OMG I HAVE A STORY FOR THIS. About 5 years ago I was at the airport and I had gotten a burger and fries to eat while sitting at my gate. So I sit down and I’m about to enjoy my dinner, and I start to squeeze some ketchup into my box to dip my fries into. When all of a sudden, the ketchup doesn’t just squeeze into my box, oh no, it sprays in all these different directions, and directly onto the total stranger sitting in front of me. I was absolutely mortified, I didn’t know what to do 😂
I’m sure that this is really pretty mild, but at the time I was mortified. I was at a very busy tram stop in Melbourne going to work our morning. Lots of people waiting but I was sitting. I went to pull my purse out of my handbag (which as usual was too full of unnecessary crap) and as I yanked on my purse a whole box of tampons shot out and rolled everywhere. One even landed between this man’s feet. I had a scramble around on the ground while everyone stared, other women with pity and men embarrassment. You would never imagine how far those little buggers can fly and it took me a while to pick them all up and dump them in my bag with a face as red as a beetroot. Then the tram came and I had to get on it with the same people who had all just witnessed what had happened and were staring at me. It was awful 🤣🤣
Feeling a teeny bit sorry for that last one. They're totally supposed to make a fuss! (That said, in registering a future voter and learning she was worried that they would make this kind of fuss over her, I told her there's nothing that says she can't either claim to have voted before OR specifically tell the attendant not to make a fuss.)
I accidentally walked in on a chick who forgot to lock the door. I needed to pee bad. And un Unfortunately my brain didn't process that the lady screaming whatever she words she was screaming was physically there using the toilet. All I could think of as I stood with the door open is, no. You can't be in here because the door was unlocked and I need to pee. Once the brain haze left I hurried up and closed the door and shouted I'm so sorry. Then I had to go and wait in the lobby with her husband... neither one of us said a word.
"You're not my friend." Literally laughed so hard I cried😂
