The only Naruto video I'll ever need to make, and probably the only one you'll ever need to watch. ;) With everyone chipping in about their problems with the series, ya boi decided to finally turn that shit from a B- to an A-.
This took me way too long to edit and I probably got some shit wrong. Oh well.

I guess you don't understand the duality in Naruto. Hashirama cells are the highest representation of Physical (Yang Release) energy thus healing. It also the only one who can stabilize a non-Uchiha with the use of Sharingan, which is the highest representation of Mental Energy (Yin Release). These two are key to unlock Six Paths powers.
Hashirama cells is a plot device not to cover any holes but to develop the Six Paths narrative.
I hated how Rock Lee suffered the same fate as every other Dragon Ball side character. Strong enough to compete with the protagonist until they fade into irrelevance as the story progresses.
Not only Rock Lee,but also 99,1% of the all the other characters as well!
Neji should have been a top tier contender for Hokage. Wasted

@@torum6448 Definetly its not coincidence that there is so many almost identical issues in Bleach, Naruto and Nanatsu no taizai. I think its safe to say that editors meddled more than they should especially during the end of the series. I dont envy mangakas because writing manga is one of them ost un-free way to deliver story.

Tite Kubo stated that many of his ideas were ignored and they made him cut and stretch things.
There are also some good editors I.e whoever was monitoring Akira Toriyama.
I would love for someone to rewrite the series with all of these ideas. They're great.

One of the biggest flaws in the series has to be the way the female characters were written.. I love the girls but they had so much wasted potential. Really would have been a good idea for Kishi to have gotten a female co-writer or just have asked for a woman’s advice every once in a while… could’ve fixed a lot😒
I don't think that's an issue with female characters in particular, it's an issue with all the side characters. Kiba, Shino, Lee etc hardly get any time to shine in part 2.
The 7th opening had Konan fighting all the girls. I genuinely wish we had gotten that in the actual Pain arc, along with more stuff like that

Side characters like Neji and Lee were also needed to be more utilized in shippuden. Fucking Ten Ten was doing more than her teammates in the war by killing some Kakuzu's hearts using Sage tools.

I still feel annoying seeing a literal fan favourite in naruto rock lee , do absolutely nothing in shippuden , he should’ve been given a bigger role. Maybe even be the one to hit 8 gates against madara instead of guy or even both of him hitting final gate against juubi madara. & neji who hit jonin level after the time skip should’ve definitely played a bigger role with the his new philosophy he gained after naruto beat him. Maybe fighting sasuke while telling him fate can be changed & not to go for revenge

Tenten a weapons expert? Well that's all well and good except for the fact that any weapon not wielded by the main characters or main villains does next to nothing..
The problem is that her weapons are just some generic weapons ,it would be better if she got some legendary weapons like on of the sowrds of the mist and while most of the sowrds are kind useless except samihada ,its still will make her more powerful

Most of these would've been solved if kishimoto had a clear story in mind since the beginning and didn't keep changing everything in the middle.
Btw I don't blame him it's really difficult to think of the whole story at once and make no changes considering how long the anime is

Hashirama cells was probably one of the biggest ass pulls. Got any problem? Here have hashirama cells. It doesn't even make sense why his cells should be that different to any other senju. I personally think hashirama cells idea should've been scrapped.

Sasuke was the first person to give Karin any kind of kindness and not use her (well at the start) while Sakura likes him for looks and nothing else, second she’s an uzimaki and the combination of Uzimaki and Uchiha blood would’ve been a powerhouse (hell Sarada already looks like a fusion between Karin and Sauske anyway so no need to change the design) and it would’ve definitely fixed Sakuras character since instead of her continued obsession and denial of reality she would see Sasuke for what he truly is move on and find someone who actually cares about her (Rock Lee would be a great choice)

Karin did have a good reason to love Sasuke but Sasuke never really showed any interest he didn't even apologize to her properly after trying to kill her but yes her reasoning is good but it seems like she's obsessed with him
@@sangwootheanklebreaker4646 I also agree that sasuke should've been single and i really think the writers should've turned him into a character like jiraiya, a secret protector of the village. But the writers wanted him to be family man which directly conflicts with his persona and his role as the shadow hokage, so now he's just a bad father who's never home. The writers also wanted sasuke to continue the uchiha bloodline yet they only gave him a single child and a girl at that, that's pretty fckin stupid. Atleast give him triplets or something, even naruto has two children. And realistically speaking the uchihas were the catalysts of pretty much every major conflict in their world so sasuke should've abandoned all thoughts of continuing his clan's legacy especially after he heard tobirama's words about the uchihas. There's more than enough proof that the uchihas are just naturally evil with some exceptions, otherwise itachi wouldn't have to slaughter them all. What's even more ridiculous is sakura agreeing to marry a rogue ninja who tried to kill her twice

