Yes lovely lady, we in the UK have had to bend over backwards regarding knife laws because of the imported 'stabby types', nice collection of decent knives!
Wow Vanessa what a collection. I must admit I love knives {not in a psycho way} when I was a kid my father collected knives. I used to spend hours practising throwing them at my fathers shed door. Obviously that didn't go down too well!.
I am moose Cree Native American a long time viewer…I enjoy studying other cultures and histories … aboriginals, all peoples. Thank you for thinking of me.
Wonderful reasonable large collection of knives and even I can't choose a favourite knife because everyone has a purpose of doing something, the family heirloom bayonet was for close up combat if you run out of bullets then you have your bayonet to fight with to the last man or woman standing , looks more WW1 than WW2 it maybe belonged to someone in the German home guard at the end of WW2 if the Russians come knocking on your door Vanessa and you have run out of bullets you have your bayonet. It's good to see you looking good at the table . ❤Vanessa.
You have a very nice collection. I have about 50 fixed blade knives and over 500 folders. Knife collecting can become an addiction. Lol. Glad to see people all around the world using and enjoying knives for outdoor activities. The knives your children gave you, your Grandfathers pocket knife and the WWII bayonet are my favorites, sentimental and historic values are priceless. The only knives I keep in my safe are the pocket knives my Father and Grandfathers carried everyday of their adult lives. I can't replace them so to me they are worth more than mere money.
Great collection with all the variety. Like your idea of using the knife more than just looking at it. I am a knifemaker as well and hope the buyers of mine use the knives.
Oh man, That Bavarian knife is definitely my favorite, absolutely gorgeous. 😯 Love the decoration, the fact that the handle is made of antler, the spirit, culture, and art of it as well as the utility. My father went to Germany with my grandfather when he was a child and they got a few handmade Bavarian style knifes with antler handles which he will pass down to me. They are not like yours though, that is very unique and special. Love all the leather and wood on the other ones as well. What bullshit you can’t wear it on you traditionally anymore 😡
Yes, we do know Felix Immler: not only does he have an active channel right here on UA-cam, but he literally wrote the English-language book on Swiss Army Knives, which I was able to find at REI stores in America within the past year or two.
A knife collection video will always beat out a bug out bag video. I was just about to watch a video on someone's bug out bag and your video was on the side, so you won.
My goodness! What a great collection, and what an excellent presentation of your beloved knives. You have such enthusiasm for each one, and it was so nice to see you so engaged. What a great video, Vanessa! And that sword of yours has you written all over it.... it came to you on it's own. So very nice to see you again, Vanessa, and I want to also wish you a happy Christmas time, and many more really great knives! AL
Tick Removal Tip: If a water bottle top is available. Fill the top with water or alcohol. Place the top filled over the Tick & leave the Tick submerged in the liquid. Since Tick's breathe through their abdomin, the Tick will retreat from the skin in search of Oxygen.
Estimating about the number of knifes, which have been collected by you over all these years, my guess was "quite a lot" ! But THIS amount, spread out on the table for presenting, has really impressed me. And probably many other long-term YT-followers also 👍! Best wishes from Klausi 😊 !
I love the way you said "massive tool", talking about the rescue hammer. 😂 l have amassed quite a collection of knives over my lifetime as well. I have a lot of small slip joint pocket knives but also some one handed openers, larger lock backs and fixed blades. I have the first knife I ever bought for myself, a Western brand fixed blade hunting knife that I bought when I was 11 or 12 years old back in 1976 or '77. I should probably thin the herd a bit, many of them haven't seen any use in years, I have my favorites and don't really use most of my collection. I will say Opinel No.7 and No.8 knives are the perfect size to take on road trips or just leave in the car. I bought a No.7 years ago to keep in my car because I was on the road a lot for work, many days I spent more time driving than actually working and ate a lot of junk food and convenience store food and always seemed to need a knife to cut up snacks, apples, cheese and whatnot. I loaned it to my wife once when she took a cooler packed with food with her on a 600 mile road trip to visit her parents. When she got home a couple weeks later she said she wanted to keep it, so I had to buy another one for myself.😂 Now each vehicle has an Opinel that stays in it.
The bayonet is pre ww1 its is for the gewer 98 rifle it is a sitengewer 1905 1st pattern with a missing quillon used throughout ww1 and wiemar period Forgive my spelling It will have a date and royal cypher on the spine
Great variety of knives, That sword is awesome and I like the bayonet as well. I am currently shopping for a Bowie knife that I will use for some bushcrafting here in the pacific northwest U.S.A Thanks for the video!!
A nice (small) collection. Everybody has a different taste in knives and that's a good thing. I have a large collection and only a small section of them are 'users'. You like TOPS knives and I absolutely dislike them. I do like the look of leather sheaths and a wooden handle but for what I do they are both not practical at all so they are not in my 'user' category but some are in my collection. But a nice oversight in YOUR collection. I would need at least 5 more tables to present them all.
Incredible collection, thank you for showing! I have several on my list but haven’t seen them except in catalog. Seeing them handled helps a lot Did you have any Bark River? Try the Aurora for small hands the grip is like a kitchen knife but better…and try to get the Scandi (vex) for the best of everything.
You are such a cool women nice video. When I moved I sold a bunch of military items and knives, now I wished I had not done that,I have replaced some. Take care.
Hallo Vanessa 👊🏼 A stunning and very poignant collection, especially because of the family connections 🫂♥️ I wish you a wonderful Christmas🎄❄️ Thanks for sharing, Gus 🍻 🇬🇧 🤝🏻 🇩🇪
What a great little video you have put up thank you for putting up the links that is very useful I know some time ago you showed your family bayonet I'm so happy you have that knife the best one I think just if it could talk now that would be really something take good care friend stay warm⚔🪵🔥🌝
😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳🤯. WOW THATS A LIT KNIVES 🔪. But glad you had fun collecting them. I still love you and your family my spirit guide. I’m soooo glad I found you on UA-cam. But shared this in Facebook with my family here. Until next time my Princess SEMPER FI
Cool collection🤘🏻! Wild! Very beautiful (but not grampa's lol too funny😂). Blade lover!!! I have two Smith&Wesson folding knives, a GK24 (GeorgiaKnife) folding knife w glass breaker tip, a Tac-Force folding knife, another generic pocket knife, a Husky lock-back utility knife, a Buck knife, and Sheffield letterman tool w the pliers and eight tools. I like those small magnetic blades you showed. (No folding blades over 3 inches allowed in my state Calif.) I have a long sharpener too. They are very useful tools, usually someone else needs a blade, or to borrow to use the letterman, more than I seem to use!✌🏼🔪
The only thing I need a knife for is opening my Amazon packages. I know the moldy old timers all carried pocket knives constantly. You have a massive, costly collection. You didn't like Grandpa's knife because he used it to cut his toenails.
I am also a knife craftsman, in Italy however, I have published a new example in this new account of mine, maybe if you pop in to see it and tell me if you might like it?
I can't really say which is my favorite knife, maybe Puma. About my own knifes, I fell like Kabar US Marines is the best. I also use Tanto style knives.
Yes lovely lady, we in the UK have had to bend over backwards regarding knife laws because of the imported 'stabby types', nice collection of decent knives!
So terrible what's been going on in the UK!
In Canada the Premier of the Province of Manitoba is about to ban Machetes! Getting much worse in Canada!
Europeans should be teaching their children Martial Arts starting at 5 years of age.
Exactly. As she said. “Knife crimes, not done by Germans..”
So sad lots of scared teens who can't fight resorted to carrying knives and ruined it for the responsible collectors/bushcraft people
Wow beautiful collection. Thanks for the show
thank you for sharing your using knife collection
Always good to have a knife for every occasion, thank you for sharing.
I've been collecting for 43 years, knives, hatchets, tomahawks, axes and swords. Way over 100 ;)
Wow Vanessa what a collection. I must admit I love knives {not in a psycho way} when I was a kid my father collected knives. I used to spend hours practising throwing them at my fathers shed door. Obviously that didn't go down too well!.

