation in 2010 and it was the best summer of my life. Spent my days surfing the reef break at Mt Irvine beach.
That's one of the top spots in the Caribbean right there bro, you got lucky! Hope you make it back one day...
Tobago, My Irvine, gosh I remember the days we used to walk there from our home in Buccoo point. Nice beach. We used to get adventurous and do grange Bay lol. If you want a real tourist experience, visit Tobago.
You are doing a great job the ministry of tourism should open an opportunity for you my brother ✊🏿✊🏿🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
#Goals
Love how he did a great job comparing both countries without being bias or offending anyone
I lived in Panama for 7 years. I just moved back to the states in January after my husband passed away. I miss it.
I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you come back to visit 🙏🏽
I'm from Trinidad and this video made me feel to go outside like a tourist
i instantly knew you were Trinidadian from the accent.
This is awesome! Thank you! I am a Panamanian working for Trinidad and Tobago, and you have made it easy to explain the similarities.
Happy to be of assistance!
enjoy Boquete. Make sure you go to Boca Chica. This is whale season, and they provide a spectacular show that everybody will enjoy narrated by you. Enjoy Bocas, and yes! Guna Yala may be Tobago on steroids! You will love it
I'm a Canadian living in Trinidad for the past (almost) 2 years.
I would love to go to Panama. It seems very similar to Trinidad, indeed. ♡
Facts
Welcome to our Isle. Hope you experience love and openness x
When is this 4 day Carnival??
Panama is more similar to Jamaica than it is to Trinidad and Tobago, but that's just my opinion.
as a Trinidadian I'm in love with Panama. reminds me of Trinidad in way that's why I like it so much
I lived in Trinidad for 3 years. I miss it so much!!
Girl in Toronto here who lived and worked in Trinidad and has travelled to Panama, now planning the move down to Boquete! Nothing could have secured my intention more than this video. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. We 'limin when I reach! 😍
Leh we lime! :P
Oh yes its a good place i love been here and living
I am from Trinidad, I visited Panama twice, the shopping is better there. Great video btw!
This makes for an incredible tourism video, well done with it!
Very true
Ministry of Tourism...pay the man
I concur
Took the words out my mouth
He did not lying...

Big up Trinidad, Big up Panama, no comparison possible Respect my friend.
I was born in England but my parents were from Trinidad ..I grew up in Trinidad from the age of 5 to 19 yrs old .. I came back to England in 1994 and spend 6 yrs . When my mum passed away I went back to Trinidad from 2000 to 2015 ...all my 4 kids were born in Trinidad . I am now back in England but I still got two of my kids living there with their dad ..I love Trinidad and used to play carnival and go jouvert . My kids played carnival from the age of 2 ..big up for this video it was wonderful to watch thanks a lot ..I am home sick now lol 😘
Thank you Rich for making your comments about Trinidad and Tobago as well as Panama based on experience. Alot of people often bash their countries when in reality have not ventured to more than 3 or 4 places on either islands. Thanks for Keeping it real. Big up to ALL Caribbean countries❤🔥
Caribbean in d house 💪🏽
Wow Panama is beautiful ... Wud love to visit one day, thanks very much for showing this video...
I'm from Panama and have been to Puerto Rico and Antigua and Barbuda. I already know about Panama and thank you for representing us so well. But I had no idea Trinidad & Tobago was so beautiful and I can see how a Panamanian would also feel at home in Trinidad & Tobago. Makes me wanna go visit too! Basically you show how compatible we are! It's no wonder why I've gotten along with every Trinidadian I've met! Keep up the great vLogs! Oh, how long did it take you to become such as great video drone operator? Is it ever scary when your drone is so far away you can't see it? I'm afraid to let mine out of my sight.
Thanks for the kind words about droning! I've been flying them for about 6/7 years for work, but it's always a great idea and best practice to have line-of-sight with the drone even if you're flying far away.
That being said, it's scary every time my drone is more than 5 feet off the ground, I just push through the fear to get stuff done! Ha ha ha ha...