I want the series to be like... recreated, and have all the plot-holes patched, and every character fleshed out. Obviously not in a weekly installation, maybe a light novel every few months. I really think it'd benefit the series as a whole because having binged the anime the whole thing feels poorly paced, patchy, and some characters might as well not even be there. I wish that Sakura will learn Genjutsu ( coz I remember that she had the skills for learning it but never did. She kinda had character development but idk what Kishimoto thought , always making her chase Sasuke and such ) , make the Male characters a bit less OP , make the female characters a bit more powerful with more screentime.

@@jordanmanley9172 Biggest garbage in this series. It shows taht Kishimoto sucks at romance and should never put such emphasis on that and rather ignore it completely. Hinata confess to Naruto and it led complete nowhere for hundreds of chapter only to make it relevant during last two.

I think the Hinata problem could also be good too if Naruto would try and plan to talk to Hinata but he gets to busy with everything going on and messing with his head
that would've definitely create build up in their relationship and them getting together or just going out for ramen would be a huge pay off. Heck, to go along with Cryptonix's idea, have Hinata constantly trying to ask Naruto out to get ramen. Imagine a hinata trying to learn to cook ramen sub plot lol

Yeah I agree, we should have gotten some episodes where she tries to get Naruto to hang out with her so they can bond and make Naruto realize that she’s been the only girl his age that actually is nice and cares about him, it felt too rushed in The Last movie

Ngl I feel like as small children Hinata should've been part of Naruto, Shikamaru and Choji's little friend group or at least have Hinata be a close nurturing friend who was always there for Naruto (with him not noticing her obvious crush on him) along with @Leon Newkirk's idea. Plus it would make them getting together feel wayy more satisfying.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I would've LOVED the idea of Naru and Hina initially bonding over their shared sentiment of feeling weak and useless as small children and Hinata's motivation is to become strong while still being able to be her compassionate self to prove that she isn't useless or a waste of space. Idk have her switch places with Sakura with Hinata becoming a medical nin (it suits her caring nature more, plus it fits the "Strong like father, kind like mother" thing more) and Sakura out on the battle field

Naruto’s parents and heritage were meant to be this big mystery but there was absolutely no mystery to who his father was when he looks exactly like him. Since he’s part Uzumaki red hair could be an option.
Not to mention it be a bit interesting if people were to make note of his appearance and equate that to his massive amounts of chakra we could also see Naruto learning some interesting sealing Jutsu.

Yeah and why they have to get sealing from hagoromo when they literally have one of the like 3 surviving members of the uzumaki clan which was known for their massive amount of chakra and sealing. I mean that's why the uzumaki was almost wiped out by multiple nations
It is a perfect opportunity to have the Demon Brothers and Zabuza realize he's an Uzumaki and be wary of him (or terrified, in the Brothers' case) without Naruto understanding why or assuming they know he's a jinchuuriki.
I remember a fanfic, admittedly a crack one, in which the Demon Brothers pop out, realize Naruto is an Uzumaki, and fly into a panic due to the Mist remember how utterly devastating the Uzumaki Clan was in the invasion of Uzu leaving a cultural trauma on them.

You can say that for literally anything that has flaws if you would redo it the redo would have flaws etc
I personally probably would've rewritten the story more thoroughly. I liked what Sasuke had going with Hebi/Taka in how he was growing into being more of an anti-hero with his own respectable sense of morals despite cutting his ties with his village. I think it would've been better if he pursued reform of the villages in a way that didn't involve destroying everything and didn't suddenly abandon his team because Revenge.
Another thing I'd want to change is how ninja techniques drifted into needing a special bloodline or association with some prestigious legacy to stay relevant when the series started out with ninja having to think carefully about how to leverage their set of skills to overcome their opponent, with techniques having their strengths and weaknesses people could overcome with the right strategy. Stuff like the mangekyo sharingan would have to get either nerfed or removed to keep abilities more balanced. That way the Uchiha clan wouldn't overtake some 80% of the plot, wouldn't be massively more powerful than the byakugan and genjutsu would actually be useful and usable. Base form sharingan is already a pretty useful tool that could've seen more use than it did.
The Senju clan was also underused despite their later connection to the Uchiha. We barely know any of its members and Hashirama's wood release was made exclusive to him instead of being something other people could have but that he became especially proficient with.
I like the idea that Sakura would excel at breaking genjutsu and possibly manipulating other people's genjutsu, which would showcase her finer chakra control quite nicely while making her a good match against the sharingan if it retains its strong association with genjutsu. You could blend her medical ninja skills, chakra augmentation and genjutsu together for some pretty interesting strategic fights where she balances increasing her speed, strength, medical knowledge/precision and misdirection to take down formidable opponents.
I do truly wish there were more scenes with the females fighting and more development with females. Some of them were wasted potential..
TenTen was literally WASTED
The main two females are seen as weak,annoying, and thirsty. Specially hinata. She had so much potential but was only made to be naruto's love interest. They tried to give her character development but it was too late. They should've of made hinata naruto's only friend and the person who stops him from doing stupid stuff. Naruto makes himself seem like he was higher than hinata and they fight. Soon hinata saves naruto's ass during a fight and they talk it over. Then we will see naruto and hinata have character development. Hinata is less of a coward and quiet person and naruto is more responsible and respectful. For sakura stop making her obsess with sasuke it was assuming at first then it got sooo annoying. Sasuke should've rejected her and sakura gets over him. She becomes a better ninja because she is more focus on her job. That is my idea.

