There is always a beginning of career and a lot of companies will not hire inexperienced workers. Lots of people put things on their CVs they really don't have experience in. That doesn't make them fake, they are just trying to get a job to survive. Even the social services will not keep giving them free food if they cannot try to help themselves. I watch your videos a lot but I don't agree with this one. I bet you 90% of newly hired put things in the resume which they really are not experts in. But give them sometime, they could be one of the best employees in the company.

Falsifying a resume is a criminal act that cannot be justified, and I appreciate your perspective on this matter. Although it is common for people to exaggerate their skills and experience on their resumes, it is crucial to acknowledge that being dishonest about one's abilities can have adverse consequences in the workplace. As you rightly pointed out, while companies may reject candidates without sufficient experience, job seekers should be honest about their skills and expertise. By being truthful, candidates can avoid misunderstandings and establish practical expectations for themselves and their employers. This also enables individuals to identify areas that require improvement and obtain appropriate training. Transparency is crucial in a Scrum team, and this includes honesty about one's abilities. While it is possible for individuals to develop their skills and become valuable members of the team, setting practical expectations from the outset is essential. This can promote a constructive work environment and encourage growth and development for all team members.

I've always asked myself where are all the beginners expected to get experience if no one wants to give them a shot. I don't blame them for lying.

Sir, at the end of the video, you said you might be able to identify whether the candidate is really certified or he bought the certificate ? do you mean these certs can be bought with the help of malpractices ? are those rampant practice ? if yes, how can one attain a genuine certification ?

Are 'Scrum Masters' no more than priests preaching a orthodoxy? There are many important observations in agile, extreme programming and scrum, but the key message is adaptation. Not only adapting the software, but the software development process itself. Fixed static practices disconnected from the realities of projects can hinder innovative thinking and critical examination.