The fact that he did a video non biased, and so fair, ive never been to Panama in from trinidad born and raised but wow Panama is to die for,i had no idea we had so many similarities,Panama is now on my bucket list,Panama people blessings to you all from trinidad and tobago
@@bullishrecords3554 ok, everybody do-see-do! Now we'll see Panamanians visiting Trinidad & Tobago and people from Trinidad & Tobago visiting Panama and it will all be a blur. lol
I already did know though that you are from the Mecca of the Steel Band. Nice sounds. I have always wanted to see a proper steel band in person. I have only seen one on video or from recordings. But I'm sure that does not give it proper justice. :D
@@bullishrecords3554 Thank you! You are more than welcome.
Lol...the Policia don't play in my country! When they say lock dung....dey mean lock dung!!!!
Thank you so much for doing my country so proud. It literally brought a tear to my eye to see a brother from a country I happen to love dearly speak so beautifully of my country. Please take time to research the afro-carribean heritage Panamá has to offer, you find yourself in many families there
I intend to! Thanks for the kind words, and welcome! 🙏🏽
I had no clue Panama was SO BEAUTIFUL. Thanks Rich for sharing.
Wow ur vlog super nice 👍🏼 welcome Panama and very nice see ur vlog. Keep up show take care and have good weekend and stay safe or stay at ur friend who you trust don’t go out on weekend ok 👍🏼
Trinidadian living in NYC and kove to travel. I have never been to Panama. However, you have just given me an idea to visit Panama once the Pandemic is over. Thanks man.
Loved the beauty and then some of this video. My old gramps was station there during the Korean War. He liked it a lot. Granny USA 🇺🇸
Thank you for sharing, I'm from Panama, not far from Boquete. After watching this video I definitely want to visit T&T. Thank you for sharing.
When I find a great Trini youtuber!!!!! 😍 Issa vibe!!!! 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
A breath of fresh air, happy people living in harmony.
Who in God's name took the time to hit that dislike button....bro you opened my eyes ...just added Panama to my list of destinations when ever the world reopens... blessings
I clicked on the video...heard ah Trini accent and subscribed one time...loved the video and how you presented both countries ....
If you get chance, check out the Panamanian calypso scene. They have managed to maintain a very traditional style of calypso that was brought over with the West Indian workers who came to build the Panama Canal. It is believed by some that it has even influenced the development of reggaeton music.
I am from Trinidad and Tobago but currently living in Panama.
Government wise Trinidad needs to take notes
Hit me up on IG, let's talk...
@@AdventureRich I am not on IG ha ha but only on what's up
I worked in the us for 14 years and married to a Panamanian.

Awesome video!!!!!!!🙌 I am a Trinidadian 🇹🇹 and you did a wonderful job with this video. Never knew Panama 🇵🇦 was so beautiful. Hopefully I can visit one day.
Great video! Trinis never leave the pan music, so beautiful. ❤ from Jamaica
The pan is something we're very proud of :)
Bless up! Love inna d house...
Coincidentally, (and I'm probably going to get some hate for this) I'm actually not a huge fan of the steelpan. Ever since I was very young, it appeared to be a bit jarring and shrill for my taste. But I'm extremely proud of the history of it, and the contribution and unique sound it has brought to global instruments.
I personally prefer the soothing sounds of a "Hang" drum, but to each is own. Just an opinion...
See example here: ua-cam.com/video/747hJQNJpeg/v-deo.html
And here:
ua-cam.com/video/9oVbCp-WGWY/v-deo.html
@@AdventureRich Lol no worries! I don't eat ackee nor jerk pork so I'm pretty sure they're thinking of revoking my Jamaican card. I had never heard of the hang drum before. You're right, it does sound lovely.
I came across your video with the nomadic project and loved it!!! I'm always amazed at how my Panama is viewed and experienced through the eyes of a visitor. Especially when I learn of places I've never explored! Thank you. Asi es mi Panama 🇵🇦
Glad you enjoyed it!
It just keeps getting better.!
You got my subscribe off of the cinematography and story telling. Well done!
The B-Roll is excellent 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🙌🏾🙌🏾
What's a B-Roll?
@@LianeSpicer thats all the clips EXCEPT the one you see him talking ( that is called "A roll") ....... Secondary clips are called "B ROLL".... it helps tell the story better.... gives you context.
@@TeamOise Ahhh... Thanks for the explanation. I agree totally;
First time subscriber and I have to say you did a good job in this video .You made me proud to be a Trini and maybe one day I could visit Panama.