One important thing about the amount of tails. That part is that way for a reason. The entire Tailed Beast storyline is actually adapted from an ancient story that roughly translates to "Ancient Legend of the Nine Gods of War".
According to that story, these 9 monsters (pets of gods or some kind of demons, as far as I understand) at one point decided to all fight and eventually kill each other. That is also where Ichibis original story about being a human turned desert monster originally comes from. The more tails a beast had, the more chakra it had. Up until the ninetails whose chakra was said to be limitless.
Although the beasts with less tails put up a good fight, in the end only eight-tail (Yamata no Orochi / the eight headed and eight tailed snake / inspiration for Orochimaru) and the nine-tailed Kyuubi were left. Orochi was almost Kyuubis equal thanks to the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi hidden in its tail. After Kyuubi defeated Orochi, but before he could kill it, the weakened Kyuubi was somehow sealed away.. Orochi was later killed by the storm god Susanoo by making it drunk and following it with an 8 times decapitation.

I don't really agree with 11. Finding out that Itachi's motives were... "good" does not make him a "pretty good guy". Sure, he cared about the prosperity of Konoha and his little brother's well-being, but he DID murder a shitload of innocent people. He may avoid unnecessary fighting, but is definitely not above murder and torture when it is seemingly necessary to his plans. Also, at that point he was still very adamant about keeping up his "villain of the leaf" appearance. Going easy on Kakashi (or indeed any Leaf Ninja) would have created suspicion about his true motives, something he distinctly wanted to avoid.
Itachi did not need to mind rape Sasuke a second time, and he could very easily have incapacitated Kakashi without drawing suspicion. Kisame couldn't know what happens inside of a Genjutsu used by Itachi, from his perspective Kakashi just collapses after Itachi looks at him. Also he was going to allow Kisame to hack off Naruto's legs before Jiraiya showed up.
I also disagree with 28. I dont know if it was just me but post orochimaru's death kabuto, is one of my favrote villians and also gives a reasion for Orochimaru to switch sides so abrubtly.
But he WAS supposed to be a "pretty good guy" anyway, according to the Part 2, so his behavior in part 1 is a bit too much

He even regrets going to such extremes...But even so his Part 1 behaviour screams unrepentant villain, there wasn't enough nuance to lead us to think he was only pretending. The tailed beasts being as strong as their tail count is questionably true. I'd say Shukaku is the most powerful out of the first 7 despite being the one tail. He has sealing jutsu, and absolute control of sand anywhere including his own body. Yet Kurama can easily defeat the first seven tailed beasts even in his divided/halved state. So perhaps it's the truth that they're as powerful as their tail count except if they have more battle experience and training. Shukaku loves battle and Kurama was constantly hackled by the Shinobi forcing him to fight. Gyuuki has some experience from what I've seen and he's the eight tails. So I guess in terms of power first comes the first seven (minus Shukaku) in no particular order, then Shukaku, Gyuuki, and finally Kurama.

Honestly I assume Kurama's using his tail count as an excuse of sorts. He is the strongest and there is a general trend with it's not as clear cut as he makes it seem.
He doesn't want to have to prove that he's the strongest because he's kinda lazy and so resorts to claiming his tail count is proof enough.
i think the thing about the tailed beasts being as strong as their tails is just going by chakra levels and chakra volatility as opposed to unique skills and abilities. Cause they all have different abilities and releases which makes them unique and some can over power the other but in terms of tailed beast ranking my guess is it goes by chakra??

