Hey there! 2 year update: these sliders definitely slowed down the wear, but didn't eliminate it altogether. I ended up going a different route and I'm VERY happy with the new fix. A video with the fix is available here: ua-cam.com/video/jDvF9wbQbO0/v-deo.html
Shock covers or outerwears helped my rubbing. They are going to touch some as any dual rate spring will. Even my stock springs rubbed some but keeping the dirt and grit off made it not wear as bad. Mine is a talon x4 live valve. 80 bucks for 4 covers
These are working pretty well and the wear has slowed substantially, but they are still wearing down slightly. I have found another solution and the parts just arrived yesterday. I hope to put those on within the next couple of weeks, but I'm pretty confident that this next solution by Suspension Armor will fix it once and for all!
For how much the shock therapy springs are youd think the spacers would be decent....mine is doing the same thing so i guess imma have to order those spacers as well and spend a couple hours swapping em out
The spacers were OEM and Shock Therapy reuses them. Be sure to watch my new video about Suspension Armor. It is a much better permanent solution to completely fix the spring rub. ua-cam.com/video/jDvF9wbQbO0/v-deo.html
Great video. After watching this I had to have the agm sliders. I also had a large amount of movement with my ST sliders that I didn’t like and couldn’t “clock” the springs to where I liked them. AGM helped fix the issue done and now I can just change the insert.
Seems to have solved the issue! I intend to disassemble them on my next service interval, but I'm not quite there yet. From a quick glance it would appear the rubbing has been minimized so I am hopeful!
I wish the springs were a larger diameter. It probably would have fixed the problem. I'm still running these slides, but they have started to wear and the springs are starting to touch the shock bodies again. Pretty sure I'll be running suspension armor in the near future!
So far so good. I have a few hundred miles on them right now so I think it's a little too early to tell yet. I'll bring it in at about 500 miles, take them off, and measure the shocks to see if there are any signs of it rubbing.
Hi, there. These slides do eliminate the noise and resulted in a quieter ride. However, they do not completely prevent the springs from rubbing on the shock housings or the collars. I will likely end up doing suspension armor, which means these slides will have to come off. I don't think they will fit with suspension armor.
Those sliders were better, but I still wasn't happy with them. After about 2 years, I was still worried about the wear. I put on Suspension Armor, and now I don't worry about them wearing at all! New video showing the upgrade available here: ua-cam.com/video/jDvF9wbQbO0/v-deo.html
Still building the channel, slowly but surely! I love the PRO XP and enjoy working on it. I have it back in the garage right now for an electrical system upgrade (video to come out soon). Time lapses are great for making it appear that I know what I'm doing. :-) Thanks for watching, and happy to have you!
It's still early, but so far so good. I took it for a couple rides and I don't see any signs of spring rub anymore. The new slides are rubbing on the shock towers as designed, but their tolerance is so much better, they aren't going crooked or digging in. Time will tell!
It’s is normal to see springs rubbing crossover rings. The issue is the divider rubbing the shock body. That is the major failure. If you ride wet trails, Dirt, mud, sand, wet, gets packed in there and rubs the body. Regardless of cleaning or clocking. With AGM you may see crossover rings not rubbing, and minimal wear on the shock body. But trust me, take them off. You have now created a very small gap in between the divider and the shock body. Now you do not see the irregular issue of rubbing when you had a big gap on normal dividers, but it’s still rubbing. Evenly all around. I purchased these thinking they will help and installed them on brand new shocks. With the ST springs… they were 100% clocked . No rubbing on cross rings. They rubbed through the body evenly all around. Go back to a quality divider, look up suspension armour. Install the sleeves. You will never look back. lm.facebook.com/l.php?u=www.suspensionarmor.com/home?fbclid%3DIwAR37AQloLshQQ4eej0KCFXITqHHMLLgL5y0WThN4q5buPbE4rM3Tkd3HrpQ&h=AT0X_SfELGuy8UfLWf-QF0ydZRZVCUegPvxc9iOq1-zIxlA76JTP4l8isBxg_R-p4SZaQrof_zwY-ThXfaEPow1dlvxDSIX-7DsGfslZcSkI4mvYlwOEn4PHVgUl47BEUvctlAsXKAX6&s=1&mibextid=ncKXMA
Seems to be a common complaint about Shock Therapy springs on these machines. If you contact them, they will tell you that they need to be "clocked" correctly. No amount of clocking will fix what they were doing. I'll see how these hold up. So far so good, but if I find that they are still wearing down, I'll probably have to go with shock armor instead.

These spring dividers are upside down as per the shock therapy installation video.
Depends on the type of shocks you have. This direction should be correct for the Walker Evans.

My body's are destroyed only 250 Mile's thanks ST

Still no word on how these worked??

Hi great video, any news or update on if these work? Is it quieter like they say?

Also how are they hodling up? since youre going on year 2 now with them

Surprised you don’t have more subs! Your vid’s are great how tos for the pro Xp. You make it look too easy

Did it fix it

I would be upset with Shock Therapy. If you took it back to them do you think they would fix them?

Might want to clean your shocks after every ride too LOL😂
That would be a great idea! But then how would I know where they are rubbing? haha Thanks for watching!
Where did you purchase the AGM dividers?
