I really enjoyed seeing your clever adaptations to accomplish things with the tools you had. I find adaptation to be a virtue

Lol thanks Smitty!
This is one of the top contenders IMO. Nice work.
Thank you Panedrop!
Thats an awesome push dagger. Love the shape of it. you totally nailed the tanto aspect in my opinion.
Thanks man!
Well, its a pretty push dagger. It sure does look like it is well shaped, no spot that has any neglect.
Im not going to lie, there are so many choices, and i think for a large part i comes down to whether you like push daggers or not. While im not that kind of guy. It does look very pretty. In a knife collection your push dagger sure would look like one of the best things that would be in there.
I saw all videos now, and im really still not fully decided yet.
Your push dagger is very pretty.
Greetings,
Jeff
Thank you Jeff!
gorgeous work, feels both elegant and mechanical at the same time, really like it!
I really appreciate that! Thank you
Very nice build!! Glad to see your videos again. Good luck!!
Thanks man. been to busy to post lately!
Looks awesome man. I still have my prized position the 9mm Bowie Knife. Keep up the awesome work.
Awesome! Thanks brother!
Beautiful push dagger!!! and a great job making it as well!
Enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
Thanks Oneshot!
@@Wengelsworkshop You're welcome!!
i like workshop sounds, better than music. spectacular metal art 👍
Thank you!
Nice knife! In the beginning of the video you could have saved a few minutes and lessened the wear of your large drill by not drilling the big holes - you drilled smaller holes all the way around it and then cut with a saw, which would have given the final big hole in itself.
Thank you! lmao. 100%. i was gonna drill that hole and use my step up bits to make it bigger but they were too dull. i didnt want to stop and run to the store so i just found another way. but hopefully in the future i have the right drill bit for the process.
Love this push dagger! Amazing build!
Thanks man!
That looks amazing very nice work!

Nice job!
Thank you James!
Nicely done!
Quick question, what size nails do you buy for the pins? I’ve only ever seen copper ones in 3/32 and yours look bigger than that
Thank you. I believe they are nails that call for a 3/32 pilot hole, but I think that bc they expect you to be hammering it in. They fit a 1/8 hole very well in knife scales. It's a tight fit but I can put them in and out with my hand still.
❤❤
very cool
Thanks Andy!
🔥
Thanks dude!
When you use the cutting wheel to cut out your knife do you wait a little bit in between cuts to cool it down? Or just cut it out all at once?
I cut it all at once but bc of this you will need to do some normalizing cycle before heat treat bc the heat from the cutting wheel will affect the heat treat if it's not normalized. Especially every cut from the cutting wheel will heat the steel though so even if you were to go slow I would still normalize to be safe
@@Wengelsworkshop thanks for the advice. I wanted to start making knives and figured I'd better ask.
If you have any questions at all feel free to ask here or dm me on Instagram
@@Wengelsworkshop I don't have Instagram lol. But ill def be asking quite a bite of questions. I've literally binged watched alot of your videos
Hey quick question? When you get your steel cut out do you normalize all of them before you work on it?
Would you be willing to sell me some of your bevel grinding abilities to me?
Hahaha when I look at my bevels I only see the imperfections. I appreciate the compliment though. It definitely takes time to develop.