Kurama's abilities are the insane amount of chakra he has, the chakra cloak and the avatar. Though I'm also open to the idea that cloak and avatar are loosely related to the Six Paths abilities since there's some evidence supporting that. If that's true it means Kurama can use them but so can people like Asura.
Sakura should have been a genjutsu expert with skills that can rival Sasuke's sharingan. Naruto and Karin should have had some sort of interaction about them being Uzumaki.

I feel like the hyuga clan needs a rewrite. the Bakugan can see people's chakra points so obviously the hyuga clan would be healers or major in healing department in konoha. Also just the clans in the hidden leaf in general I feel like there should be a little bit more like history, politics, and culture there because it's here and there in the series but it's not much of it. Most of the females in Naruto their motivations are just based on men just like Hinata she's like "oh Naruto."and Sakura is like "oh Sasuke." Like for example sakura comes from an ordinary clan in konoha and no one has big expectations from her because of that reason I think the only reason she should have feelings for saskue is because he comes from a prominent and elite clan. She thinks he is very capable/powerful and admires that. Or hinata trying to become the heiress of the hygua clan even though she is weak and timid. And her relationshio with neji and her sister. And I would've like for her to develop more long range justu to compensate for her lacking in hand to hand. Like for example combining the hygua gentle fist chakra needles with the puppet chakra strings so if she hits an opponent with a air palm or a regular palm she can restrict and slightly control their movements during hand to hand combat. Or kushina just giving up her dream of becoming the first female hokage.
I don’t think Danzo’s suicide in attempt to kill Obito and Sasuke was bad. If it weren’t for that scene, Danzo would look like just a total villain. It’s purpose was to emphasize that Danzo is actually looking out for the Hidden Leaf Village and would do whatever it takes for the sake of the village. He was a man who did the dirty work for the Kages and made the decisions nobody (not even him) wanted to make. Without that scene and final speech, Danzos character would be perceived differently.

The reason Naruto didn't use Kurama's power was because the more he used it, the more likely Kurama could take control.
Sakura should have fought kabuto while Naruto and orochimaru. She’s suppose to be smart so her overall arc is adaptability. Assort showed her that being a close combatant isn’t always good and that poisons need to be used more often. The kabuto fight teaches her that that she needs more than evasion and needs a better fighting style than a bull charging. Maybe approach lee and gai the hand to hand masters and pick up a thing or two. Also, and I might get shit for this, she should have learned Wood style by the war as her trump card to not only make herself distinguishable from Tsunade but rightfully solidify herself as the main heroine of the series. That conversation she had with Yamato where she asked him if she could learn wood style to repress the nine tails and he rejected her saying because he was bio engineered that way. Sakura, being stubborn as a mule and taught by someone who crafting their field of work from barebones AND having a manic split personality would make her to defy the old scientific laws of the shinobi world and pioneer a new field of study just like her teacher.

I think the explanation Kishimoto gave for why the tailed beasts protect their jinjuriki even though they are immortal is because they are honestly way more safer inside a junjuriki than outside. Since every punk with a good enough sealing jutsu can capture them their only option is to find a jinjuriki that they can at least tolarate and stay with them .

It really does come down to the demands of the manga writing industry being at odds with good story telling. Thinking is not a free action and your brain needs time to formulate a plot and put the pieces together into somethign greater than its parts. Tight schedule and constant cliff hangers to keep fan engagement up are inimical to that.
Most of these plotholes are probably because they weren't intended to begin with. Jiraya's inclusions as Naruto's god father is almost certain a retroactive addition and the exact nature and role of the Kage as leaders wasn't as firmly pinned down at the beginning of the series.
Some people would ask why Kishimoto, once he was enjoying a lot of success didn't do what some manga creators do and use that clout to negotiate for a more reasonable schedule.
At a guess . . . once you get into that groove it's hard to escape. You don't want to disappoint people.
My personal experience doesn't count for 1/1,000,000 of what a professional writer or mangaka experiences but there was a time in my life where I wrote quests for people on message boards and forums and the stress of pumping out updates sometimes multiple times a week became a sort of self inflicted torture. But I could stop due to the feeling I would be letting people down until I finally flamed out.
Now imagine that torture is your career (a huge part of your sense of self worth) and your income.