Welcome! 🙏🏽🇹🇹
That was so informative and visually enticing. Thanks for creating such an excellent coverage of both places. I am even more eager to visit Panama. 😍
Thank you! Trini here. I really enjoyed this. Love love the comparison. What you doing outside? Lolll. Be safe.
All this boils down to is that God is great look how amazing those two places are. Kudos to you Rich I love Tobago hope Rona know seh I need to visit Panama after this wonderful intro. Hail from Jamaica
This was Amazing! I've always wanted to go to Panama! As soon as our boarders are open and it's safe to travel I'm rounding my crew and taking a trip!!
Your editing and music and drone shots and vlogging in front of the camera all just blows me away! Phenomenally done!
Welldone!
But I wonder, how is it possible not to have made your homework before visiting Panama, young man?! To be surprised by the nowadays Panama city...and all the rest.
I am 71 and I even knew how to get to the bus at Tocumen airport, which is not quite obvious... UA-cam, and you can see and experience it ALL! Now you are on the track, luckily!
I wish, I could do all the stuff, you represent! At least I can enjoy others doing it. I am following those superb guys, the Nomadic movement, lovely, lovable!
Wish you all the great things in being young!
Thank you for a beautiful video and for saying those kind words about my country 🇵🇦. We are not perfect, but we are warm and welcoming people and we are happy you are here. Enjoy your adventures and please continue with your videos, I don't think you even know how natural and good you are doing this. Blessings 🙋🤗
Thank you! It's definitely a pleasure being here...
Great video, really well presented, I'm from Trinidad, so it's nice to see someone from here being a great youtuber. Take care
Island life is a special way to live, moved to Hawaii 22 yrs ago and live in the most remote area. True country life with more cows than people. Seems like parts of Panama have some of that spirit too when watching the Nomadic's videos.
So glad you didn't get into trouble in your search for adventure, Thank You for your efforts but prefer you stay safe wherever you are calling home. Enjoyed your work here - Thanks again!
Do you live on Niihau? That would be an interesting UA-cam video.
You have been so delicate & respectful with your comments !!
Very professional in all aspects.
Thank you very much and welcome to our country.
Trinidad is beautiful, and those carnivals.....man, I wish I could visit someday.
Feel at home.
Not sure where to start, there's so much on UA-cam, it can be difficult to navigate to quality. I'm glad I followed nomadic movement, and equally happy I gave your channel a view! I've spent a lot of time in Costa Rica, I never considered Panama. Perhaps the negative images of Noriega from my youth, the way mainstream media can poison our minds. So now I'm not only planning a trip to Trinidad and Tobago, but most certainly Panama! Many blessings to you my brother!
Excellent Video, Excellent Channel!
Great Video Rich, I'm here from Nomadic Movement. Looking forward to more of your content.
Very well balanced and informative video! Saludos 👍
Really really appreciate this travel vlog. I'm always looking at travel videos on UA-cam and I'm very proud to see one of my fellow Trinbagonians presenting his experiences. Especially at the quality of your production! Looking forward to a lot more. All the best man!
Rich, I really liked your video. I lived in Panama 30 years ago. Do a vlog on Punta Chame. It has a mile long sand bar that you can walk out on at low tide. I caught a large corvina there and it was delicious.
The apartments on the beach in this video are on Punta Chame. But yes, I'll feature there in a separate vlog, thanks for the suggestion and support! 🙏🏽
Very cool dude. Now I have to look into more Trinidad videos :o
read some info and watched a few more vids and now I have to add Trinidad to places I want to go check out :D
Tourist board in both countries should pay you. Impressive.
#Goals
Thank you for the amazing video. I'm planning to move From Texas to Panama but have always been interested in visiting Trinidad for a beach vacation. United has a daily flight from IAH to POS which is very convenient, but I don't know how easy it would be to get from the airport (POS) to the island of Trinidad. It's on my bucket list though.
The airport is on the main island (Trinidad), so you'd already be here. To go to Tobago, you'd have to hop back on a plane or take a ferry over.
@@AdventureRich Thank you for the reply. I'll check it out. Hope to visit the Island soon.
