- If you've never been to the floats located below each dam of this Mississippi River, you should seriously consider it. It is one of the most scenic, and definitely the fishiest place I've ever been. Obviously I don't travel much, so take that with a grain of dirt. Last time out Mother Nature reared her ugly self, and ruined almost all of my footage. It cost me financially, but more importantly cost me experiences to share with you guys, and look back at myself. Time for REDEMPTION. "The Best Dam Float Show" starts now.

Been there two dozen times and never seen a fish of that size. Usually go for the walleye in perch with the occasional big Flatty and sturgeon.

@@PigPatrolTV Everyone on that float is amazing, started fishing there about 4 years ago. Make at least 2 trips a year since then. Biggest perch and sturgeon I’ve ever caught have been on that float. Tight lines man!! Good luck the rest of the season! If you find some time during ice season and wanna hit some trophy bluegill, hmu!

Below swan falls dam in Idaho. Was roughly 7 foot 100ish pounds I’d say. Put up one hell of a fight and jumped out of the water.

The amount of fish that are snagged on that float is crazy, not really much one can do in that situation besides release. Most of the fishing techniques used out there will cause you to snag a few. Is what it is!
Come on up to this fish factory and try NOT to snag one. It’s completely unintentional and he did everything right.

Love the fact they are actually using a sling to weigh the fish etc! Maybe you should invest in one and a tripod for weighing some of those big fish you've had previously!

That’s one of me and my friends favourite fishing spots in the summer! We catch lots of white bass up closer to the spillway on the rocks!
I lived in La Crosse for several years. Goose Island was my favorite fishing spot.