The only loose end after that is the ninetails inside naruto. Meanwhile sakura tries to save sasuke, and we get heart warming scene on his deathbed.
Who knows, all I'm saying is everything after pain arc turned into a dumpster fire.
The first thing I would like to change was that during the fight with Zabuza Sakura should be the one who came up with the plan to free Kakashi, if your going to build up someone as the smartest member of the group we should see it, I mean naruto can be the one who throws the kunai but Sakura was the one who came up with the plan you know teamwork the thing you brought up a couple chapters ago. Another thing Zabuza and Haku shouldn't be rogue ninjas in the first arc they should be hidden mist ninjas.. Zabuza should be a jonin and haku and the 2 twin guys should be his genin students as a parallel to team Kakashi which would have made the arc a little more nuanced cause both teams think their doing the right thing and whatever also while Naruto and Sasuke are fighting Haku, Sakura would be fighting the two twins.... I mean she was built up as the best in the team so lets see it!
Another thing I would change is the genocide of the Uchiha and Uzumaki clans... Like Itachi can kill his parents maybe even have a badass fight between him and his dad about their ideals also the Uchiha should be like a nation outside of Konoha I feel like the world building felt really small if every clan is in konoha a village... Like the Uchiha and all other clans in the land of fire all occupied different territories that would have been really interesting... Same with the Uzumaki clan like Hanzo, Nagato, Yahiko and Konan should all be Uzumaki in the hidden rain villiage the land of the Yeti they could just be people who aren't fully related to one another but share a common ancestry...
In the Chunin exams please make Sakura win her fights it doesn't make sense why Lee had to come in and save her it was literally her time to shine with both her team mates out.. Sakura should have beaten the sound 4 by herself and lose to Ino in the preliminary match. I mean I know why Kishimoto did it but I don't agree with it.. Another thing is that when Orochimaru attacks the leaf it's just the sound ninjas a terrorist group disguised as sand villiage shinobi to enter the village but oblivious to Gaara and his siblings..During the Sasuke retrieval arc Sakura should be the one to save naruto when he was fighting Kimimaru the bone guy, Gaara will save her ofcourse and take over the fight like with in the OG this way Lee doesn't recover in like 2 hrs.
In the war Izanami should be a jutsu that is a last resort for Uchihas who are fighting OP shinobi they know they can't beat not as a punishment for people who over use Izanagi (that was really dumb Kishimoto) that way it would stress Kabuto's power. Also Kabuto should remain in that genjutsu and locked away somewhere not run an orphanage after starting a war which killed literally thousands of people. I know this show is about forgiveness but somethings are just irredeemable. Sasuke could be healed by Karin or not at all considering he would be given the sage of six paths power. Sakura should use sage mode like the 100 healings seal should be a sage jutsu something like Sakura is always absorbing natural energy into her forehead, something Tsunade wasn't able to do but because she is a senju she used her own charkra just to differentiate her from Tsunade.
Also during the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke Sakura should be there fighting as well mirroring the fight between the Sannin in part one.. My favorite scene in all of Naruto was Sakura looking at Naruto after his fight with Sasuke and declaring that the next time both of them will go together to retrieve Sasuke a very beautiful scene which needed a pay off..
And after the final fight naruto and sasuke release the infinite tsukuyomi they should lose their sage of six paths power Sasuke would have EMS and Naruto would only have sage mode and make a contract with Kurama whenever naruto is in a bind he can always summon him..... Which would be really cool if fought Toneri with just sage mode... I felt like the series just shoved sage mode into the background which was really unfair sage mode is cool and now Kishimoto doesn't have to nerf him so much when he is fighting other characters
I get what your saying but kcm2 is also too cool to just be thrown in the trash. He keeps Kurama inside of him but maybe something happens and he is forced to use only sage mode against Toneri. Naruto with just sage mode is no match for EMS Sasuke and that would just break the balance in strength

A good change for me would be to take Naruto out of Shikamaru's arc. Naruto literally had no place there he barely knew Asuma there was no need for him to be there. His appearance just made Choji, Ino and kakazu look bad, a man with hundreds of years of battle experience gets beaten by shadow clones but those 2 still couldn't stop him be themselves. Would've made more sense to have shikamaru make a plan for ino and choji to follow that they could've used to beat kakazu which would show, how smart he is, how much they trust him, and how great they work as a team and it would make sense considering that the show was setting up shikamaru to be the best strategist in the series. The only reason naruto was there was to introduce the rasen-shuriken, they could've just shown naruto training and trying to make the rasen-shuriken hinting off that he is developing a new move then in the pain arc they introduce it.
I heard somebody recommend that sasuke and naruto should have been a couple and I think that’s waaaay better then any way to put the two with respective girl partner. If not that than I think letting them be solo would still be better than this. Just does not make sense. Not fanfic shit. But showing just the brotherly love that naruto and sasuke developed would have been better

I believe hiashi should have sacrificed himself for neji and transferred power of the clan over to neji with his daughter (whom was next in line) seeing the transfer of power and already having high standing with in the clan (pain arc) to agree to the change of power and clan structure since naruto wanted neji to fix the clan and hiashi realized in that moment he was a bad father figure to neji also gai should have died since it was established that using higher gates can kill you it would give more weight to the world

The thing about the whole ‘godfather’ thing with jiraiya is that there are no godparents in Japanese culture. That is an inherent western thing. The proper term for jiraiya is ‘naming-parent’, his responsibility towards naruto begins and ends at naming him. In Japan naming-parents do not assume guardianship of the children they name when the parents die.