This is an amazing video very well edited. I've seen alot of great vids on Panamá but I gotta say yours has be top 3 well done 😁👍
I appreciate that a lot! 🙏🏽
Love this video... I am eager to watch your other vlogs!!!!
You definitely made me want to go Panama so badly now 😍 it's beautiful Rich #goodjob👏🏾
Wow Thanks for this Rich I would love to visit Panama to do some hikes and really get to see the land the people the culture...... My Brother lives in Aruba and he has been to Panama for work and told I must come..... He Swears by the high quality of their coffee..... All in all an amazing video of both countries..... Makes me proud to be from the caribbean...... I understand that alot of Trinidadians migrated during the war days and never returned to Trinidad..... so we have alot of history with Panama not to mention the bitter/sweet worldcup football rivalry over the last 50years.....
Let me just say my second home is Trinidad! I've been traveling to the island since my tweens since my step dad is Trini. I love the country, the culture and the people. The food is debateable, I'm Guyanese so I can't give you that one..it just doesn't match up lol.
But to the point of this comment, I've never seen the country this beautifully as yoi've protrayed it! And I'm sure that my best friend - who lives in Trinidad -would say the same as well. Awesome work. Awesome representation. Already planning my 2021 travels to the island and a special trip to Panama.
I'm in tears. I love this video so much excellent details about both countries can't wait to travel . Trini fammmmm!!!
I'm in tears tooo! :D
Trini to d bone!
So glad you started your vlog.💗
Ok....I'm Trinibagonian and I must say that you do your country a great service my friend. This is what a lot of tourists that come here miss completely. Nice that you can show them from our point of view. Panama though, my god I had no idea that place was so nice. Will definitely be traveling there after this covid ends. Good job my brother....keep it up.
Hey Rick,Trini in New York.
When I meet people from Panama in the States,I always feel a warm connection.I felt that feeling like they're family of the, maybe because of their multi-ethnicities as TnT,
and mainly the Panamanian loves
the Trini accent.
Bro,you're doing a wonderful job of
showing alot of love and similarities of these two nations.
I support you 100%,God Bless and Be Safe.
Please do a video on Jamaica and TnT.
You looking to put me in hot water now! 😅😅
Thx for the love and support, and welcome! 🙏🏽

Informative and inviting. Makes me want to explore T&T some more and also visit Panama. Well done Richard.
I love this video 😍....you have totally captured the essence of Trinidad and Tobago in your description and you have sparked a fire in me to visit Panama for sure !!!!
Amazing- thank you for sharing 🙏 😊
Rich .. You are doing such a great job . I enjoy seeing your vlog . Keep up the good work .
Very Insightful. Panama is my second home! but Trini to d bone! San Blas isles are truly a sight to behold
I wish to explore Panama, only got a transit flight there but the airport is nice though. I did had four hours to kill in the Panama Airport before heading back to Trinidad and Tobago so I explored the whole airport. It have a chapel/mini church, I don't if it have that in other airports around the world but from what I saw it was nice. Pilots and crew members came and prayed before leaving to go to their destinations (Even some passengers prayed too)
Keep up.the great work
This was great
I have visited Panama (PTY) multiple times and i Live in TT.
The main difference is marketing and management of the tourism industries. Both nations offer similar ideals. However Panama is well.managed and more tourist friendly.
The Panama Gov't has done well in making Copa airlines Marketable (they now fly to most nations in the americas). Visiting the many tourist sites is easy and well managed.
Trinidad and Tobago has a lot to offer (i stand by my opinion that Tobago has some of the most beautiful beaches ...Englishman's bay. And her in Trinidad Las cuevas to Blanchisseuse. Just beautiful.
But PTY manages well (there is corruption), however their infastructure is years ahead of TT .
What i fell in love with PTY is their ease and friendliness, you could walk on their foreshore at 10 pm and feel.safe.
I could go on....lol
Both nations have a lot to offer, but PTY wins by management and ease of tourism.
Very well said! Trinidad tourism could take a page or two from their book...
Beautiful video! I would love to travel to these places but for now I will be looking for your next vlog.
Very well done Rich!
I had the experience of visiting Playa Venao on 12/27/19 for the day and thought it was something out of a fairytale! It was absolutely gorgeous although the waves were very calm that day. I cannot wait for your blog about it now.