Beautiful knife collection Vanessa. I also love your aquarium!
I was viewing the aquarium too 🤣🫡🇬🇧

Very nice . Yes, it would surprise me if I put all my blades out on a table . 👍
beautiful collection, not sure what would work for me. But found that you have your Grandfathers knife pretty sweet. :)
I have Cold Steel Kukri plus, 1917 , Trail Master modules, they work well. Nice collection 💯👍👍

Cool collection🤘🏻! Wild! Very beautiful (but not grampa's lol too funny😂). Blade lover!!!

La mia donna ideale❤
You stole that sword in one or another. LOL
Where's the flat Irons, or draw knives? Where's the leather tools?
My offspring will laugh. Ha ha. Still alive.
Always carry a machete outdoors.
Flashback of hair curling iron for not spelling correctly lol.
muchas gracias vanessa por el video en español,estas muy guapa de vikinga,un abrazo
Nothing like a good shank. I need a new file knife. However to spell that. My brain full of numbers. Not letters.
and I thought my collection was big
The only thing I need a knife for is opening my Amazon packages. I know the moldy old timers all carried pocket knives constantly. You have a massive, costly collection. You didn't like Grandpa's knife because he used it to cut his toenails.
my knife is for cheese
I am also a knife craftsman, in Italy however, I have published a new example in this new account of mine, maybe if you pop in to see it and tell me if you might like it?
Had to hurry and make kids back in viking days. Welp, 13 and bleeding. Better hurry.
No. Threatened. Youll spell right quick.
Personally I think that what you got on the table is 90% crap......The only really decent knife (And you disrespect it) is you grandfather !!!!!!
I can't really say which is my favorite knife, maybe Puma. About my own knifes, I fell like Kabar US Marines is the best. I also use Tanto style knives.
Very good,I have 667.