1. Nine tails is way too powerful, Naruto should be the only host of the nine tails and he shouldn't use the a nine tails chakra mode until Naruto and kurama are willing to work together, until then he should only use a multiple tailed version 1 or vision 2 forms as Killer bee was also a perfect jinchuuriki yet he didn't have that form and Naruto later gaining that form could foreshadow that he's the reincarnation of the Sage of Six's younger son.
2. Sasuke should have kept the curse mark, had some more snake powers, be able to heal faster, and a reason why his curse mark was the most powerful cause it didn't seem that different from the other curse marks. In part 1 the curse mark seems more cool than the sharingan, was part of the reason when Sasuke started his dark path, and the final valley fight is about both Naruto and Sasuke taking everything they have and know to fight each other and seeing as how we saw the curse mark play a role in the story, it's like saying what if Naruto couldn't use Sage Mode ever again?. If I was writing I would say that Sasuke's and Kimimaro's curse marks are the most powerful curse marks because they were both people whose bodies Orochimaru wanted to take over and that there was suppose to be a 3rd level/form to the curse mark that would be the level 1 and level 2 form combined (In Sasuke's case how he looks in the 2nd stage of the curse mark, but with the black flame tattoos, have less energy consumption while having juugo's ability to draw natural energy, but on a much less, more controlled rate where Sasuke could store it up, and make Sasuke's face somewhat less girly), that was only suppose to be available after Orochimaru took over either Sasuke's and Kimimaro's bodies. because Sasuke absorbed Orochimaru after killing him, you could say that he stripped Orochimaru's powers from him and I don't know throw up a white snake or something. I would love to see the curse mark form and power work along with susanoo and amaterasu powers, it make the rival between Sasuke and naruto more believable (Naruto did way way more fighting than Sasuke during the 4th war), I would like to see Sasuke be able to fly without susanoo, cause Naruto can fly, wings look cool, and it would make the uchiha in general look a little less powerful overall if a uchiha clan member was that powerful for more than just being a member of the uchiha clan. (Part of what made Madara so cool was that not only was he as powerful as you could get from being from the uchiha clan, but he also had wood control, faster than normal healing which are not powers a uchiha guy would normall have). Also I would like Sasuke to have more snake powers to indicate who trained him which was Orochimaru. (I get it, Sasuke hated Orochimaru, but from being trained from one of the Sannin, he should have some powers that show he got trained by him)
3. Make Sakura powerful. (I said that Sasuke didn't have a lot of snake powers from being trained by Orochimaru, 1 of the Sannin, well Sakura is the opposite. Her part 1 self sucked so bad that after being trained by tsunade, she just became a smaller boobs, pink hair version of her.) I think 1. Sakura should know and use earth style during battles like creating Earth walls, and tunnel underground cause it bothers me that her main mode of fighting is just punching people, and part of me can't take her seriously so she could at least know some stuff on how to avoid long range attacks. I also think she could learn some kind of slug Sage Mode. Part of learning Sage Mode is very good chakra control which Sakura is good at, it would be easier to take her seriously as the 2nd more powerful female person in the story, it would seem more belivieable that after she unlocked the strength of 100 sealing that along with Sage mode she would think that she caught up to Sasuke and Naruto at that point. And there could even be a interesting story of Sakura learning Sage Mode. Like Tsunade wanted to learn it but after her boyfriend died she left the village and being a drunk gambler became rusty and since Orochimaru hadn't seen her use the he strength of 100 sealing prior to their fight in Part 1, it means that Tsunade would have only learned/ mastered it between when she was 30 to late 40's and it's a little implied that the seal aged her more. So tsunade would have been too old to start learning Sage Mode around the time she gained the seal, and sent Sakura to do training that tsunade wasn't capable of in preparation for the 4th war. It would make Sakura more powerful and I could say more than she just as or more powerful as tsunade.
4. Before Madara died he should have somehow put a part of his soul within Obito, that way even thou the Orange mask person was really Obito, you could still say that it was really Madara's voice and really his personaitly and that Obito allowed a part of Madara's being to stay within him and speak while Obito just did the fighting. And then when the real Madara comes back as a Edo Madara's influence within Obito would become much weaker allowing Obito to try to make his own plans and that losing his heart/seal from kakashi was Obito getting rid of the last of Madara's control. Makes Obito being brainwashed more believable and that losing a girl he wasn't even dating not just the main reason for being evil as well as that Madara just letting himself die thinking that some teenage was going to bring him back to life.
5. I think Naruto and Sakura should have dated at least once or a couple times and show that she did have some feeling for Naruto, and that it's just that her feelings for Sasuke are stronger and maybe her coming to some conclusion that maybe her feelings for Sasuke would help bring Sasuke back to the village.
6. Madara should have stayed as the main villain, kaguya should have came later, Maybe bring her up as a flashback/ foreshadowing for the next series, but I don't know how they could have beaten a Madara despite the show low balling him like it did (Madara as a endo was able to use a perfect susanoo several hundred of feet in height that could slice mountains in half with just air pressure of a sword swing, use wood control comparable to the 1st hokage, create 25 wood clones each that could use a fully formed upper/lower bodied Susanoo, has a rinnegan, that unlike Pain, Madara could do everything Pain did but on a much larger scale, has a limbo clone that can't be seen, heard, or sensed, and this was all prior to becoming the ten tails host and he didn't use some of the powers Obito used when he became a ten tails host and we never got told what madara's mangekyou sharingan power were.) Sasuke should have killed Obito not itachi and izanami was total bullshit.
yeah that's one thing about characters like sakura is he forgot the whole ninja aspect like she should have used more chakra instead of just healing I mean she had some decent fights like the sound ninja and the sasori fight but other than that she is like the female rock lee except she can literally hit really hard which was modelled after her gag of hitting naruto but she should have had her own unique fighting style along with an affinity for earth chakra like you said I mean she is adept at breaking genjutsu and her chakra control is good but after part one she should have gotten over her deer in headlights mentality especially when these issues are really weird in boruto like she used to get beat by tsunade but still has to be saved multiple times through out the series her training with tsunade should have made her more gutsy

