@@Boban1611 You should watch some of the Doctor Who fan channels on here - they explain how the BBC archives worked. Basically, like a load of studios in music and other media, they never used to value old footage and recordings and as tape was expensive, they'd reuse it. Any cine film BBC used (they'd send to other markets) they'd scrap. So it wasn't until the late 1970s before they realised "hang on, this is useful". Not for me, 89 and 84 were good. 2018 and 2003 take the worst crown for me... Only thing is, they're both new... Showing how bad new Eurovision is.
@@nicoledickson6099 thanks for the suppprt on the 1989 one, that was when my country won

Hmm, what a surprise....
Seriously? Spanish song was quite good that year.
Look: 1983... Portugal give 0 points to Spain.
Last 15 years: Soviet alliance, Nordic alliance, Balcanic alliance... even they had to change the voting system!
Anyway, if you understand a language you may like more the songs, portuguese understand spanish, french, italian...

Worst winners definitely the crap sent by Latvia, Estonia and well...
The 2000s had some terrible songs till the level went up during the 2010s.
@@yaniva.7626 i agree ❤️
@Ludovic Ouimet
Sertab was definitely one of the worst. I'm glad that Turkey won at least once, but she was terrible, English to actual singing voice. But again, the 2000s had the worst Eurovisions and songs.
Of course Ireland should won. Johnny Logan and Linda Martin were robbed...
My number one sweden and denmark number two much better than irlnd
Terrible year ..................standard was poor.
The two ladies from Norway were like trolls. The song was cheap & monotonous.
The presenter was not better; incoherent, not experience, blabbing and also bereft of appeal. What an miserable year.
The Portuguese music was so beautiful. Listen carefully.
