Man, how the hell did you stay on your bike when you missed the corner??? :O Okay, your answer will be 20 years of BMX racing... :D I guess some crazy descenders (including myself) would have been interested to see some racing through those dangerous sections. Also, did you have to ask Phil Gaimon's permission to use the Cookie Monster scene? :D
I have no idea how you got away without crashing or without a flat tire….🤷♂️ I knew you are a descending monster and good on the flat, but come on, staying with these guys on the climb? A really great race…
Thx buddy! Great vid. When you miss the turn I’m right behind you. Listen what an old (experienced ) cyclist says. You can loose a race descending but you win it climbing! See ya soon mate!
When you receive cycling words of wisdom like that from a reputable bike rider, you listen, digest and remember that for the rest of your cycling days. You’re lucky to experience riding with an accomplished, seasoned cyclist such as Stelvioman. Hope you’ll be humbled by such near mishap. Still great bike handling skills from your end!
Honestly, the best series 'Haute 2021' so far (this includes other youtubers), the way you go between the footage and commentator is perfect, wow! You can really feel the passion behind the vids in this series, as you take us along the journey. I could feel myself on the route with you, cinematography was spot on and epic. What's also pretty incredible is your ability to film and focus on riding, well done and something I could never do. Jasper you sincerely rock and this series really put a smile back on my face, thank you.
You are without any doubt a very strong rider but look at the guys you have been riding with, they are 10 years older. Respect to the performance of all! Keep posting this fantastic videos! :)
We understand if you can’t make it to the podium on this race. How can you, when you’re trying to take a video and narrating to feed us, hungry cycling fanatics, for this anticipated event? I’m just in awe of the view and coverage of this cycling event. Thank you, Jasper!
I can't deny I was waiting for this upload today to start the week well. Nothing better than a bit of offroad to flex your descent skills :) Looking forward to see the Gavia!
Geniet echt van je filmpjes! zo'n 12 jaar geleden gestopt met wielrennen, maar door jou weer aan het kijken om er 1 te kopen. Heerlijk zeg, krijg er zelf energie van!
I love how you managed to mix in a little offroad/gravel training in with that ride! It sounds like you're much fitter than you first thought that you were. Great videos once again. Cheers! 😄
Seriously Jasper, how can you race and film 😵💫😵 unbelievable 👍🏻 Also you rule the downhill, when you stay on track 😬😮😅😂. Brilliant coverage, some of your best work, can’t wait for the next 👊🏻👊🏻👏👏👍🏻👍🏻
In the first video I commented on the number of vehicles on the road, you told it was closed if you were in the front of the race, but today even on the timed section I still see lots of vehicles - scary stuff - I was thinking to do some haute route events, drawn by the promise of closed roads - now I see they don’t deliver what they promise even for front group.
Not sure if you seen it but the race was stopped at 75km. AFTER that, yes we were in the traffic. Before that there was a race car before and behind us to protect against traffic. I was only in the race group in first climb and descent. After that i was not and yes in between traffic. Still the traffic is verry good and should not be of your worries. Any questions please ask the haute route team. 👍
@@HarryTzianakisTheGodOfSpeed on the haute route you pay a very high entry fee to ride on closed roads, so i am shocked to see how open the roads actually are - in the city no such entry fee