The reason after minatos death Kurama didn't appear ever is because it takes 10 to 20 years and he got kurama fully after the war and he was 17 when the war ended
I would keep the "beasts are immortal" thing, but the only beast that knows it is Isobu because of the Rin situation. The other beasts either havent come close to death, have successfully defended their hosts, or have been extracted prior to it. When Isobu reveals it in the big group talk Naruto has with the beasts, they all have a "wait, WHAT!?" moment.
I believe that the Sasuke/Sakura and Naruto/Hinata relationships (which were CLEARLY hinted at since part 1) never got actually developed because the editors told Kishimoto not to. To keep the shippers (NaruSaku) happy and keep their dreams alive as the series went on. It's not that Kishimoto can't write romance. That's BS. He wrote Minato and Kushina pretty well. The Asuma/Kurenai story was also good. He should have definitely included romance with the main characters in the story. Hinata and Sakura would have GREATLY benefitted if their feelings were reciprocated, especially Sakura. If she had legit reasons (which I guess she did in a retcon way) to have such a love for Sasuke most of her deficits would disappear, such as not being able to fight Sasuke... etc. Sasuke would have also benefitted immensely from that, seeing that he's fallen so low as trying to kill the woman he loves is very heavy and amazing stuff. And of course, Naruto having a woman he loves to protect makes his philosophy all the more convincing. Hinata wouldn't be a low-key creepy stalker at times... etc.
Anyway, good things that are unbelievably missing from the story, and I'm sure the editors are to blame for that. To keep the fandom happy I guess. Why make them evolve with the characters when you can play with their emotions for almost 2 decades and have them pissed off at the ending sending death threats to the Naruto staff and all that sweet stuff am I right.

Cuz the whole War Saga had hints of Kaguya-hime no Monogatari/Taketori no Monogatari.
It also explained why only Black Zetsu has special Katakana speech pattern in the manga (his words are in special font in official sources).
The difference is inteligence. Kaguya is no planner, no strategist. She has no actual fighthing capabilities, just raw power. You can outsmart her. Madara had less raw power, but was a seasoned warrior. The problem was that they took someone that recalled Hashirama, and overcharged him.

The thing with the tail beast cloak and Naruto’s special cloak is that I’ve notice; Gaara doesn’t have a cloak, he goes straight into tailbeast/ half man half beast, and we know the more tails the more power, so Naruto having the most powerful tailed beast of the 9 would make sense that his special cloak is exclusive to him
Actually what would've been even better is if each tailed beast/ jinchuuriki had it's own special/unique cloak which would be shown as a final form or evolution when a proper bond is formed... so much waisted potential

Yeah there are plot holes in naruto (especially the izanami bullshit) and issues that could’ve been resolved, but a lot of these said issues you listed is either misinterpretation or just your personal taste. Honestly I think the whole series would have been better if they stuck to less god like jutus being used , closer to the early days of the series where it was more about strategy on how they used their abilities. By the end of the series it started to turn into DBZ with how destructive everything is and didn't really feel like I was watching ninjas more like super heroes fighting with over powered world destroying abilities. For me the final fight with hidan and kakuzu is where I kinda think in terms of how powerful jutus should be. This would have kept a lot of side characters relevant in terms of power scale so they wouldnt be brushed off to the sideline like how we see in dbz where pretty much all the earth boys became useless and even piccolo at the end.
First it's not power creap it's the lack of time to focus on all these characters remember kishimoto was writing in the weekly manga and he had to draw as well and got to the hospital because of that looks what happens to the kauz fight that fight was supposed to be longer but the editor forced to cut down and the villans like madara was established to be powerful ever since part one so you need to increase the stakes madara should have been the final villains not kagua which existed to set up for boruto

one of the 2 biggest issue of Naruto for me is that by later half of the story the writers did not respect or just forgotten the rules and systems that govern the world he created in the story. and Just turn pretty much everyone into a super saiyan. The other issue is the character development

If there's anyone to blame for Naruto's anime episode plot holes it'd be the editor of the Shonen Jump's and Studios Pierrot try to keep this in mind. I saw an interview a while back with Masashi Kishimoto that contradicts his first interview about Naruto and Hinata being endgame
Is that interview he stated that he intended for Naruto and Sakura the end up together and Sasuke and Karin Uzumaki the end up together to cure the curse of hatred of the Uchiha Clan I think this interview came out after he physically retired from Studios Pierrot he was no longer under contract or obligation to spout the company line and that way you two different interview he's already contradict himself this would have been the third interview just keep that in mind people and cut the man some slack it wasn't all his fault either

Man the way they threw away Lee’s character in shippuden made me so sad. He was able to fight on par with Sasuke around the chunin exams, he is such a powerful character that trains harder than anyone else so he should’ve improved tremendously in shippuden. Also the fact that he is a rare person with no chakra being that powerful😭also kishimoto really didn’t know how to write good female characters

One of my biggest contentions with early Naruto was:
WHY ARE NARUTO, SHIKAMARU AND CHOJI NOT FRIENDS?
Kishimoto literally goes out of his way multiple times in flashbacks to establish that Naruto, Choji and Shikmaru were all pretty close friends but then once it gets to the exam stuff, they barely acknowledge him or treat him in the same contemptable way most of his other peers do. Not even a "hey" or a "what's up, Naruto?" they are just outright mean to him in some instances. Like, I get that people drift apart as they grow older, but they are basically in the same classes, the same age and in the same peer group.
IMO it doesn't really make sense that they would just start to outright not like him ESPECIALLY given the fact that both Choji and Shikamaru are later shown to be outcasts in their own right so it even works swimmingly with things Kishimoto would set up later on. This also touches on why the village would even hate Naruto in the first place but I digress
Imagine if neji and tenten had a child that would be broken because it would spam kunai's and shuriken's while being able to manage close range combat and seeing everything it would be an aimbot

I think the relationship between hinata and neji was perfectly fine because the point was neji wanted to re-create a bond between the two but he died before he can do that making his death that much sadder and more realistic to real world death
In defense to number 4, naruto couldn't really use kurama's chakra that much at the time because it would weaken the seal

Like yourself I also heard those excuses "bla bla... Naruto, no parents, doesn’t know what love is... etc. etc.". The way the "romance" was handled in The Last, frankly, to me, was an insult. But you put it perfectly: "the romance in this series is utter garbage". I just think that it is very sad since you’re always following your favourite characters along and rooting for them (Shikamari -wooohooo- the only pairing which makes sense to me with the little on screen time they got together) and you feel like it is almost out of malice no romance is being further developed.

I think rather than having the bijuu able to die, keep them the same but have it said that after they reform they're possessed by a different consciousness. Sort of like Doctor Who - where it's the same guy, same general personality, but a different stream of consciousness piloting the ship. Would still explain their desire to keep their hosts alive, since a life imprisoned is better than one that isn't even theirs in their minds.
